Nothing had changed in the last couple of days. There was still no sign of the adults, no sign of the other teenagers and no sign of Arwen waking up.

"Would you two be able to get some clothes for Max? She doesn't want to leave and her moms at work so the house is empty." Dustin explained once he walked to the vending machine area where Robin and Nancy were stood talking, "yeah-" Nancy replied, "sure." Robin took Nancy's hand, "okay bye." Dustin said to himself as he was left there.

"Do you know what we're looking for?" Robin idly wandered around Max's room, "just get a pair of her jeans, I'll get the rest." Nancy grabbed a shirt then turned back round to see Robin staring at a picture of Max and Arwen that was on Max's side table, "they're really great for each other." She whispered, "yeah..." Nancy agreed then looked down at the floor, "what is it?" Robin asked, "I almost lost you too." She admitted, "Nance-"

"Please let me finish." She sighed, "ever since we almost lost each other....I've been thinking about it over and over, any possible reason why I haven't told you this yet, but I can't seem to think of one." Nancy explained, "haven't told me what?" Robin laughed nervously, Nancy quickly looked down again and rummaged around her purse before pulling out a ten dollar bill which confused her even more.

"I bet myself ten dollars that I'm going to kiss you right now." She whispered, stepping closer to Robin who was still confused, "finally making a bet on yourself huh?" She breathed out, Nancy then leaned in and pressed a kiss against Robin's lips, a kiss Robin had been waiting on since they first met, "I win again." Nancy smiled widely as she pulled away, "I win too." Robin replied with the same smile.

Once Robin and Nancy got back, the group sat around Arwen's hospital bed, observing her to see if there was any sign of movement.

"Look who's here." Steve announced as he brought Eddie in on a wheelchair, "Eddie!" Dustin ran over to him as if he hadn't seen him like five minutes ago, "how are you feeling?" Max awkwardly asked, "I'm doing okay red, got a few chunks taken out of my side but I think it makes me look cool." He replied, trying to make Max crack a smile to which she did, "oh yeah- super 'metal'" she joked as Eddie's face quickly changed once he saw Arwen.

He wheeled over and sat aside her, "you know I was actually intimidated by Arwen the first time I met her." He randomly said, grabbing the groups attention, "she was- she was so cool wearing her Metallica t shirt. I remember she just walked away so confidently like...she wasn't scared of anything." Eddie said whilst the others were now sat closely listening.

"I remember the first time she ever came to my house." Nancy started with a smile on her face, "she met Mike first, in kindergarten, so she came over our house to see him and she was wearing the cutest little tutu. Later on there was a knock at my bedroom door and it was Arwen stood outside with my moms lipstick all over her face." Everyone started laughing.

"Arwen was actually the one who invited me to the party. When I was being picked on by some other boys in our grade, she ran over and chased them whilst holding rocks like twice the side of her hands." Lucas explained, "I remember that." Dustin smiled, "sounds like Arwen." Steve laughed, "so she's always been a badass." Eddie added, "yep." Lucas, Nancy and Dustin replied in unison.

"Remember like two summers ago when she was so sure she could eat five hotdogs-" Steve started, Dustin widened his eyes realising what story he was telling, "then she projectile vomited everywhere after." Dustin laughed, "oh my god I remember that." Robin started laughing too, "it's pretty hard to forget." Nancy squirmed at the thought of it.

"Max do you have anything?" Dustin turned towards her, "I don't know- I guess Vecna kinda ruined all of my memories with her." She looked down, "especially the snowball." She let out a sad laugh, "what about that time you two were running out in the rain?" Robin smiled, "god we're not at a funeral." Max abruptly stood up making everyone look between each other, "why are we acting like she's gone?!" She snapped.

"Max-" Lucas started, "I can't do this." She stormed out and ran to the bathroom before bursting into tears.

"Are you okay?" Max suddenly stopped crying and turned around to see a girl around her age, stood in front of her with a warm smile on her face.
