Chapter 44~ Marked for death.

"That's Dr. Brenner." Arwen whispered as her and Nancy were now seeing Hawkins lab, "all done now. See, there's nothing to be afraid of. Is there, girls?" Their eyes suddenly widened as Dr. Brenner turned to them, his iris's were covered in grey like there was no life behind his eyes, "why don't you take a seat." He said in a distorted voice, "Nancy?" Arwen said quietly, "yeah?"

"Run." They both ran out of the door into the flashing hallway, "no!" A scream echoed throughout the building scaring them even more, "oh my god." Arwen gasped at the sight of all the dead bodies along the hallway as the screaming carried on, "this way!" Nancy yelled over the loud screams, they kept running along the hall until they reached a dead end that had pieces of wood nailed into the door, "what do we do?" The girls panicked, Nancy looked to Arwen before trying to break the wood down, "Nancy, Arwen." A voice spoke from behind, they slowly turned around to see Vecna. Walking slowly along the hall, "holy shit." Arwen breathed out, "what are you doing?" He walked closer as they stared in shock, "it's not time for you to leave."
Nancy gasped and went back to pulling the wood out of the door whilst Arwen watched in panic as Vecna got closer, "it's not fucking working." Nancy yelled, "now that you've seen where I've been...I would like very much to show you where I am going." He explained, "got it!" Nancy opened the door and grabbed Arwen's hand to pull her in but they weren't safe, "take a seat, girls." Dr. Brenner said.

Suddenly the room went dark and when the lights came back on they were both strapped to chairs with the black vines holding them down, "Nancy!" Arwen cried, "it's okay, it's okay." Nancy tried to stay calm for them both but there was only so much she could say.

Vecna was now back in the room and inching closer to Nancy and Arwen, they tried to get themselves out of the vines but nothing worked, he got closer to Nancy and spoke to her specifically, "I want you to tell Eleven. I want you to tell her. Everything you see." He put his hand up to her head causing Arwen to scream, "Nancy! Stop it!" Arwen cried out, "tell her."
"No!" Nancy screamed, "no!"
"Everything."

Arwen suddenly let out a gasp and fell to the floor, "Arwen!" Max suddenly caught her limp body as she tried to catch her breath, "whoa, whoa, whoa." Lucas came to her other side, "it's okay, it's okay, it's okay." Max placed her hand on Arwen's head, tears were escaping her eyes and pure fear was written all over her face, "is Nancy awake?!" Dustin shouted through the portal, "yeah, yeah she- she's awake." He saw Steve holding her the same way Max was holding Arwen, "I'm right here Arwen okay? I'm right here." Max kept repeating, "I'm so sorry." Lucas let out, blaming himself for what happened.

Once Nancy and Arwen had calmed down the best they could under these circumstances. Everyone gathered around whilst the girls slowly tried to explain what happened, Arwen hadn't spoken a word since, so Nancy took the lead, "he showed me...things that haven't happened yet. The most awful things." Nancy whispered with tears escaping onto her cheeks, "I saw...a dark cloud. Spreading over Hawkins. Downtown was on fire, dead soldiers and this...giant creature with a gaping mouth and- and this creature wasn't alone. There was so many monsters, an army and they were coming into Hawkins. Into our neighbourhoods. Our homes and then...he showed me my mom." Her voice cracked, "and Holly, Mike. And they...they were all." She started crying, not being able to finish her sentence, Robin quickly came to her side and comforted her, "okay, but...he's just trying to scare you, Nance. Right? I mean it's not real and he only showed you, not Arwen, what did you see?" Steve turned to her.
