I trailed my fingers on her curve as her body arched against mine. She tugged my hair as she muffled a moan.

My eyes are closed as I planted wet kisses on her jaw going down to her neck to her shoulders.

"Delancy," I groaned.

Nagulat na lang ako nang isang malakas na sampal ang tumama sa mukha ko.

"You asshole! I'm not Delancy!" sigaw ng babae at tinulak ako paalis sa ibabaw niya.

She hurriedly got up and picked her clothes up. Sinuot niya iyon at nagmamadaling umalis, halatang nasira ko ang mood niya. Napahilamos ako, pangatlong pagkakataon ng nangyari ito ngayong buwan. Sa lahat ng ginagawa ko, siya ang naiisip ko.

Magtatatlong buwan na rin kaming hindi nagkikita, mayroon daw siyang inasikaso kaya at sobrang busy ko rin kaya hindi kami nagkakausap. Hindi na rin namin napag-usapan ang mga nangyari at mga kalokohang ginawa niya noong lasing siya. Sobra na talaga akong naguguluhan, I never felt this way before, only with Delancy. In the end, umuwi na lang ako sa family house namin kung saan ako sinalubong ng kambal kong lunod sa trabaho.

"Oh, you look miserable," bungad niya.

"Ano 'yang inaasikaso mo?" tanong ko.

"Something about the company," sagot niya.

Out of nowhere, Jacskon came out holding his laptop.

"Jack, hindi mo na ba talaga bibitawan 'yang laptop mo? Ano ba'ng inaasikaso mo d'yan at hindi mo mabitawan? Hindi ka pa kumakain," panenermon ni Kass.

"I'm just playing, ate. Bigyan niyo ako ng pamangkin para may iba akong pagkaabalahan," sagot niya at pareho kaming napangiwi.

"Are you serious?" saad ko.

"Nah, just kidding. Seriously though, you two should really settle down. You're getting old"

"I'm not old!" singhal ni Kass.

"Ate Kass, Kasper,  you two are thirty one already, get a life! Ang tatanda niyo na wala pa kayong mga asawa."

"Wala akong balak iwan ang trabaho ko," sagot ni Kassandra.

"Speaking of, last month, I was invited to an exclusive island. The owner asked me to make a vlog about it to promote the place. Sabi nila puwede akong manatili ng anim na buwan kung gusto kong magbakasyon, kung gusto mo, ate, sa'yo na ang chance na 'yon. Take a rest will you?"

"Maybe next time, I still have so much work to do. Since Kasper is starting his own restaurant, some of the files were sent to me. I had to double my effort, I have no time for vacations," sagot naman ni Kassandra.

"Bahala ka," sagot ni Jackson at umalis papuntang kusina.

"He talks as if he's got a girlfriend," mahinang sabi ko.

"He's kinda right, you know? You should settle down," litaniya ni Kass.

"Mauna ka kaya."

"You know I'm not ready yet, I don't think I'll ever be ready to commit again after what happened," sagot niya kaya napabuntong-hininga ako.

"It's been years since that happened, Kass. Free yourself from the past, it's time for you to settle down."

"Same goes to you."

"Parang ayoko, besides, I don't have someone."

Tumaas ang kilay niya sa akin. "How about Delancy? You two have been hanging out for months na. Where is she, anyway?"

"She said she's taking care of personal matters."

"Oh, okay."

"I'll go ahead," saad ko at umakyat papunta sa kuwarto ko.

I threw myself in bed, napabuntong-hininga na lang ako. I'm not the Kasper I used to be, simula seventeen years old ako, nasanay na akong nag-uuwi ng iba't-ibang babae. I couldn't even get laid now, all I ever think about is Delancy. I don't know what I should do, this feeling is new to me. I took my phone from my pocket and decided to call her. Her phone kept ringing but she's not answering. I tried a few more times but it's still the same.

I took a shower and went to bed. I tried to sleep but I can't. I shifted to different positions but I still can't sleep. It was already midnight when a message popped up on my cellphone screen.

A smile immediately formed on my lips as I saw Delancy's name.

"Sorry, naka-silent ang phone ko. Bakit ka pala tumatawag?" she texted.

Bakit nga ba ako tumawag sa kaniya?

"I miss you," my fingers automatically typed.

I was gonna erase it but I tapped on the wrong button. The message was immediately sent to her.

"Gago," she replied.

Natawa naman ako sa reply niya, I could only imagine her face right now. She's probably rolling her eyes and cursing me.

"Tatanungin ko lang kung kailan ka babalil dito? Bumalik naman na si Rogue sa kompanya kaya sisimulan ko na ang restaurant," I chatted her.

"Actually, nakabalik na ako kahapon pa."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I don't want to disturb you, duh!"

Napailing ako, hanggang ba sa text ganiyan pa rin siya.

"Can I call you?"

"Bakit?"

'I wanna hear your voice,' gusto kong sabihin 'yon sa kaniya pero pinigilan ko ang sarili ko.

"So we can discuss things about my business," sagot ko na lang.

"Can't we do this tomorrow?"

"Sige, pero magkikita tayo,"

Matagal bago hindi siya sumagot.

"Do we really have to?" parang nag-aalangang tanong niya.

"Oo naman, it's better that way. One o'clock in the afternoon sa mall na lang tayo magkita,"

"Hindi ba dapat sa office mo?"

"Mas maganda sa mall, pagkatapos nating pag-usapan 'yong details, we could still hang out"

"Sige."

"Matutulog ka na ba?" I asked.

"Oo sana."

"Okay, sleep tight, Delancy. Good night, sweet dreams."

"Good night, Kasper. See you tomorrow." she said then ended the call.

I stared at my phone's screen. I didn't realize I was smiling from ear to ear. Napahiga ako at napatitig sa ceiling.

Maybe they're right, maybe I should be settling down. Siguro hindi ko maamin pero isa ang nasiguro ko kanina, Delancy is special to me. Maybe I could still change and be better for her. No, I would be better for her, she doesn't deserve a philander.

I could still make this work, and maybe,

I could still give us a chance.
