[102] Confrontation

You couldn't stop thinking about what business Joao had to take care of. You were so confused. You kept calling him because you needed answers and wanted to hear what this was all about but he wouldn't answer. You ended up falling asleep but the next morning as soon as the sun hit your face you got up immediately. You ran all around the cabin searching for Joao but no sign of him. Everyone was still asleep and the entire cabin was quiet. You sighed sitting down on the couch.

Joao arrived at the cabin and hopped off the car. He made his way towards the door stomping his feet on the mat to prevent bringing snow inside the cabin. He was surprised to see Diego sitting on the bench near the front door.
Diego: well well well look who it is!
Joao ignored him and stretched his arm out to open the door but stopped when Diego asked him a question.
Diego: where were you last night? Y/n was going crazy wondering where the fuck you were.
Joao; I had something to take care of
Diego: which was?
Joao: I don't owe you any explanations
Diego: you're right. You owe them to y/n. And let me just say you better not be cheating on her. I swear if you hurt her I'll-
Joao walked over to him
Joao: you're in no position to threaten me when you're the one who keeps hurting her repeatedly. It's time to pull up your big boy pants and be a man.
Diego didn't know what to say. Joao was right.
Diego: you don't even know what's going on-
Joao: oh but I do. I know you guys had a little fling and that you asked her to meet up 2 nights ago. The audacity to ask if im asleep and then proceed to tell her to sneak out is crazy.
Diego: mmm so what are you doing exactly? Snooping through her phone?
Joao: not at all. We ACTUALLY trust each other and she told me.
Diego: she did?
Joao nodded
Joao: there's nothing to hide. You fucked up big time. I mean getting a bitch pregnant behind her back? You let her down and there's no going back.
Diego bit the inside of his cheek
Joao: next time you want to speak to her just knock on the bedroom door. There's no need to hide from me.
Diego: you think she's actually happy with you?
Joao furrowed his brows in confusion
Diego: she's happy with me, not you.
Joao: oh I know she's not entirely happy with me and I accept it. She's still stuck on you. But not for long because I actually listen to her and im there for her. Im not fucking every girl I see. I have boundaries and respect her.
At this point they were both arguing and raising their voices
Diego: yeah cut the bull shit. It's obvious she'll never love you like she loves me.
Joao: she can learn to
Diego: sure she can learn but never forget. I'll always be there. Regardless of everything. And when you guys are fucking she'll be thinking of me. You should really see the things me and her did together in bed. The way she moaned my name begging for more.
Diego chuckled and Joao gripped onto Diego's jacket punching him and sending him to the ground. Diego stood up launching himself at joao and the two of them started throwing punches back and fourth.

Suddenly you heard grunting noises coming from outside. You peeked through the window and saw Diego and Joao fighting. You quickly opened the door and ran out to stop the fight. You pulled Joao's arm trying to get him off of Diego.
You: JOAO! JOAO PLEASE!
Joao: Y/N GET BACK INSIDE
Joao threw punch after punch leaving Diego in worse conditions with every hit.
You: JOAO!
Diego managed to get Joao off of him by punching his nose. Joao fell back holding his nose which was now bleeding. Both of them were bleeding a lot. Diego had a bloody mouth with an open eyebrow cut. While Joao had a bloody nose and busted lip. You grabbed Diego by his arm pushing him away from Joao.
You: DIEGO PLEASE. JUST STOP.
Diego ignored you and pushed you aside with force accidentally hitting your cheek with his elbow
Joao: Y/N!
Joao pushed diego aside running over to you. You grabbed Joao by his arm and dragged him inside.
Diego: THIS ISNT OVER
Joao: WHEREVER AND WHENEVER LET ME KNOW AND ILL BE THERE TO BEAT YOUR ASS LAINEZ
You shut the door leaving Diego outside as you led Joao towards your room shutting the door behind you.
Joao: are you okay? Let me see.
He tried getting close to you to see your cheek and examine if you were okay but you pushed him away from you.
You: WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING?? WHY WERE YOU GUYS FIGHTING?
Joao: what does it matter?
You: I'm seriously not in the mood Joao. Answer me now. I'm not fucking around.
Joao stared at you with a blank face pinching his nose to stop it from bleeding.
You: I'm waiting
Joao rolled his eyes and stood up walking towards the bathroom. You walked after him grabbing his arm and turning him around to face you
You: where the fuck where you last night!?
Joao: I had shit to take care of
You: and you didn't get any of my calls?
Joao: nope.
He opened the faucet and ran some hot water onto his hand to clean his nose.
You: what happened out there. Why were you guys fighting?
Joao: I already told you it doesn't matter. Just forget about it.
You scoffed at him
You: joao you do understand that you left Diego looking way worse than he left you. How are you going to explain this to my dad? If Diego decides to get back at you he'll go to your coach and let him know what happened so you get expelled from your next games.
Joao continued to ignore you as he examined his injuries.
You: ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING?
Joao: I stopped listening after you said I left Diego way worse than he left me. He deserved that shit. He has such a big mouth for his height.
You: I can't with you right now.
You walked away shutting the door on him and walking out into the room. You grabbed some clothes and put them on before walking out of the room and into the living room. You grabbed the keys to the truck your dad had rented and walked outside. Diego was gone and you had no idea how he was holding up. You were so worried about him after seeing the condition Joao had left him in.

