"I can't believe that he's in here." I tell Tristan.
"I know, a similar thing happened to my grandfather. He's still going strong though." He says and laughs
"Thank you." I tell him and rest my head on his shoulder again.
"For what?" He asks
"For being here. For always being here. You know, with the pregnancy and everything." I reveal
"Tori, listen to me, I love you and our babies so much. I would never leave, I will always be here." He tells me and I kiss him.
Just then we see grandpa being brought out.
"How is he?" Mom asks as we start walking with the doctor.
"He's a little groggy right now."
"What's going on? How are the tests?" I question
"The doctor will have to tell you that. I'm just a transport guy."
"Well, when is the doctor coming out?" Mom asks
"I'm not sure, but you can go on with your dad until he gets here." The doctor says and follow him through to stay with grandpa, Tristan coming too.
"Hi grandpa." I say weakly, looking at him, sympathetically.
"Hello tori, Tristan." He greets
"You had us all so worried grandpa." I say
"Ahh, well, I didn't mean to."
"Do you want me to read the paper to you or something?" I ask him
"Yes please, Tori. But can I talk to you two for a minute."
"Yeah, sure."
"Listen, I've heard about the news. When the same thing happened to your mother, me and your grandmother were angry. But it turns out that you and Rory were the best thing that could happen to us. So, what I'm trying to say here, is congratulations you two. I can't wait to have a great grandchild." He says and smiles
"Thank you Mr Gilmore." Tristan says politely.
"Thank you grandpa, but, we actually have something else to tell you. I'm pregnant with twins." I tell him and smile back.
"Ahh, wonderful. Congratulations. And Tristan, call me Richard, you're like family now."
"Okay Richard, thank you."
Just then, Rory came in and we all got speaking. The two of us then started reading the newspaper to him.
"Hey babe, I have to get going now." Tristan whispers to me
"Okay baby, thank you for coming. It means a lot." I say as we walk out of the room.
"Bye Richard, I hope you feel better soon." Tristan says to grandpa. "Bye Rory."
"I'll see you on Monday. I love you." He tells me
"I love you too." I say and he walks away.
"Wait, Tristan." I shout and run up to him so I could kiss him.
"What was that for?" He asks
"A thank you, for everything." I reply
"Well in that case." He starts and kisses me. "That's a 'your welcome.'"
"I love you."
"I love you too."
I then go and find mom at the coffee machine.
