Stephanie: you didn't answer my question
You: neither did you
Stephanie: your dad let me in
You: MY DAD??
She nodded
Stephanie: I can't deal with you right now. Kevin, where is Diego?
Kevin: uhhh-
She pushed you aside and you pulled her back by her arm
You: don't ever push me out of the way like that again!
Stephanie: let go!
Kevin stayed seated not knowing what to do
Stephanie: I'm serious, I need to speak to Diego. It's urgent.
You: he's not here
Stephanie: where did he go?
You shrugged
Stephanie: aren't you his bitch? Shouldn't you know?
You rolled your eyes
You: what do you need him for. What's so urgent?
Stephanie: doesn't concern you
You: actually it does, you see me and Diego-
Stephanie: ah. There he is.
Just then Diego walked inside the house all sweaty. He had come back from his run. He was about to go upstairs when Stephanie called his name.
Stephanie: Diego.
He heard his name come from the kitchen and realized who it was. He made his way into the kitchen.
Diego: Stephanie?
She nodded
Diego: what are you doing here?
Stephanie: I need to talk to you
Diego: okayyyy? Go ahead.
She turned to look at you and Kevin.
Stephanie: alone?
Diego: oh. Sure. Let's go to the office?
They both made their way over there, leaving you and Kevin alone.
Kevin: y ahora? Que quedra?
You: I don't know but it seemed suspicious no?
Kevin: very. She didn't even try to argue with you this time. She was serious.
You: yeahhh.

Diego: soooo what is it you want to talk about?
Stephanie: well first of all how have you been?
Diego: good, very good.
Stephanie: that's nice to hear. How have things been going with y/n?
Diego: uhh alright.
Stephanie: hm, trouble in paradise?
Diego stayed quiet
Stephanie: so things aren't going very good I'm assuming right?
Diego cleared his throat
Diego: so what exactly is it you're here for?
Stephanie: just hear me out okay?
Diego nodded
Stephanie: I think I'm pregnant
Diego chuckled
Stephanie: what's funny?
Diego: are you being serious?
Stephanie: yes Diego
Diego combed his hair back with his hand
Diego: this can't be
Stephanie: I'm not completely sure but I think I am
Diego: have you taken a test?
Stephanie: yeah. I didn't take a test at home though. I went to the clinic and took one there. They sent the test to the laboratory. I'm supposed to get the results back between today and tomorrow.
Diego: okay, good at least the results will be accurate. I doubt you're pregnant though.
Stephanie: I guess, but I'm actually pretty sure I'm pregnant.
Diego: are you having symptoms?
Stephanie: no, but I'm late.
Diego: how late are we talking about?
Stephanie: 3 weeks
Diego: fuck
Stephanie: what are we going to do?
Diego: first of all, I don't even know if the potential child is mine
Stephanie: what the fuck? Are you seriously going to question me?
Diego: I'm just saying
Stephanie: ITS YOURS. I'm sure of that. You're the only one I've been with
Diego: yeah yeah that's what they all say
Stephanie: can you stop being so immature and accept it? Diego it's yours.
Diego sighed not knowing what to do
Diego: I need time to think about this okay? I'm about to go on a trip and it will help clear my mind.
Stephanie: what is there to think about?
Diego: EVERYTHING
Stephanie looked at him with furrowed brows
Diego: a child will be the end of my career
Stephanie: how?
Diego: knowing Raul, he's gonna make me take a break to be with the kid and then I'll loose game time and everyone will forget about me. I won't get scouted by European leagues anymore.
Stephanie: so your career is more important than your child?
Diego: yes
Stephanie: diego this kid will have YOUR blood, it's your family, your future
Diego bit his lip
Diego: fuck. Im gonna be stressing about this the entire trip. You're coming.
Stephanie: huh?
Diego: you're coming on this trip. I need to be there when you receive the results.
Stephanie: what? No. Im not going on that trip. What's everyone gonna s-
Diego: you're coming. End of discussion.
Stephanie: I don't even have anything packed
Diego looked at his watch
Diego: you got 2 hours to be back here packed
Stephanie groaned and walked out the door going back home to pack. Meanwhile Diego went to go take a shower and finish packing.

Everyone started loading up the trucks. You were riding in the car with Kevin. You guys were about to head towards the airport when you saw Stephanie pull up..again.
You: what the-
Kevin: fuck?
She parked her car and you saw her taking down luggage.
You: WHAT IS SHE DOING?
Then you saw Diego help her put her luggage in his car. Then they both got in and headed off.
You: IS HE BEING FOR REAL?
Kevin: please don't tell me she's coming with us
You: by the look of it she is. I can't believe him. It's been only a day and he already went back to that bitch
Kevin: why are you so worried anyways? You guys weren't even a thing. And you got Joao, who has been calling you all day by the way.
You huffed and crossed your arms as Kevin drove.

At the airport all of you took your luggage down and had valet take your cars. After that you all went inside to wait until your flight was called. The entire time you couldn't help but keep your eyes on Diego and Stephanie. You were so confused as to why she had to come on the trip. Several times you and Diego made eye contact but ignored eachother.