You drove to a local coffee shop and sat down inside at a random table not knowing what to do. You texted Brianna letting her know to call you whenever she got the chance, that it was urgent. Right after reading your message she called you and you explained everything to her.
Brianna: no fucking way. Oh my god I'm so sorry for you y/n, for having to put up with all their shit.
You guys kept talking and she decided it would be best for her to fly down and spend some time with you to get you away from Joao and Diego. She bought the tickets on call with you for the next day. After the call you drove around the small town and bought a few things here and there. You were buying a bathing suit to use for the hot tub when your phone started getting spammed by Kevin. Call after call, message after message. You read the messages quickly as they rolled in.

Y/N!! WHERE ARE YOU??
COME HOME NOW!

SHIT IS GETTING HEATED BETWEEN YOUR DAD AND YOUR LITTLE LOVERS!
JOAO AND DIEGO GOT INTO A FIGHT THIS MORNING AND NOW YOUR DAD IS CONFRONTING THEM
THEY NEED YOU HERE!

You: what the fuck!!
You called Kevin immediately

Kevin: hello! Finally you answer, bro you need to come home now.
You: WHAT IS GOING ON?
Kevin: so apparently joao and Diego got into a fight this morning like physical fight and your dad found out. By the way Diego is looking ROUGH. And joao too, not as much but still. Your dad is lecturing them and is deciding wether to kick them out of the cabin or not, and to expel Diego from our upcoming games as well as getting Joao expelled from his games too.
You: OH MY GOD. OKAY IM ON MY WAY
Kevin: hurryyyyy
You hung up and paid for the bathing suit before rushing back to the cabin .

As soon as you got to the cabin you could hear your dad yelling from outside. You walked inside seeing Joao and Diego seated on the couch as your dad stood in front of them. When you walked in they all stared at you.
You: what's going on? Kevin called me saying some crazy shit was happening.
Dad: go to your room. This is between me and these two.
You; no, I want to be here and see why they were fighting like savage animals in the first place. Unbelievable.
Dad: wait- you knew about the fight!?
You: yes. I was the one that separated them
Dad: y porque no me dijiste algo!?
You: because it wasn't that serious
Dad: oh yeah not the serious huh
He pointed to them
Dad: this is getting settled now. What was the reason this stupid fight happened anyway?
None of them answered
Dad: CONTÉSTENME CABRONES!
Joao and Diego looked at each other hesitant to respond scared of the consequences.
Dad: YA CONTESTEN!
Joao: diego was talking disrespectful shit about y/n and what not
Dad: disrespectful in what way? What did he say?
Joao: he mentioned the times him and y/n had sex which to me is wrong of him to mention
Diego: EY BUT HE STARTED THE FIGHT
Joao: AND? I DID IT TO STAND UP FOR Y/N!
Your dads face dropped as his anger grew. Your dad felt like beating the fuck out of the both of them.
You: WHAT?!
You turned to look at Diego furiously
Dad: Y/N WHAT DOES HE MEAN BY THAT? YOU WERE WAY TOO YOUNG TO BE HAVING SEX WHEN YOU WERE WITH DIEGO. IS THIS RECENT OR FROM WHEN YOU GUYS WERE TOGETHER??
You stayed silent
Diego: recent
Dad: WHAT? QUE ESTA PASANDO?
You bit your lip knowing this wasn't going to end up well
