70. 𝑻𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒐𝒔.

Chapter 70~ Town chaos.

"No- no way you're driving." They all followed Arwen through the house, "you got a better idea?" She questioned, "she's not a terrible driver." Max defended, "are we just forgetting about the noise we heard?" Will asked, "no- we're not." El said, "can you all just shut up?!" Mike hissed as he opened the door and revealed what was behind it, all of the party's eyes suddenly widened, "oh my fucking god." Dustin and Arwen said in unison, they all slowly backed up trying not to make a sound, "I don't think this can be hidden from the town anymore." Will said, everyone nodded nervously, "what the fuck is happening?!" Lucas questioned, "same thing that's been happening five years." Arwen replied with a heavy breath, "uh guys- I think he heard us." El said nervously.

"Okay- okay let's not freak out yet, it's only one demodog, it's like when I found Dart." Dustin tried to reassure the group, "are you seriously comparing this to that?!" Mike questioned, "this is a fully grown demodog." Lucas said, "and there's probably more." Will added, "okay shut up!" Dustin cut them off, "we need weapons." He said before grabbing a bat from the side of the garage, "seriously?" Max questioned, "hey can I see that?" Arwen asked, pointing to the bat to which he passed it to her, "thanks." She started walking towards the demodog, "wait wait wait." Lucas said, "what the hell are you doing?!" Mike questioned, "Arwen stop." Max warned, "holy shit this is the junk yard all over again." Dustin whispered, "what? What happened at the junk yard?" Mike asked, "doesn't matter right now, Arwens about the to herself killed!" Max shouted.

"Guys shut up." Arwen whispered as she got closer to the demodog that was currently distracted by something else, "hey!" She shouted towards the creature making the group worry, "Arwen this is a terrible idea!" Dustin shouted but it was too late. The demodog came charging towards her at full speed, she lifted the bat up ready and swung for its head, completely knocking it out at the first hit, "holy shit!" They all gasped but Arwen wasn't done. She ran over to it and lifted the bat up again before smashing its head in, "she's fucking insane." Lucas said to the group, once they were sure the thing was dead Max relaxed a little, "thanks for killing my dad before I could asshole!" Arwen shouted, still hitting the demodog, "I mean he is here so you could technically-" Dustin started, "Dustin!" Will cut him off but Arwen didn't even hear it because she was still hitting the demodog, "okay- Arwen, I think it's dead." Mike stated, "look there's chunks of it on the floor." Lucas pointed, "what if that was actually Dart?" Dustin said making the group audibly sigh.

"Okay." Arwen finally turned to the group with a satisfied smile on her face, "we can go now." She dropped the bat and started walking to Nancy's car, "that was hot." Max quickly stated.

"I still don't know about you driving." Dustin stated, "I told you I had an idea and we can't exactly walk." Arwen said, "you can't drive Nancy's car, she will kill you." Mike warned, "yes she will, she likes me more than you plus we're going to her them anyway." Arwen said, "can you even think legally drive?!" He questioned, "you know I can't technically and or legally drive but the towns in chaos, what's a little illegal driving?" Arwen got into the car with Max hopping into the passenger seat, "It's illegal." Lucas stated, "so? Are you getting in or not?" Arwen asked, "alright, yeah." He shrugged, "I don't feel safe." Mike said, "you feel any safer out here with the demodogs?" El questioned, "I think the question is, are the demodogs safe out here with Arwen." Dustin laughed, "fine." Mike sighed and got in along with everyone else.

"Can everyone get off the fucking road!" Arwen huffed, "hey! Move!" She honked the horn, "Arwen just chill." Lucas said, "no! Why is everyone outside?" She questioned, "I mean, there are Demodogs running around the town." Dustin stated, "there was literally one and I killed it." She carried on driving, finally getting past the crowd, "looks like people are leaving." Will observed as people were filling up their cars with luggage, "yeah and we're left to deal with alternative dimension monsters and shit like always." Mike scoffed.

"OH MY FUCKING GOD!" Arwen suddenly screamed and rapidly swerved the car, "there's a fucking demodog on the car!" She screamed again, "holy fuck!" Arwen and Max's eyes widened as they all screamed, "oh my god!" Dustin and Max screamed, "get it off the windshield!!" Lucas shouted, "how?!" Arwen asked as they all screamed and freaked out, "wait!" Arwen turned on her windscreen wipers, "what the hell is that going to do?!" Will screamed, "wait- wait maybe it's Dart!" Dustin said making everyone groan, "shut up Dustin!" Arwen shrilled, "Arwen there's still a demodog on the fucking car!" Mike stated, "stop shouting! What the hell do you want me to do!" Arwen yelled, "drive! Drive! Just drive!" They all screamed in unison, "okay okay okay!" Arwen shouted back.

Arwen tried to calm her heavy breathing as they were now clear of the demodog, "so I guess there's more than one." She said, "yeah." They all nodded, "turn on the radio." El instructed, "okay." Arwen turned it on and out of touch by Daryl Hall and John Oates came on to which Arwen started bopping her head and singing, "you're out of touch, I'm out of touch."

"Arwen!" Mike yelled, "El meant turn it onto the news channel." He said, "fine." She huffed.

"At this time, we are enforcing for everyone to stay in their houses." Officer Powells voice sounded on the radio, "there have been reports of dogs with rabies-" Arwen instantly turned off the radio, "what the fuck- dogs with rabies? That's what their conclusion is?!" She said, "they think that those things are dogs?" Max furrowed her eyebrows, "I mean...they're technically not wrong." Lucas stated, "what? Because they're called demodogs?" Mike questioned, "that's just a name Dustin gave them." He carried on.
