"Do you think it's possible to take the waist in a bit?" Gia asks the shop attendant as she gives herself a scrutinized once over in the mirror.

You were accompanying Gia with her final fittings at the bridal shop. It was a tedious kind of day that was spent going over the finer details of her wedding. A good majority of the day was double checking if everything was in place for this weekend. You were just happy that she had calmed down after the flower arrangement debacle.

The shop attendant gives her a nod of acknowledgment before pulling out a measuring tape and some pins.

"You sure you want the bodice to hug you that tightly?" You ask her before the shop attendant could measure her.

Gia already had a tiny frame, couple that with her princess style dress, her waist will be practically nonexistent compared to the tulle that flares out from her hips. She looked beautiful, but you feared if she took it in the waist, she'd have issues eating in it, or worse, breathing comfortably.

Gia's brows pull together as she stares at her reflection. "I don't know..."

"Try and sit in it first before making any alterations." You suggest.

Gia nods and steps off the small podium to take a seat next to you. Hearing her gasp uncomfortably was enough of a tell that the dress is fine as is.

"You're right. I shouldn't take it in anymore." She chuckles, waving off the shop attendant who was about to help her stand. She sighs before saying, "I don't know why I'm so nervous."

You breathe out a laugh. "Weddings are stressful. It's like we're conditioned to make sure that everything goes perfectly, completely overlooking the fact that it's just another day except you're in a beautiful dress." You tell her gently, watching as your friend slowly begins to relax from your words.

Gia laughs. "Exactly!" Letting out another sigh, she adds, "I'll be happy if everything can happen on time. I purposely cut out so much from a traditional program because I don't want to spend a lot of time on the ceremony. I prefer the joys of the reception over the actual ceremony."

You giggle. "Now that you're feeling a little better, how's about we get some food for you? You're running on caffeine and wedding jitters." You suggest, a smile tugging at your lips.

Gia nods her response before being helped to her feet to change back into her clothes. You wait in the shop's lounge area, scrolling through your phone when you see Jin calling you.

"Hey!" You answer brightly.

"Oh good, I caught you. I was wondering if you were free for lunch? I have an hour to kill before my next meeting." You could hear the smile in his voice as he says this to you.

"Well, I'm actually with Gia and we were gonna grab some food from a restaurant near the bridal shop. You're more than welcome to join us." You offer.

"I don't wanna intrude on your friend time with her..." Jin replies, his sentence trailing off.
