The party all stood behind a wall in Dustin's living room waiting to surprise him, Arwen led a line of his toys and action figures with her powers from his room to where they were as the group all smiled at each other, "now." Max whispered to Arwen and she stopped, Max took the lead and walked into the living room behind Dustin who was looking at all of his action figures on the floor in confusion, Max counted down from three on her fingers and they all blew the party horns, what they were not expecting was for Dustin to turn around and spray Lucas with Fawcett spray.
"Oh my god!" Arwen looked at Max then back to Lucas, "well that wasn't expected."

Max helped Lucas out with his little eye problem in the kitchen whilst Dustin shower Mike, Will and Arwen the gadgets he built at camp know where, "I call it the forever clock, see. Powdered by wind, very useful in the apocalypse." He held it up and spun the back round before hanging it to Will so he could pick something else up, "then I give you, the slammer." He held it right up to Arwens face, "okay maybe not that close Dustin."

"Where's El by the way? She's missing out on all this cool shit I made."

"That's a great question Dustin, where is El Mike?" Arwen folded her arms and looked at Mike who scowled at her, "you know what? You can tell me later this is what I wanted to show you all, this is my masterpiece." He threw a duffel bag onto the floor and opened it, "I would like you to meet, cerebro."

"What exactly are we looking at here?" Mike asked, Dustin explained but Arwen completely switched off, "this baby carries a crystal clear connection over vast distances, I'm talking North Pole to south, I can talk to my girlfriend whenever and wherever I choose."

"Girlfriend?!" They all said in unison.

"What's going on?" Max said from the kitchen, "we're going to talk to Dustin's girlfriend." Will smirked, "girlfriend?!"

"Aren't we high enough?" Lucas complained as they all walked up the never ending hill, "it works best at a hundred metres."

"Why don't you just call her on an actual telephone?" Arwen asked, "she's Mormon."

"Oh shit she doesn't have electricity?" Lucas questioned, "that's the Amish." Max replied, "what are Mormons?" Will asked, "super religious white people, they have electricity in cars and stuff but since I'm not Mormon her parents would never approve. It's all a bit Shakespearean." Arwen let out a laugh and Max shoved her, "Shakespearean?"

"Yeah Romeo and Juliet."

"Ah yes because that worked out so well for them." Arwen laughed and Dustin turned back, "what? I wouldn't kill myself for a man."

"What does that have to do with me and Suzie?"

"I don't know is she suicidal?"

"Arwen!" Wills eyes widened, "you have absolutely no filter." Arwen grinned back.

"Hey guys! This is fun and all but I have to go home, my dinners ready." Mike yelled from further down the hill then ran off, Dustin looked down at his watch, "dinner at four? What the hell is this?"

"He's been like this all summer, taking shots at everyone." Arwen explained, "now El hasn't been coming out these last couple of days because of a comment he made to me that she took to heart as-well which I don't even blame her for."

"Why can't we just play d&d." Will whined and threw down one of the duffel bags, Arwen gave him a small smile and placed her hand on his shoulder, "we'll be able to play d&d soon Will, promise." She smiled again then turned around to see Lucas chugging down all of the water, "you cannot be serious right now?" They all looked at him and he spat some of it back in the bottle to hand it to them, Arwen grabbed it and poured it on his head, "asshole." Max and Will burst out laughing.

They all worked together to put the cerebro together and managed to get it standing in the ground, "pretty awesome right? Now are you ready to meet my love?"

"Mkay sure." Max mumbled along with everyone else, "Suzie? This is Dustin, do you copy? Over. One sec she's probably- she's still there. Suzie, it's Dustin, do you copy? Over." He kept trying then looked up at us, "I'm sure she's there, right? It's just- you know maybe she's busy or- it's around dinner time here." He shrugged then tried her again, "Suzie it's Dustin, over."

The sun started setting and it was getting dark, the group were starting to get really impatient but wanted to be there for Dustin as long as they could, Arwen rested her head on Max's shoulder and felt her eyes getting heavy, "hey, stay awake." Max checked to see if anyone was looking before planting a kiss on Arwen's forehead, "Dustin come on! She's not there."

"She's there alright, she'll pick up." He defended himself, "maybe cerebro doesn't work." Will suggested, "or maybe she doesn't exist!" Lucas sat up, "she exists!"

"She's a genius and hotter than phoebe Cates? No girl is that perfect."

"Max is." Arwen admitted then realised what she said, "well you suddenly woke up." Max smirked at Arwen then stood up and put her hand out for her to hold, "come on, sorry Dustin but me and Arwen need to go, she was practically falling asleep a second ago." They ran down the hill and headed back to Max's house.
