The last Day: Confrontation IV

Sweat ran down Kagami's forehead. Where did Marinette live again? Wasn't the bakery here? Kagami turned the corner and finally spotted the Dupan Chengs' building. But when she looked at the house, her breath caught. There was a huge hole where Marinette's room should have been. Was that...her? She ran into the bakery and quickly looked for her parents or Marinette. "Marinette?" she called worriedly. But she got no answer. Suddenly her parents came downstairs and coughed. "Kagami? Have you seen Marinette? Is she okay?" they wanted to know. Kagami swallowed and slowly shook her head. Marinette's mother put her hands over her face. "I...I...was looking for her...but...something happened up here," the girl murmured. Sabine shook her head sadly. "She was attacked...but we don't know why!" said her father. Kagami turned around, her head hurt, everything was moving. She had to save Marinette... otherwise... Suddenly there was a huge noise and an explosion, so the three of them turned to the street where the smoke was rising into the sky. "May God protect us"

The heroes were fighting Ultimoth when he suddenly took Queen Bee's spinning top and tied the four up, throwing them against several walls. The heroes lay on the ground, panting and bleeding. "We won't last long," gasped The Zorro. Ladybug nodded, she had to think of something. "I have an idea," grumbled Cat and pulled out a pink Camembert, with Ladybug following suit. The four shared the magical food, and the next moment their costumes glowed a delicate pink, with Ladybug's dots, Cat Noir's lines, The Zorro's black stripes and Queen Bee's black stripes. The heroes immediately felt a healing. "I don't know how long the healing will last, but let's not waste any time," shouted Ladybug and jumped on Ultimoth and wanted to strike, but he took a step back and touched his ring. 

"The time has come, let the prototype out," he said. Ladybug paused, what did he mean by "prototype"? What had Ultimot planned? Suddenly, without warning, something appeared and hit Ladybug in the solar plexus, causing her to hear her ribs crack and fly backwards. What was that? "Milady!", Chat called and wanted to rush to her to see how she was, but this gray something shot out, grabbed his belt and pulled him towards him. Cat Noir had to look into his empty eyes. No, they weren't eyes, they were lamps that reminded him of a certain logo. What the hell was that? But Chat didn't have time to think anymore, because this gray something hit his neck with the palm of its hand. The air left Cat Noir's head, he felt his eyes closing. Queen Bee wanted to free him, but this something grabbed Queen Bee by the neck and left her dangling in the air. 

"I... I..." she croaked, the grip around her neck getting tighter and tighter. "Let her go now!", yelled The Zorro and wanted to knock the grey thing's legs out from under it, but this thing took Queen Bee and Cat Noir and pushed them into Nino. The three of them fell to the ground groaning. "HAHAHA! Look at you! You're ridiculous! Completely incompetent to stand up to him!", laughed Ultimoth mockingly and grinned. "What is that...?", wanted to know The Zorro. "A robot. A perfect fighting machine. The prototype," explained Ultimoth and laughed. But Cat Noir had had enough. He darted forward and wanted to hit the robot, but the robot held his fist. "Got you," growled Chat. 

"CATACLYSSM," he yelled, as the next moment a surge of energy went through the robot and the prototype began to rust and fell to the ground with a groan. "That's it... with your perfect plan and an ideal fighting machine," smiled Ladybug weakly. But Ultimoth didn't seem to be frightened or depressed at all, no, on the contrary, his grin only got wider. "Did you really think that was it? That was just the beginning," he laughed, then an Akuma appeared from his staff, which he merged into the robot a few seconds later. Ladybug and Cat Noir gasped. Queen Bee opened her eyes wide and The Zorro fell to his knees. He hadn't... The prototype rose up in the black smoke, became three times as big and was no longer shiny silver, but shimmered dark anthracite. 

"This is the beginning of your end," Ultimoth laughed and stood next to the ten-meter-tall prototype.

Jeanne d'Arc moved closer to the others and shook her head. "How are they supposed to win the fight? She can't do it alone," she murmured. She ran her hand through her short hair, her armor with black dots shone in red. Another girl stood next to her. "I'm sure this is the only way to give the two of them their full potential," said Bo rúa. The former wearer of the Ladybug Miraculous wore a red Japanese cloak with black dots. Her long, dark hair was loose and lay on her shoulders. Piáo Chóng nodded seriously. 

"We mustn't interfere, not yet," she said with her Chinese accent. A young woman shook her head. "Tikki should have told her earlier. This fight will take a toll on her," she said. "Tikki knows when to say it, Mudangbeolle. She'll know what to do," another wearer interjected. The other former bearers nodded, including Mudekudeku and La Coccinelle. "We are with you, Ladybug."