During the flight you had forgotten that you and Diego were seated together. You both shared a look before he spoke up.
Diego: do you mind if Stephanie sits in your seat?
You: what?
Diego: can Stephanie sit there, next to me?
You: no.
Diego: y/n I need her to sit next to me
You: it's MY seat
Your dad was over hearing everything
Dad: mija vente para acá. Déjalos a ellos. De seguro quieren estar solos, no los molestes.
You scoffed at your dad taking his side
You: pero pa, este es mi asiento yo-
He grabbed your hand and dragged you over towards him leaving Diego and Stephanie to themselves.
Dad: Mira aquí siéntate conmigo.
You sighed as you took a seat next to your dad. These were gonna be a long 4 hours. You slept through the entire flight but at times got up to use the bathroom only to see Diego laughing with Stephanie or them sleeping on each other. The jealousy was killing you. After those long 4 hours you guys arrived. Ubers were waiting for you guys to take you to the cabin your dad had rented.

At the cabin you all got settled in. Kevin and Diego had switched rooms. So now your room was across from kevins. Diego's room was all the way down the hallway. Nowhere near yours. Thankfully, you thought to yourself. You couldn't bare seeing Stephanie and Diego together.

After everyone was settled in they started planning what you guys were going to do. You didn't have the energy to do anything. Especially not after seeing how much Stephanie and Diego were enjoying being together. Turns out Diego was actually having fun with Stephanie, despite their past drama.
Kevin: hey, you okay?
You nodded
Kevin: you sure
You: yep
Kevin: mentirosa
You: ughhh I wish I was back home instead
Kevin: you wanna go do something fun?
You: like?
Kevin: I don't know. We should go outside and explore?
You: fine
Kevin: alright I'll wait for you outside
You got dressed in the right kind of clothes for the weather (there was snow outside). You slipped on some warm leggings with Ugg's, a light brown long sleeve and a puffer vest with earmuffs.
Dad: a donde vas?
You: outside with Kevin
Dad: be careful
You nodded. As you were walking outside you bumped into Diego and Stephanie who were just coming inside the house from being outside. Diego's nose and cheeks were all red and he was shaking. You held in your laugh and he furrowed his brows at you.

You and Kevin had a fun time being outside in the snow. You mostly threw snow at each other. Eventually it got too cold so you guys went back inside. Once back at the house everyone was gone. They had all gone their separate ways.
You: huh. That's weird. They didn't even let us know
Kevin: they're fake as fuck
You nodded before you threw yourself on the couch
You: better for me. House all to myself
Kevin: OURselves
You: what's the point though, there's nothing fun to do here
Kevin: wellll I'm gonna go call Brianna and see what she's up to
You: oh yeah great leave me alone too
He gave you a small smile before walking away. You were bored out of your mind not knowing what to do. You ended up falling asleep on the couch.

You were awoken by the sound of the door shutting. You saw your dad coming inside with Memo.
You: hey. You're back. Where did you go?
Dad: we went to go get food. Todavía no llegan los demás?
You: no
He set the food on the table
Dad: oh. Ehmm can you help memo get the rest of the luggage's inside from the garage?
You nodded and made your way towards the garage. You grabbed some luggage's and were about to walk back inside but memo dropped some luggage's on purpose.
Memo: ay
You: espera deja te ayudo
You put down the luggage's and helped memo pick up the ones he dropped. You could hear a lot of noise coming from inside.
You: what's going on inside?
Memo: eh no se.
You frowned as you heard your dad laugh LOUDLY
You: that's weird
You guys took a little longer to bring everything towards the door so it was easier to carry everything in at once rather than having to keep going back. You walked inside to see mostly everyone back. Diego and Stephanie were now sitting on the couch watching a movie. You clenched your jaw, as your dad grabbed you by your shoulders making you drop the luggage's.
You: dad the lugga-
Dad: can you go see if my phone is in your purse? It's in your room right?
You: uh- I don't think it's there.
Dad: can you please just check? I can't find it.
You: I'll call you-
Dad: we tried calling but it's not here
You pulled out your phone and called your dad. His phone rang in his pocket.
You: um-
Dad: oh ahí está
He gave you a fake laugh. Why was he acting weird? You sat down to eat and your dad kept asking you to do random things to try and get you to go to your room. Which wasn't working because you would out smart him in the situations he would ask.
Dad: mija no tienes frío? You should go change into something else
You: nope I'm fine
Dad: segura? Yo tengo mucho frío.
You handed him his jacket from the hanging rack
You: here
Dad: oh, thanks.

After a long time of your dad making excuses for whatever reason, it got a bit late and you wanted to go get dressed into your pj's.
You: well if you'll excuse me I'm going to go change.
You made your way to your room and you over heard your dad say "FINALLY".
You: what?
At this point you were starting to think your dad was trying to push you away from everyone the entire day. Did he not want you there?
You opened the door to your room bummed out after hearing what your dad said. To your surprise, as you opened the door you saw balloons, a bouquet of flowers and Joao passed out on your bed.
You: OH MY GOD.
