"Holy shit." Dustin said as the group was stood in front of the high school, "right. We got on the bus, we've stood in front of the school, can we leave now?" Arwen looked at everyone who nodded nervously, "watch it bitch." Some girl shoved past Arwen, catching the groups attention, "Arwen don't." Will said but she didn't listen, "bag your face asshole." Arwen replied, the girl turned around, looking her up and down, "what did you just say to me?"
"I said bag your face asshole." She flipped her off, now shoving past her, the party followed her laughing whilst Dustin quietly apologised to the girl on behalf of Arwen, "the fucking audacity." Arwen mumbled, Max came to her side, putting her arm around her, "god I hate high school." She scoffed, "why was she so mean?" El asked, "some people are just assholes El."

"Hey! You're here!" Steve saw them and walked over to the party with Robin, Nancy, Jonathon, "how is it so far?" Nancy asked, her attention went onto Arwen who had her arms crossed and a frown on her face "are you okay Arwen?"
"Some girl has already been rude to me."
"Oh my god are you okay?" Robin interrupted, "I think you need to ask the other girl if she's okay." Lucas laughed, "right." Steve smiled at Arwen, then put his arm around her, "making me proud already."

"Making us proud you mean?" Robin interjected, putting her arms on the other side of Arwen, "you're making your mother cry Arwen." Robin looked at Steve,
"Just so proud." Steve pretended to wipe a tear from his eye making Arwen laugh, "Nancy." Jonathon mumbled but grabbed the attention of everyone else too, "we'll be right back." Nancy put on a smile which only the girls knew was fake.

"What's going on with Nancy and Jonathon?" Dustin turned to Mike and Will, "I don't know they've been arguing non stop." Will replied, "wait really?!" Robin replied a little bit too enthused earning a nudge from Arwen, "yeah, I have no idea what's going on though."

Arwen listened to the group talking but realised Max wasn't by her side anymore, "Max?" She noticed her stood by a locker that had a bunch of teddy bears, pictures and flowers by it then realised. It was Billy's, "his locker." Max mumbled, not taking her eyes off it, Arwen put her arms around Max's shoulder and signalled for the group to come over, "I'm so sorry Max I completely forgot to tell you this was here." Steve said, "it's fine Steve, I knew there would be something like this I just didn't think it would be this big of a deal."

"You know people really liked him." Steve added, thinking it would comfort her, only the girls knew what hell Billy put Max through though, "too bad they only saw half of what he was like." She whispered, a single tear falling down her cheek.
Suddenly the bell rang and everyone made their way to class, unfortunately Arwen and Max weren't in first period together, she was with Mike and Lucas whilst Arwen was with Will, Dustin and El, "I'll see you after class okay?"
"Okay." She kissed her and walked through the hallway, "cool shirt." A guy with long curly hair walked past Arwen and pointed to her Metallica shirt, "thanks, cool hair." She said, "what's the hellfire club?" She looked to his shirt, he also looked down and smirked, "ever heard of d&d?"
"Yes! I only grew up playing that game, I'm in a party actually, we don't play it as much now though."

"Well my friend, you should think about joining hellfire, I usually wouldn't let outsiders join but you seem cool, my names Eddie by the way." He smiled and brought some of his hair up to his mouth, "oh my god the Eddie?!" Her mouth opened, "you heard of me? You may have seen my band-"

"Yeah, no." She laughed which made him grin and point at her, "yeah I like you, you're funny and short." He said making Arwen furrow her eyebrows, "wait I didn't catch your name."
"Arwen." She walked away before he said anything else.

After class Arwen rushed to the hallway to find Max, she couldn't stand even spending an hour away from her, she felt like she was constantly worrying. Arwen stood by her locker which was next to Max's class and saw they hadn't been let out yet so she just idled about waiting for her girlfriend, when Robin caught her attention, "why do you keep staring at Nancy?" Arwen walked up to Robin then at Nancy who was putting things in her locker on the other side of the hall, "what? I'm not!" She laughed defensively, "you totally were."
"I was just looking- at her uh hair! Yeah her hair it looks nice today that's all and you know I'm thinking of changing the style of mine and since hers looks nice I was thinking of doing something similar, not that her hair only looks nice today I mean it looks nice everyday but-"
"Robin!"
"Yeah?"
"Relax, I'm not interrogating you or anything." Arwen chuckled, "right." Robin laughed along awkwardly, "Hi Rob." Nancy walked past the girls, "oh hi Nance!" Robin practically shouted causing Arwen's eyes to widen, "well you played that cool." She smirked, "ugh." Robin flopped her head back into the locker, "oh my girlfriends out of class got to go!" Arwen jumped up smiling and ran over to her, "must be nice." Robin muttered under her breath.

"Hi! You look so pretty." Arwen embraced Max in a hug, "you're perfect Wen." Max smiled, "was class okay?"
Arwen nodded, "yeah it was good, how was yours?"
"It was okay." She shrugged then winced in pain,  placing her fingers on her temple, "hey are you okay?!" Arwen held onto her arm, "yeah- yeah I'm fine, just a headache."
"Do you need medicine? I think I have some in my locker."
"No it's okay. I'm fine, really Arwen."
