The examiner brought everyone towards a giant mountain surrounded by a forest.
He then announced "The last test is a survival test and to prove your worth, you have to climb to the top of that mountain by the end of this month, which is in other words in 17 days.
Everyone that's not at the summit will be disqualified and forbidden from ever taking this test again.
So is there anyone that wants to leave, if so then raise your hand."

Two people raised their hand and left to go back to the guild leaving them with only 6 people.
The examiner then said "Another part of this test is to gather the stone tablets in the forest, the person with the least stone tablets will also be disqualified, that is only when all 6 contestants are present."

"3....2....1....Go!"
Everyone immediately rushed into the forest and went in different directions, even Rimuru and Shiraori split up at the entrance.

After two days the 6 contestants had dropped down to 5, the sixth contestant was lured into a trap and was assaulted by monkeys for several hours before bleeding out.

The five remaining contestants were: Rimuru, Shiraori, Zeke, Claire and James.

Rimuru was doing just fine and had managed to gather 7 stone tablets.

Shiraori was walking around with an animal corpse and had gather 4 stone tablets.

Zeke was wounded and hiding from the giant tiger lurking around the trees, he had gathered 8 stolen tablets.

Claire was running towards the summit at full speed and gather 2 stone tablets.

James was running away from a giant snake that was simply oozing with a purple aura.
He had gathered 14 stone tablets.

Another two days later, Rimuru had gather 29 stone tablets and reached the base of the mountain.
Shiraori has 23 stone tablets and was closely following Rimuru.
Zeke was still injured but was also nearing the base of the mountain with 34 stone tablets.
Claire halfway up the mountain and had 7 stone tablets.
James was dying, he had gathered 14 stone tablets before being caught by the giant snake and was now dying with blood pouring from every orfice in his body, the venom was also making it's way through his system evident by the purple veins running up his neck.

Claire had ran into a problem midway up the mountain as well there was a giant eagle circling the mountain, this eagle had noticed Claire and was now circling above her head in a threatening notion.
Claire took out her daggers and imbued them with magic before slashing towards the eagle and sending out an energy wave.
The eagle looked on as the attack had penetrated it's outer barrier, it's inner barrier was now facing off with the attack before the attack just vanished into thin air.
Claire looked scared as the daunting realization came before her.
She had thrown a full-powered attack at the eagle and it didn't even scratch it.
Claire did the next best thing as she once again used her strongest attack, but this time it was aimed at the wall of the mountain instead of the eagle, the attack had carved a small cave into the side of the mountain where the eagle couldn't touch her.

The eagle had tried to scratch her with it's claws but didn't notice that the cave seemed a lot bigger than before. It then once again attacked the cave but to no avail.
The eagle was about to pull out it's claw before it met resistance, the eagle eagerly started clawing at the cave again before feeling a stinging sensation on it's forehead, the bird flapped it's wing onto its head in attempt to hit the cause, but only worsened it as the stinging sensation got deeper.
It then quickly put down it's wing and released a screech that resounded through the entire mountain, Claire had managed to throw the eagle of course and insert a venomous dagger into its head, she then threw a weak net over the bird that didn't resist because of the immense feeling of pain that spread over it's body.
The poisonous dagger had sunken so deep into the eagle's skull that it hit the brain, the bird flapped it's wings before freezing in mid-air and falling to the ground. Claire quickly took out her dagger and ran back up the mountain.

Rimuru and Shiraori had noticed the screech but decided to ignore it as it wouldn't help them at all, Shiraori showed no hesitation in speeding up even more while slashing her scythe through the giant nest swarming with giant eagles, most of these being much bigger than the giant eagle Claire had just killed.

Rimuru also kept slashing her sword in similar fashion while cutting through the horde of giant eagles.

Zeke on the other hand had taken the safe route and  dug his way to the top, only to encounter a giant nest filled to the brim with little spiders, Zeke quickly lit up his sword and set the nest on fire, burning every single spider inside the nest.

Zeke then celebrated his achievement with some food before dropping his food in order to take in the sight of the giant spider standing right behind him, Zeke in attempt to escape had thrown the sticks that were on fire towards the giant spider which only slapped away the stick with minimal effort, the burning sticks had found the remains of some spiders and had lit up the nest revealing a giant hairy spider with two giant teeth dripping with highly poisonous acid.
The drops that fell to the floor had melted little hole as it continued to stare at Zeke.

Zeke the quickly used his magic to carve a passage small enough that the giant spider couldn't fit through it through the mountain.
The spider simply walked at leisurely speeds as it watched it's childrens killer slowly make his way out the mountain.

Zeke desperately continued carving until he nearly fell into a giant pond of lava.
He looked at it and thought of an idea.

The giant spider kept walking forward, It then noticed the human standing still in front of it.
The spider hissed and charged at the human before sensing that something was wrong.
It then shot a poison ball towards the human and noticed it melt away into a puddle of mud.
It was fooled, the giant spider was fooled, in an attempt to quell it's rage, it dug downwards.
It kept digging and stumbled upon the earth path that it found.
It ran along the path and when it saw the frantic human, it hissed in response and charged full speed ahead only to be drowned in lava as the human split his hand apart.
