Alya strolled through the school corridor, her thoughts still revolving around Ladybug, Cat Noir and the angry Grand Keeper Su Han, who had now taken the two of them to Tibet. Unsure how she should feel, she sat down in her seat and looked at the empty last seat. Hopefully Marinette would manage and return quickly. But suddenly she was torn from her thoughts when someone sat down next to her. At first she thought it was her friend Nino, but angrily she realized that it was none other than Lila.

"What are you doing here? Why are you sitting here?" Alya hissed at the girl. She started to grin. "I wonder what? I'm keeping you company while you're on your own," explained the girl with the chestnut-coloured hair, pouting. "You're trying to pull my leg, aren't you?" Alya laughed softly. But just at that moment, the teacher came in and Madam Bustier smiled at all the students. "Good morning, dear class," she greeted the pupils.

Her eyes immediately fell on Lila.

"Well, why are you sitting here at the front, Lila?" she wanted to know. "I thought it was because Marinette is ill and Adrien is traveling again, yes, I haven't told you that yet, he had written to me to sit with Alya so that she wouldn't be so alone. Is that all right, Madam Bustier?" Lila babbled and smiled kindly. Alya bit her tongue to stop herself from swearing. What was she thinking? Who was she to allow herself to do that? "That's very kind of you Lila, especially as we'll be working in pairs today," replied the class teacher and started handing out the worksheets. Cloé was back today, sitting thoughtfully in her seat, but Sabrina was still not there. The blogger really wondered what had happened between the two of them.

"I told Sabrina something great, but unfortunately she got mad at Cloé... maybe that's why she's not here," whispered Lila, making a thoughtful face. "You what?" hissed Alya, trying to keep her voice down. "I just told her the truth about her friendship with Cloé... nothing more," Lila said, looking at the worksheet. Alya jumped up in anger and wanted to shout at the super liar, but she would be too loud. Tense, she sat down again. "Just wait and see, it won't get off your hands. You won't be sitting here for long anyway," Alya grumbled. "Is there a problem, Alya?" the teacher asked her. Alya knew that she couldn't put Lila down now, that would only reflect badly on her, so she shook her head. "Well then, partner, let's get started," said Lila and grinned.

Ladybug swung her yoyo for the thousandth time, her arms and legs ached and she could barely feel her fingers. They had been hopping after the Grand Keeper Su Han for hours, over the roofs of various towns, until they finally arrived at a valley with a wide river.

"Can...can't we...use our flying powers?" Cat Noir suggested out of breath. He stopped for a moment to catch his breath. Su Han turned around and paused. He looked at the two of them suspiciously. He didn't look tired at all himself. "You're already giving up? And you want to be the greatest heroes of the Mother Casket? I almost slayed this path barefoot behind me, so you'll probably be able to do the same, won't you?" the guardian grumbled impatiently.

"But we'll be quicker this way, we can carry you too, Grand Keeper. Otherwise we'll be gone far too long," Ladybug suggested. Su Han looked skeptical, then finally sighed. "Fine, fine by me. But you'll change back to your normal form before the temple," he added. Ladybug and Cat Noir nodded. They took out the magical food and ate a piece. "Transform me!" they both shouted, and the very next moment their costumes lit up. Now they were Cosmicbug and Astrocat. "Now we'll be there in no time," Chat said and picked up Su Han. "Show us the way, Grand Guardian," and with these words, they flew deeper into the mountains, far away from Paris, to reach the Guardian Temple.

Nathalie, Ann and Gabriel sat down in the armchairs in the private jet, and Nathalie was feeling worse again, which is why Gabriel worried about her the whole time during the flight. "The flight and everything before, it's too much for you. I shouldn't have taken you with me. Nathalie," he whispered worriedly. Nathalie stroked his cheek.

"Sir, I'm fine. I just need a little rest," she tried to reassure him. She looked into his deep, green-gray eyes, which looked like a green sea with gray clouds that could start a storm at any time. His warm hands on her knees, his soft gaze looking at her with concern. She would have preferred to stay in this position, preferably forever. "I'll get you something to drink, shall I?" Gabriel suggested and stood up. "And you said he only had eyes for his wife," Ann said and giggled.

"Maybe it'll all be over much quicker. Maybe he'll fall in love with you and then...I'll finally be able to explore the Miraculous in peace. Good... I have to say, you've given me lots of new opportunities," she thanked Nathalie. "I have to thank you, Ann. Without you...we wouldn't have got this far," Nathalie replied and smiled. Gabriel came back and handed his assistant a glass of water. "Here you go," he said, blushing slightly when their fingers touched. Nathalie's cheeks also glowed. Gabriel Agrest looked out of the window.

"The time has come. We are here. The temple of the guardians. The place where it all began... and the place... where it will all end," Gabriel said and laughed.
