Miraculous Fanfiction Season 5 - The Last Day

The Fox Miraculous II

A/N: This chapter plays at the same time as the first episode of season 5, Evolution, but is an alternative version of mine. Also its only the beginning which is similar. Have fun reading :)

"We're not afraid of you, Hawkmoth!" shouted Ladybug, still in shock and unsure, her hands shaking, standing next to Cat Noir and looking into Hawkmoth's face, which was made of Akumas. A protective shield surrounded it, so Ladybug could not destroy it immediately. 

"You want to fight? Well then...RESIDENTS OF PARIS! LADYBUG AND CAT NOIR WANT TO FIGHT? THEN THEY WILL HAVE THE WAR! LET'S SEE HOW LONG THEY CAN HOLD OUT! I, NOW ULTIMOTH, WILL ATTACK YOU WITH ONLY STRONGER SUPERVILLAINS! AND THEN WE'LL SEE IF LADYBUG AND CAT NOIR WILL STILL BE SO SELF-SECURE!" Ultimoth's voice echoed through the streets of Paris. 

Ladybug flinched. Cat Noir growled through clenched teeth. 

"You won't win, Ulitmoth!" shouted Chat. 

"Ladybug has already made one mistake, and she'll make more. She's always made mistakes and she'll keep making them. I will always be one step ahead of her. MUHAHAHA!" Ultimoth roared and laughed maliciously.

 Cat Noir had had enough, he jumped off the roof in a rage. He ran across the square, the crowd of citizens supporting him with cheers and signs. "Get out!!!" roared Cat Noir, jumping up and swiping with his claw. "CATACLYSM," Chat shouted and the next moment he destroyed the shield. "Take that," he said and landed on the ground. 

The next moment Ladybug swung her yoyo and started to catch the Akumas, just like back then...at the beginning...back when it was just the two of them. One after the other. "See you Ladybug-ahhhh," Ultimoth said and disappeared. Ladybug landed at the foot of the Eiffel Tower and took a deep breath. 

"Citizens of Paris! I've said it before! And I'll do it again! Me and Cat Noir promise you, that we will always protect Paris until Hawkmoth...Ultimoth is defeated!" she shouted. Cheers rang out. 

"We will win," Ladybug said. "I promise you that."

Gabriel went down to his house with Nathalie and Ann, the researcher, shortly after Lila had disappeared. What did this annoying girl want here? And why did she wait for him for hours? 

"That puny little brat! Ladybug, you're going to lose in the end!" he cursed angrily.

 "Sir," Nathalie tried to calm him down, gently placing her hand on his. "Now they all have Miraculous...you will win," she said and smiled. She was always there to comfort him.

Gabriel looked at her for a moment, then he smiled too. "You're right, Nathalie," he murmured. "What's the next step?" Ann, the new alliance, interrupted them both. Gabriel Agrest thought for a moment, his finger playing with the Miraculous of the Butterfly. 

"The Miraculous of the Fox," he said. "We will use the Miraculous of the Fox, to trap Ladybug and Cat Noir. We will use its power", he answered and stepped forward.

 "We need a new ally," he explained, looking at the Fox Miraculous in his digital spell book, which Nathalie got from the old master of the Miraculous box, Master Fu. 

"And I think I already know who would be just perfect for that...", the tall man turned around and took his phone. He needed to make a call...
