Chapter 68~ Pep rally resurrection.

Lover's Lake. I guess you could say it was one of Hawkin's land marks...but since the death of Patrick, it was known amongst many for all the wrong reasons. Many believed it to now be cursed by the devil. It was now 3am and the residents of Hawkin's were all safely locked away in their houses, not knowing what was happening as they slept. Water had began slowly draining from the Lake, trees began collapsing around it and the ground surrounding it began cracking.

Arwen rapidly gasped for air as she suddenly sat up in bed, she felt like her throat had completely closed over as she went to get Max's attention but quickly realising, she wasn't in the comfort of her own bedroom. This room was filled with cobwebs, dirt, old furniture, it was dark and cold...With a heavy breath, Arwen managed to get out of the bed, falling to her knees in the process. Slowly regaining her balance, she went to the door and opened it only enough to see through it and quickly realising. She was in Victor Creel's house.

"No!" An ear piercing scream sounded through the house making Arwen wince, she immediately covered her ears and squeezed her eyes tightly shut.

"Ugh the pep rally's today." A familiar voice said causing Arwen's eyes to open again, only this time she was relieved with what she saw, "Max." She let out a sigh of relief, "are you okay Wen?" She asked, "mhm- yeah, so excited for the pep rally." She fake smiled making Max slightly suspicious, "you hate pep rally's." She laughed, "I just have a feeling this one will be fun."

"Oh my god have you seen that new film Pretty in pink, it's got Molly Ringwald in it." Max asked Arwen as they were sat eating breakfast, "of course I have, it's Molly Ringwald." Arwen smirked making Max roll her eyes, "can you hurry up with your breakfast so we can go to the pep rally?" Max asked in a fake enthusiastic voice, "I'm finished, I'm just gonna go to the bathroom before we leave." Arwen said before rushing off.

Once she came back, Max noticed how pale Arwen looked...now that she realised, she had been for weeks, after every meal she would leave for the bathroom, act weird around certain foods, wear baggier clothes. Max couldn't help but observe Arwen, her eyes traveled down and noticed her hands.

"Hey what's on your hand?" Max abruptly took hold of it making Arwen gasp, "It's nothing." Arwen quickly pulled her hand away, "they look like teeth marks-" Max grabbed it firmer this time, "Max let go!" Arwen raised her voice, "no Arwen! What have you done-" Max's eyes widened with realisation, "Arwen...have you been making yourself sick?" She lowered her voice but Arwen stayed silent, "you have." Max confirmed with Arwen's silence.

"Oh my god- this is why you've been leaving for the bathroom after every meal...how did I not notice?" Max went on as Arwen looked down to the floor, "what- why have you?..."

"Yeah." Arwen let out, "god- Arwen." Max empathetically sighed under her breath, "why have you been doing this to yourself?" She gently asked, "I don't want to." Arwen suddenly cried, instantly making Max feel terrible, "what do you mean Arwen?!" Max placed her arms on Arwens and looked her in the eyes, "it's like I can't help it."

"What do you- what do you mean?" She questioned on further, "it's like somethings making me do this...this isn't something I would do." Arwen said quietly, "like somethings making you do this?..." Max repeated, having a realisation half way through the sentence, "like-"

"I don't know." Arwen quickly cut her off, "I've been seeing things..." she finally admitted making Max's concern pretty much sky rocket, "Arwen what have you been seeing?" Max asked slowly, Arwen took a deep breath before answering, "I've been seeing things like...car crashes, the visions of my dad have started again and suddenly I'm making myself throw up after eating- I don't know what it means."
