8 / Hate

When they got back to the house Liane ran straight to the shower. After she had gotten into the shower Seungmin, Hyunjin and Felix all came into the living room.

"Guys. Where's Haeun?" Hyunjin spoke.

"She's showering why?" Jisung responded.

"Look at this." Felix showed the five boys a picture. It was of Haeun running, then he swiped to the next one, one of her in the gym doing squats. And then again, one of her benching, another and another. There was so many pictures.

"Oh shit." Chan gasped, "She wasn't lying when she said she can lift as much as Changbin." He laughed. Changbin gave him a glare.

"Chan, the comments are everywhere. Some people love her and think she looks great and is happy that she's working out to keep up with us and some people are still mad that she's in our group, and then there's even more people complaining about how 'a girl isn't supposed to look like that' I'm worried I don't want her to see this what if it gets to her?" Seungmin said as he swiped down to the comments and handed the phone to Chan.

personA: I want to be her.

personB: Dude what the fuck she's a girl she's not supposed to have a body like that.

personC: She's cool, I just don't think she should be in SKZ

personD: i hate how she already has people surrounding her taking pictures like she's not even that cool

"Shit." Jisung said over Chan's shoulder, "She's been freaking out about our fans hating her, I don't want her to see this."

"Neither do I. I wish people understood how great she is and that she doesn't deserve any of this." Felix added.

"What do we do?" Jeongin spoke up, "I mean she'll probably be getting out of the shower soon, we have to keep her off her phone until all of this dies down."

"I.N that's gonna be a few days probably, we can't keep her from it for that long." Minho replied. They were all standing in the living room pondering what to do about this ordeal when the shower stopped. They all looked at eachother, all with the same expression, 'Oh Fuck'.

"Just talk to her like normal it's fine guys we'll figure out how to tell her in the morning." Chan told all of them.

"What are you guys doing?" They all turned to the girl with her hair up in a towel and a long shirt with sweatpants on.

"Nothing just-"

"Is that my shirt?" Hyunjin went up to her and felt the shirt.

"I dunno,"she shrugged, "Maybe maybe not I just found it laying around so I took it." She smiled, "If it is yours though then it's a pretty cute shirt, you want it back?"

"Uh," He looked down at her in his shirt. At first he felt upset that she'd take something without asking but all of that went away when he saw how pretty she looked in it.

"Hello? Hyunjin?" She waved a hand in front of him. He snapped out of his trance, "My eyes are up here buddy." She laughed, her statement made him blush a little.

"Sorry, uhm you can keep it it's fine." He smiled at her.

"You're funny Jinnie." She trotted past him into the kitchen. She opened the fridge as she asked, "Hey Minho is this chocolate cake you made still good to eat?" She pulled it out of the fridge and noticed all the boys acting weird, "What happened to you guys you're all really quiet."

"The cake is fine to eat Li." Minho said quietly.

"Okay something's up with you guys. I'm cutting a piece of this cake for myself and then we're sitting down and talking about whatever happened while I was showering." She said firmly and then turned her back into the kitchen. All the boys just silently spoke to eachother.

"Dude what do we say" Jisung mouthed.

"We have to tell her the truth."

"No way we can't what if she gets upset over it."

"She's gonna find out one way or another let's just get it over with."

"Everyone sit down on the couch." She ordered. She pulled up a chair in front of the couch so she was looking at all of them, "Who's talking first." She said as she took a bite of the cake.

"Li we need to show you something." Changbin spoke softly, "Felix show her." Felix brought his phone to her with the pictures and comments on it. The boys sat silent as she scrolled through the pictures and comments.

personA: She looks weird with all that muscle

personB: I still don't get why SKZ wanted her to join.

"Damn one day and i'm already in the center of Hate City." She laughed, "Well I guess that's just how it is then." The boys seemed surprised at her response.

"You aren't upset?" Jeongin asked her, quietly.

"Of course I am, I wish everyone could love me the way they love you all but it will never happen." She sighed, "I just have to work my ass off to be perfect for not only Stay but for you guys too. I realized that earlier today which is why I ran to the gym. I have to stay perfect for my boys." She smiled at them all taking another bite of her cake, "But also I don't know what these people are thinking do you guys see how good I look in these photos? Felix can you send me the link to this?"

"Uh- Uhm yea of course Li." He was still a little thrown off by her not being upset.

"So you're okay?" Changbin asked her.

"For now. But once I finish this cake there's no promises." She smiled which made them all feel better. Like Han said, her smile lights up a room, "I would have been mad if you all waited to tell me and I know some of you wanted to. So you all better keep that in mind just incase. Now come here." She stood up and held out her arms for a group hug. Jisung basically jumped out of his seat. The boy loves physical affection and she knows that very well. They all piled around.

"Thanks for joining us Haeun, we couldn't be happier that you're here." Chan said in the hug.

"Oh shut up Chan you're gonna make me cry."
