The second chance 5

Cat Noir watched the events in fear. Ultimoht had escaped from them again! But...now she couldn't follow him anymore...unless...

Chat ran to Bunnix and pulled the Miraculous of Time out of her bag. "Here, catch it, milady!" he called and threw the rabbit Miraculous to Ladybug. Uncertainly, Ladybug caught it and looked at the Miraculous in her hand. "Only bearers of the rabbit Miraculous can open and close the portal of time. Use it," explained Cat Noir and smiled at his partner. Ladybug looked at the Miraculous hesitantly. Then she looked at Cat Noir and grinned. "No...it's your time to shine, kitten," she replied and smiled. She put the Miraculous on his hand. "You want me to control time?!" he looked at his partner in surprise. 

"It's just you and me...against the whole world. Do you remember?" Cat Noir's heart warmed. Cat Noir nodded and put the Miraculous in his pocket, and Fluff appeared the next moment. "Plagg! Fluff! Unite!", shouted Cat Noir enthusiastically, and a few seconds later he was already standing there as Rabbit Noir. He touched the opening and saw Ultimoth, tired, chasing Cat Noir, who was locked up in the Louvre. Chat remembered that at the time his leg had been badly injured, a perfect time to attack. "What a coward! He's trying to surprise us!", said Cat Noir, and the two quickly followed through a time portal. Before Ultimoth reached the Cat Noir of the past, Rabbit Noir knocked his legs out from under him with his umbrella. Ultimoth turned around in surprise. Damn it, he thought. 

"Rabbit hole," he hissed and disappeared into another portal. "Quickly, while the portal is open!" shouted Ladybug, and the two superheroes jumped after him. "He wants to follow us into the sewers on Heroes' Day! That way he can see us transform back!", Ladybug stopped in panic. "Don't worry, I know a shortcut," said Rabbit Noir and disappeared into the portal. Just before Ultimoth managed to look around the corner, Rabbit Noir and Ladybug grabbed the man and jumped into the next hole. The three landed on the roof in front of the Eiffel Tower, and Ladybug now remembered, now she understood why they had seen Ultimoth and herself. "He's exhausted! We'll get him soon!" shouted Cat Noir and followed him through the time portal. Ultimoth fell to the ground, gasping, and tried to take a deep breath. 

What was happening to him? Why...why did he feel so weak? He heard the voices of the kwami ​​echoing quietly in his head. "Save...us..."

Ultimoth leaned against the wall. What time was he in anyway?

"Hey, MothRabbitChickenTurtle! Are you tired yet?" said Rabbit Noir and grinned. 

"Stop it, give us the Miraculous of Time back... and preferably all the others too," added Ladybug. She held out her hand. "Nuuro, Fluff, Orriko, Longg, Wayzz, Kaalki..." Ultimoth tried to name all the Miraculous. "Hm, that'll take a while," joked Rabbit Noir. "Unite... unite..." Ultimoth gasped with the last of his strength and fell to the ground. With the last of his strength he touched his watch with the dog Miraculous' ball, then lay there breathing shallowly. 

"Even-even if... you get it back... I will... always find it..." he coughed. Another painful shock ran through him and he screamed in pain. "Didn't you know that if you use too many Miraculous for too long, it can be fatal for you?" said Ladybug and knelt down. But Ultimoth said nothing more...he just gasped and lay there. "Have we defeated him?" Rabbit Noir wanted to know. He looked uncertainly at the heavily breathing Ultimoth. Ladybug slowly came closer and opened his hand. 

"It looks like...," she replied hesitantly. Was he just pretending? Or could he really not do it anymore? Maybe this was just a trap...Ladybug hesitantly took the Miraculous of Time in her hand and jumped back in shock when Ultimoth was shocked again. "Here!" suddenly a red light blinded them both and Ladybug had to step back to understand what was happening. 

On the other side of the river she could see the young Master Fu. With his lover...Marianne. "The box! Quick, we have to hide it!" 

"Master Fu...?" Ladybug wondered. But at that very moment, Ultimoth got up and picked up the ball. "Hollow!" he hissed. It was only a blink of an eye, but Ladybug realized it. The ball grabbed the rabbit Miraculous...just like...a few days ago...just like Felix Ball had grabbed her yo-yo...Gasping for air, she turned to Ultimoth. "Protective shield!" he shouted and now Ladybug and Rabbit Noir could do nothing but watch as Ultimoth used the rabbit Miraculous and disappeared into the rabbit hole...
