"So what if I know? So what if I don't know?" Lisa blinked and asked in confusion, "No matter what his status is, he's still my husband, isn't he?"
Seeing Lisa's stubborn look, Sana's eyes flashed with anger. Sana replied, "You have to understand that CEO Jeon can create a huge amount of wealth every minute and every second. Every decision he makes has a huge impact on the business world. A person like him is destined to sit in a high position and stir up trouble. He's not going to do such a small thing as cutting fruit plates to satisfy your appetite. It's a waste of his talent."
Sana was still brooding over the scene she saw in the morning.
"I want to ask you something. Don't you have any social life after work?" Lisa suddenly asked, "In your life, apart from work and study, is there nothing else? Friends? Family? Or lovers?"
Sana paused, her expression slightly stiff. She replied, "This has nothing to do with you."
"These things indeed have nothing to do with me, but I want you to understand that Jungkook is the same as you and me, the same as most people in this world. He's human." Lisa's expression turned cold, she looked at Sana. Then, she continued, "I don't know why you have such strange thoughts about Jungkook, but I want to remind you that Jungkook is not a machine. He has time to relax, he has his loved ones, family, and friends. He can't be like what you imagine, a machine that works continuously."
Lisa paused and raised her chin. She stared at Sana coldly and said, "I've never asked him to do anything. It's all up to him to do whatever he wants. As long as it's something he wants to do, it's never a waste of his time or abilities. He has his thoughts. He's not someone's puppet, and he's not the almighty deity in your mind either, Secretary-general Minatozaki."
"You're talking nonsense!" Sana's brows were tightly furrowed as if she had received a huge shock. Her expression went blank for a moment. Then, she said, "Wasting time on insignificant things is a waste of CEO Jeon's talent!"
"I've said it before. As long as it's something he wants to do, it's not a waste," Lisa said in a deep voice. "There's no rule that says talented people should work non-stop, just for the so-called ridiculous reason of not wasting their talents and abilities."
"My wife," Coincidentally, Jungkook came over to look for Lisa. He stood not far away and looked at Sana indifferently. Then, his gaze fell on Lisa with a subtle gentleness. He said, "It's time for lunch."
...
"Okay, I'll go over now," Lisa smiled. After waving her hand at Jungkook, she said to Sana, "Jungkook is a person, not a machine. No one has the right to use any reason to restrain him. He's a free and independent man." After saying that, she walked briskly towards Jungkook and the two of them left side by side.
From the back view, the two of them were a perfect match.
Sana stood where she was and she had an agonizing expression on her face.
"Sana." Jungkook suddenly stopped and turned his head. His dark eyes looked at her with a hint of coldness.
"CEO Jeon." Sana's throat was inexplicably tight.
"I don't think serving my wife is a waste of time," Jungkook said coldly. "I'm willing to do anything for my wife. I have my own life. As the secretary-general, you have interfered too much." After saying that, he took Lisa's hand and left in big strides, leaving Sana alone in a daze.
The next day, Lisa received countless stares as soon as she entered the school. After all, there were very few fierce people who caused trouble on the first day of school at Si Cheng High School. Along the way, there were complicated and indiscernible gazes.
Si Cheng High School did not emphasize on grades, but every test was stressful for the students. Lisa's deskmate was a young woman with a round face and she wore glasses. Her name was Park Rosè.
Rosè was not afraid of Lisa because of what happened yesterday. When Lisa sat down, she even carefully lowered her voice and took the initiative to speak to Lisa. She said, "Lalisa?" Although she was not afraid, her round little face was inevitably nervous.
Lisa was amused by her behavior. Lisa asked, "What's wrong?"
"I heard that you made a bet with Seulgi to see if you could get on the honor roll? Is that true?" Rosè, who had been a good child since childhood, looked at Lisa with a mixture of awe and admiration. "Are you sure you can get on the honor roll?"
"Even if I can't get on the honor roll, would Seulgi kick me out of the school?" Lisa shook her head in amusement. She continued, "I only said that I want to prove that I have the ability to stay in Si Cheng High School."
