You: this. You're gonna have to be able to control your actions. We can't risk getting caught.
Diego: well memo already knows and Chucky. Sorta. I think it's time they know.
You: know what exactly?
Diego: that we wanna be together
You: no not yet. We still need more time.
Diego: we?
You: me. I need more time. I have to figure out something with Joao and you know, I don't want to hurt him. But I also need to finish some projects and then we can think about what we're gonna do. I don't wanna rush into the relationship. And besides we know my dad isn't gonna take this very well so I want to let him know when the time is perfect.
Diego: so you do and don't wanna get together right now?
You: yeah, kinda I guess.
Diego: kinda? What do you mean?
You: well when you put it like that it sounds like I don't wanna be with you at all. But I do. It's just that I wanna take things slow.
Diego nodded
Diego: and how long is that gonna take?
You: a couple weeks, maybe months

Diego: I don't know if I can wait that long. I mean I've BEEN waiting for you since like forever. And there were always excuses. And now that there aren't any and we can finally be together you don't want to?

Deep down you still felt something for Joao, and you couldn't help but feel terrible for leaving him to be with Diego. Especially after everything he has done for you. You didn't want to lie to Diego but you also didn't want to tell him about this feeling.

You shrugged
Diego: what's that supposed to mean?
You: Diego. Just hear me out okay? And please don't get mad. I'm going to be honest.
Diego scoffed

He started raising a voice a little too much
You: shhh Diego everyone's gonna hear and-
Diego: I don't care anymore!! They can hear us. I need everyone to know. I'm tired of hiding okay? I'm done y/n.
You: you're making this too much about yourself. What about me?
Diego: what about you?
You: I have other things that matter too. You're not the only thing. I have priorities. Please, I just want to take things calmly. I want to be with you and grow together. Eventually have a family. Have you ever thought about that? Having kids of your own? Diego. I want to have your kids!
Diego: yeah well I should be one of your priorities, and clearly I'm not but joao is. And no! Fuck no! I don't want kids! They're a waste of time. They'll ruin my career!
You: what? Are you serious right now? You can't be serious!
Diego: did I stutter? No. I don't want to have kids. Forget about it. Maybe Joao will want to have kids with you
You: oh enough about him!! CANT YOU UNDERSTAND THAT-
Diego: no I can't.

Diego: then I guess I don't love you enough to understand why you can be with Joao but not me.
You stayed quiet
Diego: I don't think I want to be with someone who puts OTHERS before me and clearly doesn't know what she wants.
You: yeah well I don't want to be with someone who's immature and is selfish!
Diego: at least we can agree on one thing
You: which is?
Diego: we can't be together.
You: no Diego-
Diego: maybe you should stay and not go on the trip. So you don't have to ruin my vacation too.
He turned around and walked out of your room. You stood there in shock questioning what had just happened. You were upset yet mad at the same time. Why couldn't he understand what you were going through? If he loved you he would understand and stick around until you were ready. But yet again it wasn't fair to him to have him waiting for a long time. You needed time to figure everything out.

Diego entered his room infuriated at the thought of you still loving Joao.
Diego: how could I have not seen this coming earlier?? OF COURSE she wasn't going to leave him.

The next morning you woke up early for your flight. You took your luggage downstairs and left it next to the others for the guys to load up. You wanted to talk to Diego about last night and see if he had calmed down. You went up to his room and knocked but no answer. You kept knocking each time a bit louder.
Memo: no esta
You turned to look at memo
You: a donde fue?
Memo shrugged
Memo: he left pretty early
You: did he say what time he's coming back?
Memo: no. But it shouldn't be long. He should be here soon to help load up everything for the trip.
You nodded and went back to your room. Where could he have gone? At that exact time you received a call from Joao. You looked at your phone as it rang and shut it off. You couldn't deal with him right now. You needed to clear your mind. You went down to the kitchen to grab something quick to eat. You didn't have much appetite. You sat at the table all alone lost in your thoughts. Suddenly you were scared out of them. You turned around fast to see Kevin dying of laughter.
You: ha ha so funny Kevin.
Kevin: oh you should've seen your face!!
You rolled your eyes ignoring him and going back to your thoughts
Kevin: uh oh what's wrong?
He stopped laughing and put on a serious face
You: nothing
Kevin: then why do you have that face?
You: what face?
Kevin: THAT face. The one when you're worried.
You: it's complicated
Kevin: problems with work?
You: no.
Kevin: oh. With Diego?
You nodded
Kevin: ahora que paso?
You: we're done.
Kevin: done? What do you mean done?
You: he doesn't want to wait for me until I'm ready.
Kevin: why?

You were interrupted by the woman you hated the most in the entire world.
Stephanie: Is diego home?
You: what the fuck are you doing inside my house??
You stood up walking to her
