Marinette had her third class the next day, which is why she would meet Kagami first. She got on her moped and puttered off. The fresh morning wind blew in her face, the sun's rays warmed her back. Marinette stopped in front of Kagami's house and waited patiently until Kagami came out.

"Oh, you're wearing your hair down," Kagami remarked and smiled. Marinette nodded. "Yes, because otherwise my hairstyle would get ruined under the helmet. But I'm glad you like it," said Marinette and smiled. The two puttered off and stopped for a coffee near the school. 

"So, what did you want to discuss?" said Marinette when the two had ordered something. Kagami hesitated for a moment. "Well, I'm glad you're getting together with Adrien, even though I have feelings for him, but..." Kagami kneaded her skirt. "But I... heard... that you don't treat Adrien very well," she confessed. Marinette paused. 

"Pfff, was that a joke? Kagami, I would never take advantage of Adrien. Maybe I look stupid next to him sometimes, but that's it," Marinette clarified. "Don't worry. Just because, no if, I get together with Adrien, I'll still be happy to do something with you. The same certainly applies to Adrien," Marinette explained and smiled. Kagami smiled, but kept the conversation with Lila to herself. 

She could certainly believe Marinette. Right? The order came and the two enjoyed their drinks and food.

Back at school, Marinette sat down next to Alya when Alix's father suddenly came into the classroom. "My daughter Alix will not be coming to school for an indefinite period of time because she went on an expedition with a course around the world. So that no one is worried, I just wanted to explain that. Thank you for your attention," said the father and smiled. Next to him stood the pregnant Madam Bustier and the headmaster, Monsieur Damocles. But Marinette knew that Alix actually had to travel through time and couldn't come back until much later. Alya put her hand on hers reassuringly. 

"But don't forget, you don't have to be a superhero to help Ladybug and Cat Noir!" said the headmaster enthusiastically. "But Ultimot is really scaring me right now," complained Milen. "He should, he owns something like 69.8 percent of the Miraculous, his chance of winning has increased," said Max. 

"Max, statistics are cool and all, but that doesn't help us. Besides, you scare everyone," grumbled Nino. "If you're scared, do yoga, it really helps!" Ivan hugged his girlfriend warmly. Marinette smiled. "Ivan is right, you could help people get their fear under control," agreed Marinette. "Maybe I could advertise a course," said Cloé and went on Instagram. 

"Ultimot won't win, we will always think positively," shouted Rose. Everyone agreed with her. "I could draw positive and motivating posters and comics with Marc," said Nathaniel. "We won't let Ladybug and Cat Noir down!" shouted Alya and everyone agreed. Adrien was still a little lost in thought because he had seen Kagami's mother, Madam Tsurugi, in Gabriel's room this morning. He was curious, what had the two of them discussed?

 His thoughts were swirling around in his head. Maybe a new project. Ultimot hadn't shown up yet, which surprised him because it had been almost two days. Adrien was also thinking about something else. Although his father had said he wouldn't be modeling anymore, this morning he had asked him to get scanned with Lila in a special room at the Tsurugi industry. What for? Was it an advertisement? 

Adrien could imagine that. He hadn't said a single word to Lila about how much he hated that girl. Especially after Versailles. The bell rang for the end of class and Adrien was on his way out when he got the latest news. "It's been almost two days since anything happened in Paris. Ultimot hasn't shown up. Is it related to his last defeat? Is Ultimot still able to fight?" Nadja Chamack could be heard talking. 

So nothing new, thought Adrien. And Felix still hasn't shown up. As if he'd disappeared off the face of the earth. Nothing. That was so strange. Adrien put his cell phone away and went down the stairs, where Marinette was already waiting for him. "Hey, are you ready?" Marinette said as Adrien kissed her on the cheek. She blushed. 

"Yes, let's go to the park," he agreed. But suddenly there was a crash from further away, then another, as the ground suddenly began to shake. The next moment a huge figure jumped over the roofs of Notre Dam. 

It was Kagami's mother! 

Madam Tsurugi, in akumatized form! She landed with a crash in the river in front of them. The next moment she swung her sword and let it rush down on both of them.
