The Kwamis Choice 11 - Queen Wax and Dark Owl

Marinette and Adrien broke away from the kiss and stared at each other with glowing cheeks. "That's a snap!" exclaimed Cloé and laughed, while Alya and Nino giggled quietly. "Hey," grumbled Adrien, but Marinette didn't seem to mind. The two of them were still holding hands. "I need to call someone, I'll be right there," Marinette suddenly thought of something. Adrien looked at her in confusion, but smiled. "Go ahead, I'll wait for you here at the buffet," he said and grabbed a paper plate. Marinette nodded gratefully and dragged her dress towards the exit. She had forgotten all about Kagami! Wasn't she going to come over too? Marinette looked at her watch, it was almost eleven o'clock, where was she? Had she changed her mind? Marinette decided to call her, but even after the fourth call she didn't pick up. The girl in the dress sighed, hopefully she hadn't gotten angry.

Véronique placed the final decoration on the cake, a candle in the shape of an Eiffel Tower, to finish off the large cake beautifully. The lady from the wax museum had the honor of giving a speech with the principal this year. She had studied here many years ago and had also been a student here. A smile flitted across her face. Suddenly someone came into the kitchen. It was the principal Damocles and Madam Bustier. "It looks just gorgeous!" the class teacher said, smiling enthusiastically. The principal seemed to be in a bad mood. "Wind late, let's take the cake downstairs," he grumbled and took hold of the tray. Véronique joined in. "Be careful, will you?" said the lady, trying not to rub the cake against her red dress. Suddenly Damocle's cell phone rang, causing him to pause. Annoyed, he took it out with one hand and answered it. "No, I can't right now! What? How is that possible! Of course everything was paid for? What makes you think that?" The principal was arguing angrily with someone when he tripped on the step and his hand slipped. The next moment, the cake plopped to the floor. The caller hung up as if he had sensed the tense atmosphere. "Hello? Hello?" grumbled the principal.

"THE GATE! WATCH OUT," shouted Véronique in shock. "Don't shout at me, it's only food. We'll do the speech without the cake, I just had an important phone call!" Damocles replied sharply. Madam Bustier wanted to intervene, but that would be critical with her baby bump. "Just some food? Do you know how long I've been doing that?" the lady in the red dress grumbled. She waved her arms around angrily. The principal had had enough and just grunted. All of a sudden, two little butterflies appeared. Black butterflies. The Akumas melted into the rings of the two they had gotten the day before because they thought Alias' idea was just brilliant, and the two froze. "Queen Wax, Dark Owl...I am Ultimot," he greeted the two. 

"Your anger and misunderstandings are all a result of this dreadful celebration. Do these students even deserve a prom of this size?" Ultimot manipulated the two of them. "No," growled Queen Wax. "Then get your revenge! Punish them all!" riffed Ultimot, and the next moment the two adults stood there acclimatized. "One more little addition. Queen Wax, I'll lend you the power of Kwami Orrikko! You can use the power of wishes," he growled. Her alias ring then lit up. "Dark Owl, I lend you the power of Kwami Ziggys, who has the power of passion!" Ultimot explained, his ring now also lit up. "We'll get you the Miraculous, Ultimot," the two of them disappeared from the kitchen and jumped onto the dance floor. All the students cried out in shock. "All of you! You don't deserve to have a party!" Queen Wax riffled and unfolded her cards, which she threw at the students seconds later. When the cards touched the students, they solidified into wax. Dark Owl raised his pistol and pointed it at Alya and Nino. "Here comes justice!" he roared and shot the students. Nino dragged Alya under a table. "You have to get out of here," Alya hissed. "And you?" Nino wanted to know anxiously. "I have to help Ladybug. Go on," she replied. Nino hesitated for a moment, then disappeared. Adrien tried to find Marinette in the chaos, but she was outside the school. That's why he hid in the toilet. 

"We'll look for her later, now Plagg, transform me!" he shouted and became Cat Noir. Alya transformed into Rena Rouge under the table, while Cloé took Sabrina and her sister away and stood in front of the villains. "Pollen, transform me!" she shouted, smiling as Queen Bee. Rena joined her partner. "We'll take these two in as long as Cat Noir and Ladybug show up," Rena hissed. "Don't worry, we can handle it," grinned Cloé.

Cat Noir jumped onto the roof and kept an eye out for Marinette. Where was she? Marinette was sitting on the stairs outside when she heard shouting inside. What was happening? But when she tried to turn around the next corner, a person appeared. "Marinette Dupan Cheng," the person hissed. It was Kagami! But...as Riposte...
