The snow delicately falls from the skies as Y/n and Jimin make their way over the Ponte Vecchio. Y/n had been acting as Jimin's unofficial guide as she told him small historical details about the places they were passing through. Jimin listens to her speak without any interruption. He admires her enthusiasm, at how she was filled with life and excitement. Just a few months ago, things had been very different, but it's like she's finally shed that hardened shell away.

She looked happy, something Jimin was extremely proud of.

"This is where Chiara took me out for drinks during my first week here." She says cheerily while pointing to a quaint pub wedged between two jewelry shops.

The bridge was fairly crowded with tourists and, much like Jimin, were partaking in sightseeing. He had to keep close to Y/n's side to avoid bumping into other people trying to make their way through the area.

"Is it always this packed?" Jimin questions as he and Y/n walk side by side, making sure to not get whisked away or lost in the crowd.

She shrugs. "Not always, but since it is the holidays, a lot of people are doing some shopping." She explains before adding, "Chiara told me that during peak tourism season, the Ponte Vecchio becomes increasingly more crowded."

He smiles, one that's filled with amusement. He's said the words before, but still, it seems like those three words don't do any justice. How he feels extends beyond a declaration of words.

Y/n's cheeks heat up when she notices Jimin staring at her. "What are you staring at?" She asks softly while ducking her head.

The two had turned off the Ponte Vecchio, entering a more open area that overlooked the body of water that ran beneath the bridge.

"Don't do that." Jimin murmurs softly, his hand coming up to caress her cheek. She flushes at the contact. "Just—let me take a good look at you." He says while tilting her face up to get a better look at her face.

There was something endearing about Y/n getting shy around him. Jimin enjoyed the bashful expression that heats up her face whenever he looks at her. It's like the first time they both realized they had feelings for one another.

Jimin fell first, of course. He was certain he had loved her since the beginning, but now, as they've overcome the obstacles tossed their way, Jimin's experiencing the weight of his feelings. It felt infinite and unending.

"Stop, it's embarrassing." She murmurs while bringing up her hands to hide her face.

Jimin chuckles. "I just," He exhales a content sigh. "I love you, Y/n."

She peeks from behind her hands, starry eyes blinking back at him. "And I love you." She warmly replies.

Jimin takes a step closer to her, hands making their way to her waist. They both were bundled up to keep warm, but in this moment, the warm feeling that radiated through his entire body came from how he felt about Y/n. He holds her gaze, which seems to dance between warm content and growing anticipation.
