"No he literally ran out of class after and punched the lockers it was so funny." Max told Arwen a story whilst they were eating dinner before the party, "so the door literally fell off the hinges? What did the teacher say?" Arwen laughed, "the teacher didn't know, some guy held it up then placed it against the wall it was so funny." Max laughed so hard that tears were rolling down her cheeks.

"What's so funny?" Rachel came into the kitchen smiling, "Max was just telling me something that happened today in her class." Arwen replied, "I won't ask any further questions." Rachel grinned, "you girls need me to drive you to the party?" She asked,"no thanks mom, Nance is picking us up." Arwen smiled, "okay well I'm going to Joyce's tonight so if you need me, call the Byers number."
"Okay mom."

"Have you two eaten enough?" Rachel asked, "yeah." Max and Arwen said in unison, "I'm just gonna go to the bathroom then we can wait outside for Nance." Arwen said before rushing out of the kitchen.

Once Arwen was in the bathroom she immediately ran to the toilet to throw up as quietly as she could. She knew she would have to find a new way around this because for the last two weeks, she had been sneaking off after every meal and people were bound to start getting suspicious.

Max and Arwen sat outside on the side walk, waiting for Nancy and Robin to pick them up when two cars suddenly came from both sides of the road, one speeding way quicker than the other, when the other swerved all of a sudden and crashed into the front of the other one. Shards of glass and fumes went up into the air and the passenger of the crashed car was visibly injured, maybe even dead.

"Arwen?" Max snapped her fingers in front of her face causing Arwen shake her head, "you okay?" Max placed her arm around Arwen, "yeah...sorry, just daydreaming." She smiled.

"So does your mom know you two are engaged yet?" Nancy smirked, "absolutely not." Arwen laughed, "no parents need to know." Max added making Robin abruptly turn around, "but why? You two are cute together, I'm sure they wouldn't care." She argued, "Robin, we're barely eighteen, they would care." Max stated.

"Hey are you feeling okay?" Robin asked Arwen who's eyes widened, "uh- yeah of course." She fake smiled, "you just look a little pale." She stated which prompted Max to place a hand to her head, checking her temperature, "I feel fine." Arwen carried on smiling, "she feels fine Robin, we just had dinner and the doctors cleared her of regular check ups." Max said, "you do look a little pale." Nancy agreed as she was looking through the rear view mirror, "guys I promise I'm fine, if I wasn't then the last place I would want to be is a party." Arwen laughed it off, hoping they would stop fussing.

"You're finally here." Will rushed over to Arwen with two drinks in his hand, "drink." He passed it to Arwen who immediately downed it then looked over to Max, wiping the corner of her mouth which immediately made a smirk grow on Max's face, "I need another." She took Will's hand and took him over to the drink table, "god it feels so good being a normal teenager again." She stated, "right? It feels like ages since someone had a party." Will took a sip from his cup and looked over to Mike who was with El, "do you still have a thing for him?" She gently asked, "I think I'm over it." He lied, "good, you deserve better, now let's do shots." Arwen grabbed a bottle of vodka and started pouring multiple shots for them.
