[85] Surprise

You shook your head taking a deep breath and walking back outside to the party. The rest of the afternoon went really well. A couple hours later Diego and Graciella came back. They joined everyone in the back yard acting as if nothing had happened between them.
Kevin: you okay?
You: yeah, I'm just a little tired
Kevin: it's barely 8pm
You: It is?
Kevin: yeah, you sure that's what's bothering you?
You: Mhm
Kevin: let's take a shot to wake you up
He went to grab a tequila bottle and 2 shot glasses. He filled both of them up to the very top and handed you one.
Kevin: orale
You guys clinked the glasses and swallowed the tequila in one shot
You: otro?
Kevin smirked. You both kept drinking more and more getting tipsy
Kevin: vamos a quedar bien pedos
You: y que tiene?
He laughed. Diego was observing you from the table afar watching your every move.
Graciella: Diego?
She looked in the direction he was looking at and rolled her eyes clapping in his face bringing him back to his senses
Diego: huh?
Graciella: Que le ves? Leave her be. She doesn't want you. She never did.
Diego: I know.
Graciella: then stop focusing on her, and focus on me. Diego, I've always loved you.
She grabbed his hands
Graciella: dame la oportunidad de demostrártelo
Diego chuckled
Diego: it's gonna take more than that for me to give you an opportunity. You gotta show me you're worth my time.

You: no no no. I don't wanna get black out drunk. Remember what happened last time I drank too much?
Kevin laughed
Kevin: oh yeahhh! You and Joao were about to fuck.
You: exactly. I loose my mind.
Kevin: well let's avoid that from happening
Kevin's eyes focused somewhere else and he nodded. You turned and saw no one.
You: who are you talking to?
Kevin: no one
Suddenly your eyes were covered with 2 hands
Joao: guess who
You gasped taking his hands off of your eyes and turning around to see Joao. You scooted out of your chair so fast embracing him in a hug. The noise of your chair scraping along the concrete called attention. Everyone's eyes were focused on you and Joao. Diego clenched his jaw at the sight of joao holding you.
You: what are you doing here?
Joao: I came to the party!
You: I thought you couldn't come
Joao: it was a surprise, I couldn't tell you I was coming
You smiled giving him a kiss
You: come
You dragged him towards where your dad was
You: apa mira quien vino
Dad: Joao!
Your dad gave Joao a side hug
Dad: it's so nice to see you again mijo
Joao: same here sir. I'm glad to be back in this welcoming home
Dad: oh please, call me Raul. There's no need for the sir
Joao: oh, okay Raul
Dad: that's more like it!
Then chucky saw him and came to greet him
Chucky: CUŃADO!
Joao chuckled
Chucky: what are you doing here?
Joao: you really think I was gonna miss my brother in laws gender reveal? Congrats on the baby boy. I'm so happy for you. You're gonna be a great parent.
Chucky: thanks man. Means a lot.
Joao: first baby of the new generation. That's exciting.
Chucky: ay but you and y/n are next. Knock her up. We gotta have the generation grow.
Chucky winked and Joao's eyes widened while everyone laughed
You: CHUCKY
Dad: it's true. I want LOTS of grandkids. You got a pretty big task Joao.
He chuckled as joao pulled you close to him
Joao: what do you think? You want a mini y/n?
You: mmmm I was thinking a mini joao
You both laughed
Dad: come, let me introduce you to the rest of the family
He took joao leaving you there
You: BRING HIM BACK
Dad: NO PROMISES
He shouted back. You laughed walking back to your seat.
Kevin: your dad gets along with him really well
You: yeah, he does. I love the relationship they have.
Kevin: alguien por ahí está celoso
You: huh?
Kevin: Diego. He clenched his jaw once he saw joao. You can tell he's not enjoying this
You: well there's nothing I can do about it

Graciella: he's dating y/n?
Diego nodded
Graciella: hm. She doesn't have bad taste at all
Diego scoffed
Diego: what's so great about him?
Graciella: everything. Look at him.
Diego: what the fuck are you on? I'm WAY better than that. I mean look at me
Graciella: I'm not saying you're not but he's not too bad either
Diego: what the fuck
He stood up walking away
Graciella: Diego wait-
Diego grabbed a glass of wine and took a sip observing Joao.
Joao: let's dance?
You: I thought you'd never ask Mr. Felix
You stood up interlocking hands with him and going into the center of the dance floor with the others. He placed his hands on your lower hips and you wrapped your arms around his neck. The music started and you both moved along to the rhythm of the song playing. You couldn't stop laughing.
Chucky: hacen muy buena pareja
Dad: si. Ojalá no la lastime como..diego
Chucky: mas le vale

Joao: everyone is staring at us
You: so? Let them stare.
Joao leaned in connecting his lips with yours.
Joao: mmm that reminds me! I brought you a gift actually. It's still in my car. I'll be right back.
You: okay
He left through the side gate. A while had gone by and you noticed he was taking longer than usual. So you decided to go check up on him just in case. You opened the gate and bumped into someone.
Diego: ten mas cuidado
You: oh I'm so sorry. I didn't see you.
You looked up to see Diego
You: oh you've gotta be kidding.
You pushed him trying to get through but he grabbed your arm pulling you back.
You: OW OW OW DIEGO
He let your arm go
Diego: I see you brought your little boyfriend. You tryna make me jealous Lozano?
You: no. He just showed up. I didn't even know he was coming. It was surprise.
Diego: Mhm. It's not gonna work on me. You're not going to get a reaction out of me
You: I wasn't trying too.
Diego: uy pero no te enojes
He gripped onto your waist bringing you close to where your titties were pressed down onto his chest.
Diego: don't tempt me y/n
You: and if I do, what? Huh?
Diego: you've done enough with just wearing that dress
He checked you out
Diego: it really highlights...my favorite parts
He chuckled
You: ew you're such a creep
Diego: yo se que te tengo loca por mi
You: pfffft. Ya quisieras.
Diego: oh que? You're gonna deny that it bothered you that I was fucking Graciella?
You: yes it bothered me. Because I didn't think you would go to those extremes.
Diego: baby, for her, I'll go to any extremes
You rolled your eyes
Diego: you know? Imma have to admit...she does do it better than you
You tilt your head with furrowed brows

You: ya callate. I have to go find Joao.
Diego: oh speaking of him. I saw Graciella walking over to him with the biggest smirk on her face.
You: WHAT. WHERE.
Diego: out in the front
You started running towards the front of the house but stopped in your tracks as you saw Joao pressed up against his car. Graciella was playing with a strand of his hair that was out of place
Diego: shit. She took your man twice.
