"Guys I think she's waking up." Steve said, they had carried Arwen into Mike's basement and laid her on the couch once they had gotten back, she had been unconscious for about thirty minutes, thankfully, her eyes started to flicker open, "oh thank god." Robin breathed out. Max immediately came to her side, placing her hand on Arwen's forehead, "Arwen." Max whispered, "what happened?" Her voice was all groggy and her eyes were still adjusting to the light, "you passed out." Nancy said, "h-how long?"

"About thirty minutes." Robin replied, Arwen sat up quickly and looked at Dustin, "whoa steady." Steve warned, "I told them." Dustin revealed to her, she immediately gave the group a worried look, "we're not mad." Nancy quickly reassured her but she really only cared about Max's reaction, "I'm not mad either." Max confirmed knowing that's what Arwen was worried about, "I'm so sorry I didn't tell you guys- I just- I didn't want there to be more things to think about and-"

"Arwen calm down okay? Of course we wish you told us but we also understand why you would want to keep it to yourself." Max comforted her, "all that matters is we know now." Nancy affirmed, "and we can help you both." Robin added.

"When- when did the headaches start?" Nancy asked, "um four days ago..."
"You're not far off Max." Robin stated, "which means the visions are going to start soon." Max finished, Arwen look down awkwardly, "unless- have you had any yet?"

"No- but...I have heard him." She admitted, receiving concerned looks from the group, "what did he say?" Dustin asked, "it wasn't anything big but before we went into Victor Creel's house, I heard my name and I thought it was one of you at first but then I heard him again." She turned to Dustin, "when you found me in the hall I heard him say 'you can't block me out Arwen.'"
"I heard him a day before I got my first vision..." Max interjected, "can I talk to you?" Arwen asked Max who nodded her head and led the way upstairs into the empty kitchen, "come right back!" Nancy yelled from downstairs.

"I can't believe you're cursed too." Max said with tears in her eyes, "really? Because I can." Arwen let out a small laugh, "I'm sorry..."
"No- don't apologise, I'm sorry, coping with humour again I guess. So the thing I wanted to talk to your about is uh...remember Steve's party last year? When I told you that everyone thought he was so great." Arwen started, "yeah and you told me to not listen to anything you say when you're drunk..." Max finished her sentence, "that's because I didn't want anyone to know that he- he um wasn't exactly a good dad." Arwen took a deep breath, "he used to drink a lot and when he did he would get really angry." She started to tear up along with Max, "he would...take it out on my mom and sometimes me. My mom had to lock me in my room for hours just to keep me away from him." She managed to finish her sentence without bursting into tears, Max listened carefully to every painful word, "oh." Her voice cracked, "Arwen I- I cannot believe you had to go through that by yourself- I had no idea...I am so sorry." Tears rolled down both of their cheeks and Max quickly pulled her into a hug, "I'm so sorry." She kept repeating in her ear, "you're so strong."

"The nightmares um-" Arwen pulled away to look at Max again, "they haven't been about my dad dying it's been about that and it's like every time, they get worse and worse and they always end the same way." She explained through her shaky voice, "can you show me the nightmares you've been having?" Max hesitantly asked. "Are you sure?" Max nodded her head and closed her eyes, Arwen placed out her hand to Max and started using her powers to relay her last nightmare.

"Arwen honey, go upstairs please." Rachel warned as Arwen was about to walk into the living room, "why?" Jesse let out a mocking laugh, "you're not letting me see her now? I'm her fucking father." He spat, slurring his words, "Jesse-" Rachel came up to him but he pushed her out of the way causing Arwen to gasp, "Mom!" She went to run to Rachel who was now unconscious on the floor, "leave her." He scoffed, "it's her fault anyway!" He got up and stormed over to her with his hand up in the air, "dad! Stop! Dad!" Arwen screamed, "it will all be over soon Arwen." He walked slowly towards her, all of a sudden his appearance changed. It was Vecna, "Max, what are you doing in here?"
Max suddenly opened her eyes crying and fell into Arwen's arms, "I had no idea." She cried out, "Max." Arwen said worriedly but she was too in shock to answer, "he knew I was there." She suddenly let out, "what? Who?!"
"Vecna." Max let out, "holy shit."

"What's going on? Max are you okay?!" Nancy and Robin ran over to the girls who were sat on the kitchen floor, "yeah." She rapidly wiped her tears, "just can't believe Arwen has this stupid curse aswell."

"Everything will work out." Nancy reassured, "we promise." Robin added and the girls nodded their heads.

Nancy stood up and walked over to the kitchen counter leaving Robin with the girls, "have you told her yet?" Arwen whispered, changing the subject making Max smirk, "told who what?" Robin sceptically asked, "that you're madly in love with Nancy?" They both laughed, Robin widened her eyes, and looked over to see if Nancy had heard "I am not in love with her I don't even like her in that way."

"Sure." Max winked, "shut up." Robin folded her arms and sulked, "even if I was- she doesn't like girls." Robin said sadly, "who doesn't like girls?" Nancy asked, walking back over, they all widened their eyes and looked to each other, "uh- Will!" Arwen quickly came up with, "well we know that." Nancy laughed, "Arwen I made you some food." She went to hand her a plate, "um I'm not hungry." She bit on her nail, "come on, you keep saying that." Nancy argued, "Arwen, you have to eat something." Max interjected, "I said I'm not hungry!" Arwen stood up and stormed off back into the basement.
