You: you can't be serious bri? You're seriously going to rat me out?
Brianna: it's what anyone would do y/n, it's the right thing to do.
You: That's not what a best friend would do.
Brianna: I'll give you time to think about it, but you've got to tell them. Or I will. They deserve to know and be a part of the baby's life.

Week of the Parade

You were looking at yourself in the mirror examining your body. Your stomach was beginning to grow. It was starting to get noticeable. All eyes were going to be on you. You were really hoping no one would suspect anything or notice your extra pounds.
Manager: are you ready?
You zoned out thinking about if Diego or Joao would be coming to your parade. Would it be a good idea to talk to them about the pregnancy here? Should they know?
Manager: y/n?
You: what?
You blinked and turned to face her
Manager: I said, are you ready? You okay?
You: oh, yeah I'm ready.
Managed: your dad is looking for you. Go find him then come to the dressing room. It's time to get this show started . You're out in 30 minutes!!
You: got it!

Your dad had taken a few days off to come visit you and of course come support you during your parade. You went out to meet your dad, but were surprised when you saw Chucky and Kevin with him.
Dad: there she is!!
He embraced you in a hug
Dad: como estas mija? How are you feeling?
You: nervous!!
You chuckled
Dad: you'll do great, don't worry!
You: what are these 2 doing here?
Chucky: ah apoco crees que me iba a perder tu desfile?
You: kinda. I mean you've got a family of your own now. So I thought you would be busy.
Chucky: you're my family too y/n. I'll never be too busy for my sister.
You hugged him
You: y tu?
Kevin: oh I just took this opportunity to come visit my dear friend!
You squinted your eyes
You: liar. You came to see Brianna.
He chuckled
Kevin: partly yes
You raised your brows
Kevin: fine yes.
You rolled your eyes playfully
Kevin: no offense. I am happy to see you though.
You: mhmmm,
Kevin: pero pues, me disculpan pero tengo que ir a encontrar a mi lady
You: si ya vete

Finally you had gotten dressed and were ready to go out on the runway. You had a robe wrapped around you as you were getting some finishing touches made. Brianna came to wish you good luck just as you were about to take the stage.
Brianna: good luck out there! You'll do great!
You: aweee bri thank you!!
Brianna: and remember to picture everyone in their underwear if you get nervous
You laughed
You: will do
You took off your robe handing it to an assistant
Brianna: oh! Before I go just a heads up, Joao is out there with a couple of his team mates according to Kevin.
You: wait what?
Brianna: yeah, apparently. Kevin said he saw him taking a seat with a couple of his new team mates. I'm not sure if it was actually him though because I haven't seen him.
You: fuck. What about...you know. Did he come? Have you seen him? Does Kevin know?
Brianna: no. I don't know and I haven't seen Diego. But I'll ask Kevin.
You sighed
You: no don't. Forget I said anything.
Brianna shrugged
Brianna: okay? But you should try to talk to Joao. Give it a shot.
You: oh uh uh! I'm NOT doing this today.
Brianna: just hear me out I got an idea!
You: huh?
Assistant: ready Ms. Lozano?
Brianna: I'll tell you after your show! Now go!! 
You smiled before you heard your name being announced and you walked out. As soon as you stepped foot onto the platform you spotted Joao. You felt anxious but quickly wiped the feeling away. He didn't break eye contact at all which made you slightly nervous. Thanks to the photographers and their flashing lights you lost sight of Joao and continued with the show.

Joao's POV
As soon as y/n walked out onto the runway my jaw dropped. I mean sure I've seen her like this before, but this time she looked confident and as always stunning. Seems like our break up gave her that glow up everyone says happens when you go through a break up. She looked my way and we made eye contact as I raised my brows at her gesturing a "hey." I came with a couple of the guys from the team which I instantly regretted once they started taunting me and acting childish.

Pedri laughed
Pedri: close your mouth joao or you'll begin to drool at the sight of y/n
Gavi chuckled and Joao closed his mouth
Gavi: can you believe all of THAT was once Joao's? Crazy if you ask me.
Pedri: wonder how that even became a thing, I mean look at Joao and then look at y/n
Joao rolled his eyes at Pedri's comment
Gavi: is it just me or is she looking a bit chubby?
Pedri: chubby?
Gavi: yeah. Seems like she gained a couple pounds. More noticeable from her stomach, not so much from her face.
Pedri: yeah I see it. She did NOT look like that last time I talked to her.
Joao: will you two shut up? Jeez. What does it matter if she gained pounds or not. I didn't bring you guys here for you to body shame her.
They both looked at each other sharing a laugh at how angry Joao was before they went silent.

After the show you went back to your dressing room and sighed in relief. Finally the show was over and there was no need to expose your pregnant self out to the world again. Though you still had to get over the critics point of view and hoped nobody would bring up your weight gain. Then your thoughts were interrupted as Brianna walked inside.
Brianna: oh my goddddd!! You were amazing out there!! I'm so proud of you!!
You: thank you!! I was so nervous I thought I was going to tumble over!
She chuckled
Brianna: no no you did so good!
You: I felt so sick to the stomach when I saw Joao. Like everything was moving in slow motion.
Brianna: speaking of Joao. Let me tell you about the idea I have on how you can figure out wether he is the dad of your baby or if it's Diego.
You: I'm listening
Brianna: you'll have to get near him for this. Invite him for a drink or something and then we can take a sample of his dna from the lining of the cup where he drank from and send it to the laboratory.
You: wait- that might actually work.
Brianna: if the results come back negative, then it's no doubt. The baby belongs to Diego.
You: oh god. This is risky.
Just then Kevin walked inside the room
Kevin: what about Diego?
You looked at Brianna with widened eyes
Brianna: oh ummm nothing.
Kevin: guys come on! You can trust me with your girl talk
Brianna: um y/n was just wondering how Diego was doing. How come he didn't come?
Kevin: oh. Well about that, your dad forbid him to come.
You: he- what?
