Three months passed since Delancy and KD moved here. Delancy is doing well with her business as well. But the opposite is happening to us. There are times, na nagiging awkward ang paligid namin. Our confrontation didn't end that well, because I ended up walking out after saying something stupid.
And now, here I am, wearing a blue shirt with a picture of stick figures printed on it. I'm just lucky Delancy was there to attend meetings and do all those things for me.
Tamara yelled from outside my room.
Tamara literally begged her to come with us, and of course, with Delancy being naturally soft for kids, she couldn't say no.
She and KD sat at the back seat and she kept chanting, "Sasakay kami sa car!"
I never opened that topic to her. As much as possible, I want to just leave things in the past.
I leaned over to fix her seatbelt, and then whispered, "Her mom and little sister died because of a car accident."
"Little sister?" She also kept her voice low.
Tumango ako. "Yeah, pangalawang anak namin. We got into an accident the night she's about to give birth. Unfortunately, they didn't survive."
Sasagot sana siya pero sumigaw si Tamy. "Daddy! Let's go!"
Natatawang ini-start ko ang kotse at nagmaneho. It took us fifteen minutes before we arrived at her school.
Two sections for every grade level ang mayroon dito at sadyang pang-elementary lang. Although families are seated all over the hall's ground, there is still a huge space in the middle where they held mini-games.
As soon as we sat down, the MC started announcing today's activities.
When Tamara and her classmates went up the stage, Delancy took her phone out and started recording.
I can't help but hold back my laughter as I look at Tamara. Throughout the whole three-minute dance number, Tamara looked like someone who's so done with whole existence.
