Lila had finally boarded the train back to Paris after the long wait. Sighing, she sat down in her seat and placed her bag and suitcase next to her. Now her eyes fell once again on Adrien's bag. She looked at it curiously, her fingers began to itch, but should she really rummage around in Adrien's things?

Finally, she unzipped the bag and the first thing she saw was a tablet. She carefully picked up the tablet. Had Adrien got a new one? Just as she was about to put it back, she opened it, as it didn't seem to have a code, and a digital book was visible. No, not just any book...she had seen this book before! It belonged to his father, Gabriel Agrest.

But as she flicked through the pages, she paused. Because the pages were now legible, they had been deciphered. And there were notes in the margins. Now Lila understood. She had suspected it much earlier, but now she was sure.

Gabriel Agrest was Hawkmoth.

Nathalie had driven to the nearest airport and was now sitting in the cab that would soon drop her off at her destination. Her mission was simple: to find a Miraculous with a very powerful force. It was the Miraculous of the spider, which gave the wearer the power to hypnotize anyone and control their fate.

This would be the ideal weapon against Ladybug and Cat Noir.

So Hawkmoth, no, Gabriel would finally be able to win. Just the thought of seeing Gabriel happy again made Nathalie smile. At the airport, she bought the last tickets to Athens, because according to the latest data, the Miraculous was in Greece. Nathalie knew that Ladybug's casket wasn't the only Miraculous, because there was another casket in New York too, indicating that these magical pieces of jewelry could be found all over the world.

"Do you have any luggage?" the woman asked kindly, holding out the ticket to Nathalie. She shook her head and took the ticket. Then she sat down in a coffee shop, finally able to take a break. The people around her looked at her, most likely because of her exoskeleton. But Nathalie didn't care, her thoughts drifted back to Gabriel.

"Your order?" the waiter wanted to know. Nathalie looked up. "An espresso, please," she replied, then she went back to daydreaming. A memory came back to her.

Nathalie had just finished her work when she pushed her trolley full of books and junk into her room. She had chosen the books for Adrien's lessons, but now that he was going to school, they were no longer necessary. To her astonishment, Gabriel Agrest was sitting in the armchair, looking rather dejected. He had taken off his glasses and closed his eyes. The assistant hesitated for a moment, then approached him and hugged him. Gabriel deserved much better, he had already done so much for his wife. Emelie, his wife...and her best friend. The hug should at least cheer him up a little. The two of them remained there for a few seconds until Gabriel broke away and smiled gratefully at her.

"Your espresso," said the waiter and put the coffee down. Nathalie thanked him and took off her glasses. To be on the safe side, she fixed her dark, almost blue hair with the red parting. The hot drink warmed her up and her flight was finally announced. So she got up and made her way to Athens.

Felix sat in his seat on the train and looked at Miraculous the peacock's brooch. It had now changed to match his own, shining gray with orange speckles. He happily put it away and looked out of the window. Soon. Soon it would be time, soon everything would be back to normal... soon everything would be as it was before...
