It was the day after Will's birthday and also the second to last day before spring break, Arwen had managed to calm Max down after they left the party but Arwen seriously had some apologising to do.

"What are you listening to?" Arwen smiled as her and Max walked off the bus, "Kate bush." She replied bluntly, Arwen just nodded her head as they walked into the hallway she instantly went to look for Will whilst Max walked over to her locker not wanting to talk to anyone.

"Will! There you are."
"Hey Wennie what's up?" He smiled, "you're not mad? I am so sorry for leaving like that, Max was crying outside and I had to take her back to my house." She explained, "slow down Wen, it's okay I understand."
"I promise I'll make it up to you." She pulled him into a hug, "I feel awful."
"Please don't, I promise you it's okay." He reassured her.

"I talked to Will about leaving the party yesterday and he's completely okay with it so you don't have to worry anymore." Arwen walked up to Max's locker smiling, "thanks." She replied, not looking up, Arwen's smile dropped once she was what Max was doing behind her locker door, "woah max stop, you're munching on those like they're candy." Arwen pulled the painkillers away from her, "I have a headache."
"Again?" She nodded her head as the bell rang, "got to go." Max slammed her locker shut and put her Walkman back on, walking away.

"Arwen!" Once class was over, Mike ran over to Arwen out of breath making her laugh, "you okay Mike?" She smiled, "uh yeah I'm fine but I thought you should know that Max had a nose bleed in class, it's probably nothing but with everything that's going on with her I thought I should let you know." He said in between breaths, "oh god- thank you for letting me know, I'll talk to her."

"Hey baby can I talk to you about something?" Arwen walked up to Max who had her Walkman on again, "hi." She replied with the same blunt tone as earlier but Arwen just ignored it for now, "are you feeling okay? Because Mike told me that you had a nose bleed in class earlier." Arwen explained, Max's face expressions turned bitter making Arwen afraid of how she was going to react, she hadn't been herself in a month, "Mike told you?! Why are you listening to Mike all of a sudden?"

"What? I'm not, it's just you've been acting distant for a month now and I'm worried if there's something wro-"
Max quickly cut her off, "you wanna know what's wrong with me? I don't want to be with you. Infact I haven't loved in you in months and its been making me miserable." She blurted out all at once leaving Arwen in complete confusion and shock, "you don't mean that." Arwen laughed nervously, "I really do. Just...leave me alone."
Arwen felt her stomach completely drop, she was in complete disbelief.

Arwen ran out of school to behind the gym with tears blurring her vision when she bumped into someone, "woah- hey are you okay?" Lucas held her arms and saw she was crying, Arwen looked up at him completely heartbroken and pulled the back of his head closer to her face, pressing a kiss on his lips, "I'm sorry." She pulled away, "no it's okay, but I thought- you and Max." He questioned, "can we not talk about her right now?" Arwen leaned into for another kiss which he accepted.
