9 / Hwang Hyunjin

News:

Due to anonymous bullying allegations, Stray Kids member, Hwang Hyunjin, will be going on hiatus. We do not know how long this hiatus will last.

"This can't be happening." Summer walked into Felix and Hyunjin's room almost crying. "Can't you go on hiatus and still live with us or something you can't leave Hyunjin."

"Summer, I have to I don't get a choice." He sighed as he shoved some stuff into his suitcase.

"But it's not true. Why should you have to leave for something that's not even true?" She was crying now.

"An allegation is an allegation. There's nothing we can do about it now." Hyunjin still refused to look at her.

"What are we going to do without you?" She burried her face in her hands as he walked over to her. Moved her hands and lifted her head to look at him.

"Li, this isn't goodbye forever. I'll be back. That's a promise. You all will be okay without me. We can still stay in touch okay?" She just wrapped her arms around him, continuing to sob. He put one hand on her back and the other rubbing her head. She wished nothing more than to just let him stay. She didn't want him to go. Slowly, Felix opened the door and noticed her crying in Hyunjins arms. She's never been through the pain of losing a member before, even if she knows he'll be back. Felix joined her. As soon as he saw the scene he burst into tears and ran to the two, "Felix I promise it's going to be okay." He put the hand that was on Summer's head onto Felix's back. The three sat there for a little, Hyunjin trying his best to seem strong but he was so close to breaking. After they finally stopped crying for a bit Hyunjin finished his packing, "I guess it's my time to go." He smiled in front of the remaining 7. They were all on the verge of tears. He went down the line of them and hugged each one whispering something in their ear, specific to them. She was at the end, She wasn't sure if she could handle this without bursting into tears. Hyunjin hugged Felix who was right next to her, she could tell that everyone was crying now. No one can hold it in when someone they love so dearly is leaving. Now, her turn.

"Hi." She smiled with glossy eyes. He threw his arms around her waist.

"Oh i'm going to miss you Haeun. I love you, a lot, a lot more than you may think. Just please, don't forget me over the time i'm gone, don't forget our memories." He whispered.

"How could I?" Her voice was shaky, it was clear that she was crying now.

"And one more thing. Keep wearing my shirt. It looks good on you." He leaned out of the hug and kissed the top of her head. She looked up and him with blush on her cheeks and gave him a small smile, "Goodbye everyone. I will miss you all dearly." He waved as he left out the door. No one could say anything back, they could only stand there and wave with little smiles on their faces.

"We love you Hyunjin." Chan managed to get out.

"And I love you all." He smiled before getting into the car to take him to god knows where. As soon as the door shut they all stood there. They couldn't understand that it really happened. That he was really gone. Summer couldn't hold it anymore she cried and hugged Felix next to her. He hugged her back tightly as they cried together.  Minho came behind her and rubbed her back.

"It's going to be okay you two. He's going to come back I know he will." Minho softly spoke.

She didn't talk much at all the rest of the day. She was scared too, because if she did she'd just start crying again. She laid on the couch with her head in Jisung's lap. She had her eyes closed just trying to think of anything but reality. Jisung brushed his fingers through her hair while he searched for something to watch on tv, also to take his mind off reality, "Is she sleeping?" Jeongin came into the room looking at her.

"I think so. I think she's tired from crying all morning. She really misses him." Jisung replied, still stroking her hair.

"Don't we all." Seungmin chimed in, " I wish I could be asleep like her right now, maybe I wouldn't have to be thinking about this." He slumped down on the couch next to her feet. I.N say on the floor infront of Summer, staring up at the tv.

She woke up to all the boys eating dinner at the table while she laid on the couch. Jisung's lap was replaced with a pillow at some point during her slumber. She sat up rubbing her eyes.

"Good morning sleeping beauty." Changbin joked, "Why don't you come eat something?"

"I don't feel like it." Was her only response. She walked to her room and threw herself on her bed.

"Should we be worried?" Minho whispered to Changbin and Chan.

"Not yet, if this keeps up for longer than a week or two then we're gonna need to start getting worried. But none of us are really feeling like doing anything besides sleeping. We all miss him tons, plus she's never been through this." Chan responded. Minho nodded in response. The boys continued their silent dinner.

"I'm going to go try to get Summer to eat something." Jeongin stood up and went to the kitchen to grab a plate for her. After about ten minutes, he came back with the plate still full and shook his head.

At that moment she just wanted to be in a coma and wake up whenever Hyunjin gets back. She never knew how big of an impact something like this could have on her. She knew he'd come back, but it still pained her so much to even think about someone saying Hyunjin, the Hwang Hyunjin, would bully them. He's a sweetheart. She couldn't wrap her mind around it.

From that day forward she barely ate. She slept a lot and when she was awake she went to the gym to get her feelings out. She barely talked to any of the boys. Only a simple 'Good morning' or 'Hi'. She talked to Jeongin and Seungmin the most, mostly telling them her feelings and how much she misses Hyunjin.

"How are you doing?" Seungmin walked into the room with Jeongin.

"I'm okay." She responded, she was just laying there, starting at the ceiling. She rolled over to look at both of them, "I wish I didn't feel like this." She mumbled.

"Summer it's okay, it's normal to be sad about this." Jeongin say next to her on her bed and rubbed her back.

"I know I just feel so useless now because I haven't been doing anything for you guys."

"You don't owe us anything." Seungmin walked over to the other two.

"I have to prove myself to Stay, that's what I owe." She sighed, "But I haven't been doing anything except going to the gym for days, you two are the only ones i've talked to. I guess you never know how much you really need someone until they're gone." Tears fell down her face. Jeongin continued to rub her back until she stopped crying. She fell asleep soon after that and the two boys went back out to the living room where everyone else was.

"She's not doing any better." Seungmin sadly walked over to the other boys.

"We don't know how to help her." Jeongin looked down as if he had let down everyone.
