The Kwamis Choise 13 - Ladybug

Ladybug and Cat Noir arrived at the school, where Queen Bee and Rena Rouge were fighting two new villains. "Watch out, Queen Bee," Alya called out, pulling Cloé away so that she wouldn't be hit by Queen Wax. Dark Owl appeared and wanted to shoot her, but Ladybug grabbed the gun and threw it to the ground. The next moment, Cat Noir landed on it and crushed the gun. "You evil kitty!" growled Dark Owl as he stumbled to the ground. Ladybug took advantage of this moment and threw the heater at his head. Dark Owl crashed to the ground, howling. 

A helicopter flew over the school grounds, illuminating the fight with its light. Nadia Chamack was there as usual, filming everything with her camera. "We still don't know what happened here at the school, but Ladybug and her team are already on site. Let's see how long this fight will last!" Nadja was heard to say breathlessly. Queen Wax took a step back and grinned broadly. "I WISH I HAD THE POWER TO MAKE MY CARDS GIANT," shouted Queen Wax as she held her hand up and her cards glowed orange as they grew gigantic in the next moment. "Now I'll definitely hit you," said Queen Wax and threw them at the heroes. The cards were now as big as the superheroes themselves. Rena Rouge dodged in shock while Cat Noir threw a table at the woman. Queen Wax ducked away and laughed horribly. Ladybug didn't understand. How did it work? How did Ultimoth give the villains their powers? Where did they get the kwami ​​powers from? There had to be a plausible reason for it!

"Now Ladybug!" shouted Chat suddenly, now Ladybug could tie up Queen Wax. Then Queen Bee jumped up and used her poison to stop Queen Wax from moving. "Got you!" she grinned and stabbed. Queen Wax wanted to scream, but her lips froze in the middle of the movement. Rena Rouge grabbed her cards and quickly tore them up. Now two black butterflies were fluttering in the air as Ladybug caught them and then threw the heater up. "MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!" she shouted, a few minutes later everything had been repaired. The many ladybugs flew through the school and the streets. All the people had woken up from the wax, and all the damage had been reversed. "Well done," said the four heroes and clapped happily. The beeping of the Miraculous reminded everyone to hide, they would soon transform back. 

"Thank you for your help, Rena and Queen Bee," said Ladybug and smiled gratefully. Cloé nodded contentedly. Ladybug looked at the headmaster and Veronique, had they argued before? Probably because of the ball. "And all that just because of a cake," Veronique grumbled and scratched the back of her head, she seemed pretty embarrassed. Ladybug looked at the two of them, but she couldn't find any Miraculous here either. Neither a ring nor hair pins. "See you soon," said Ladybug when her Miraculous beeped again, but at the last moment she noticed something on the floor. Damocles must have fallen out of his pocket or something. It was something grey, but she put it in her pocket without thinking about it any further. Then she jumped away with Cat Noir, but her thoughts wandered to Adrien. He was probably looking for her now. And she had just run away. But she couldn't go back to school. Meanwhile, Rena was hiding in the bathroom. Cloé simply transformed back and fixed her hair. 

"What... what... happened?" the headmaster wanted to know, confused. He rubbed his head, it hurt a lot. "She was akumatized, how ridiculous," said Cloé and grinned. Nevertheless, she helped them both up. After all, it was all the fault of that stupid Hawkmoth.

Marinette, finally back in her room, transformed back. If Adrien or Kagami showed up here, she couldn't be Ladybug. A glance at her watch told her that it was already quite late. In the end, everything had turned out well. But one thing made her wonder. Shortly before she left, she had found something on the floor in front of the headmaster. Something gray. She took it out of her bag, only now did she realize that it was a ring. Hadn't she seen this ring somewhere before? Oh yes, wasn't that the ring from this new Agrest project? At first she wanted to just put it away and ignore it, when she accidentally turned it on and Gabriel Agrest's voice could be heard. "Alias ​​is at your service," she heard say. "Wait..." Marinette's voice broke off. Her head started to rattle. Why were people... all akumatized people wearing a ring from Alias... What the... if Gabriel's rings were all with the supervillains and they got the power of the Miraculous through the rings... does that mean... Marinette swallowed. Could that mean that Gabriel Agrest is...

Hawkmoth? 

What if his plan is to decorate all of Paris with these rings and akumatize everyone?

It was already late, after midnight, when Gabriel came back. The kwamis waited one last moment, then they felt Ultimoth transform back. "NOW," Bark shouted before she exhaled one last time and all the kwamis started singing loudly, dancing and doing gymnastics. They held hands like they had with Sandboy. A magical, glowing circle began to appear and the kwamis felt their powers and energy starting to fight against Hawkmoth's spell. They got louder and louder. "OFF! QUIET! Stop! Now," Gabriel tried to silence them, he didn't understand what was going on, the glowing circle blinded him. What were these things up to? But the kwamis didn't listen, they just kept going, the voices penetrated his head. 

"LET US OUT! LET US OUT," he heard. The voices of the kwamis dimly echoed and buzzed in his head. It was as if an entire orchestra was playing in his ears. Gabriel tried to fight them with all his strength, but suddenly he heard Nurroo too. "LET THEM OUT," he screamed. The energy of the Miraculous butterfly was weakening, which is why Gabriel began to pant, sweat forming on his forehead. The glowing circle became brighter, Gabriel felt himself losing connection to the kwamis. "No... stop... it," he gasped. They want to run away... to... Ladybug. Gabriel gritted his teeth. The kwamis felt his aura, it was getting weaker. They were about to make it! "Now or never," said Ziggy, his eyes looking back and forth quickly. "He's at his weakest point now!" said Orrikko, gasping for air. Seconds later, the connection broke, Gabriel fell to his knees, then all the Kwamis stormed his office and threw everything over. They disappeared as fast as they could through the open window. Gabriel gasped, he tried to get up, he wanted to follow them, but he felt so weak. What...what...what...had that just been? The door was thrown open, Ann stormed in worriedly. The researcher looked at the chaos in the office. "Gabriel...what is..." she wanted to know, but Gabriel cut her off. He stood up and transformed, still gasping. "These bastards have escaped...but they're probably...flying to Ladybug," he laughed, panting. Yes, exactly...that's exactly how it's going to go! The Kwamis are so stupid, they won't be fast enough, they'll lead him to Ladybug! Then, without explaining anything else, he disappeared outside into the night. Ann stared after him, distraught.

Marinette wanted to hide the ring well in the drawer when she suddenly heard voices from outside. She turned around in shock. Was that Adrien and Kagami? Or had Ultimot attacked again? The girl, still in her torn ball gown, wanted to turn to the window, but before Marinette could react, all of the Kwamis suddenly appeared in front of her. "LADYBUG," she gasped, shocked. They all looked very exhausted. 

"What the? Barkk, and all of you!" Marinette stopped in amazement. All of the Kwamis had fled from Ultimot! "How...how did you manage it?" she wanted to know. Baark shook his head. "Later, you have to get out of here, we don't know how much time we have-" Baark was interrupted in the middle of the sentence when Marinette was thrown to the ground in the blink of an eye and a person crashed through her window. Glass shattered and fell to the ground. The shadow of the huge person was visible. Marinette looked up...and...froze. Her heart stopped for a moment, her lungs constricted. The air left her body, she could no longer move, as if she had turned to stone - that couldn't be true! NO!

 "So, so...that means the great guardian and heroic Ladybug is actually..." she heard Ultimoth's voice, he bent down and grinned at her. "None other than...Marinette Dupan Cheng"
