33. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒃.

Chapter 33~ The hellfire club.

"And there there's Heidi but the problem with Heidi is that she's going out of state of college so it's like do I really wanna start another relationship that has no point other than sex? I mean- I just, I don't know does any of that make sense to you?" Steve blabbered on whilst he was driving Robin and Arwen to school, "Robin, Arwen! Are you listening to me?" He turned to both of them whilst Arwen was practically sleeping and Robin was doing her makeup in the mirror, "yeah- yeah I am- I'm listening."

"I'm not." Arwen bluntly stated, "what did I say? What did I just say?" Steve raised his voice,
"something about sex-" Robin turned to Arwen who just shrugged her shoulders, "with- with Linda."
"No! I'm talking about Heidi!"
"Steve relax, there's more pressing issues here like Robin, why are you so worried about what you look like all of a sudden?" Arwen smirked,
"Are you saying I don't put effort into my appearance?" She furrowed her eyebrows, "you don't" Steve added, "oh- no I mean you're effortlessly hot but you don't usually worry this much."

"Woah careful there one with the girlfriend." Steve laughed, Arwen's face instantly dropped, "don't think that's a problem anymore." She mumbled, "Wait what?!" Steve and Robin said in unison as Steve slammed the breaks, they both turned around to look at her, "you and Max broke up? Oh my god." Robin placed her hand on Arwen's knee, "well when she said she hasn't loved me in months, I think I got the message loud and clear."

"That is such a lie." Steve said, "I don't think she meant that." Robin added, "whatever. Even if she didn't, she still said it and I would prefer if you didn't make excuses for her."
"Sorry."
"Yeah sorry, do you need a tissue? Are you going to cry?" Steve went to rummage through the glove box, "no." Arwen said bluntly, "are you high right now?" Robin asked, getting closer to Arwen's face, "yep."
"Arwen this is not like you." Steve gave her the disappointed mom look he did.
"A little weed isn't a big deal."

"Pep rally! Pep rally!" Students chanted as Steve pulled up in the parking lot, Arwen shut the door and put her Walkman straight on trying to drown out the sound of teenagers at seven in the morning. 

"Kyle, good to see you." Arwen noticed Ms. Kelley stood near the busses greeting students, "hey, Josh. To the gym, everyone. To the gym. To the gym! Hi amber." Arwen quickly tried to slip by without her noticing, "Arwen!" But it was too late, "yeah?" She removed her headphones, "you're the second student I missed yesterday, could you come by my office today after lunch?" She asked with an enthusiastic smile which put Arwen in an even worse mood, "mhm." She mumbled then heard Ms. Kelley shout to another student, "Max! Max!" Arwen's eyes averted to Max who was stepping off the bus with her Walkman on too, she quickly rushed to the gym not wanting to make eye contact with her, "Where were you yesterday?" Ms. Kelley asked her, "oh! Yeah. Sorry, I forgot it was Thursday."
"Well I'd like to see you today. Come straight after lunch, okay?" Max didn't reply, she just raised her eyebrows and put her Walkman back on to head to the gym.

Music played throughout the gym as students were gathering in, "look I'm not saying my girlfriend is better than yours, it's just that Suzie's like, a certified genius." Dustin said to Mike as Arwen walked up and stood next to the party minus Lucas and Max, "hey Wen." Will smiled, she nodded her head and looked forward causing the group to exchange looks, "why do people take so long to walk into a hall? I'll be right back." Arwen huffed and walked down to where Nancy was standing with a notebook in her hands, "Arwen! Robin told me what happened I am so sorry." She pulled her in for a hug, usually people comforting her when she was upset about something would make her burst into tears but after the whole kiss with Lucas she went straight to Eddie to buy weed so it helped, sort of. "Yeah it's okay."
