Ladybug and Cat Noir ran into the inner courtyard of the temple, in front of them was the Grand Guardian Su Han, who quickly scanned the area, but it seemed peaceful, almost too peaceful. Nobody was there, nobody attacked the temple. But what caused this huge earthquake? Ladybug didn't understand.
"If there is no one here, then where is the earthquake coming from?" she wanted to know. Cat Noir also looked pretty indecisive. "Come on!" Su Han shouted and jumped off. Ladybug and Chat exchanged a quick look, then followed the Guardian. He left the temple grounds and hurried along a snowy mountain path. "Where does this lead?" Cat Noir shouted against the whipping wind. Su Han didn't answer at first, he seemed pretty serious. Whatever it was, it scared Ladybug.
"The path leads us to a cave entrance that has been filled in," Su Han finally explained and stopped. "Maybe that's where the quake came from," Cat Noir suggested. That would at least make sense. The three of them hurried along the path until the snow covered the ground. "There, in front of us is the rock face," said the Grand Keeper finally. But to his shock, he suddenly stopped when he saw that the entrance to the cave was open. "What the...", he looked confused at the footprints in the deep snow. "Someone was here before us...and opened the cave," Cat Noir noted, looking at the cave entrance partly worried, partly curious. A dark, long tunnel seemed to lead into the endless darkness. "What kind of cave is that? What's in there?" Ladybug asked, stepping closer to the entrance.
"That's the problem...we don't know," Su Han replied uncomfortably. Ladybug looked at him in fear. "Whoever opened this cave again had a good reason for doing it. But that can't bode well," Ladybug said thoughtfully. "We should follow the strangers," Cat Noir suggested. "Out of the question. This is far too dangerous, the cave is in critical condition. It could collapse at any moment," Su Han warned the two superheroes. "Then we have to save the people from there!" Ladybug shouted and rushed inside. "No, stop! Ladybug!" Su Han tried to stop her, but it was too late. The girl with blue hair had disappeared into the tunnel. "I'm coming punctually!" Cat Noir added and ran after her. Su Han looked after the two of them uncertainly. "What am I doing?" he asked himself. "No matter, I can't leave those two alone in there," he said sternly and jumped into the tunnel.

Ultimoth, Arachide and Nathalie followed the long, curved tunnel, the only source of light being Arachide's eyes, which illuminated the path before their feet like a flashlight. "This tunnel...it's so long. I wonder where it takes us," Nathalie murmured in amazement. "Definitely under the Temple of the Guardians. I'm sure it's full of secrets," Ultimoth replied and grinned. His purple suit shimmered in the dim light. "There's something up there! Oh my God, I can hardly wait!" said Ann like a little toddler, which made Nathalie smile briefly. "The tunnel, it's getting wider," Nathalie remarked, and yes, the tunnel was getting higher and wider until it brought the three of them into a huge cave, the ceiling of which was several twenty, if not thirty meters high. Stalagmites and glowing crystals decorated the walls, in the middle was a huge, deep hole in which lay a dark lake. Glittering mushrooms grew on the rocks, wall paintings told stories of foreign heroes.
"Wow!!! That looks incredibly beautiful!" Ann exclaimed and immediately examined the walls. Nathalie moved closer to the edge of the chasm and looked at the dark, small lake, whose reflection reflected a huge, blue-violet crystal on the ceiling. "Where are we?" breathed the assistant. Ultimoth ran his hand over the engraved symbols and characters. Some resembled a kwami, some could represent people. As Nathalie moved further down, she noticed two large pillars with two heroes depicted on them. "Are those...about...?" She stepped closer in amazement and tried to see something in the glow of the glowing mushrooms. "Gabriel, can you give me light?" she asked. Ultimoth nodded immediately. "Of course, my love," he says, smiling. He then took out Hans' Miraculous from his staff and combined it. "Orikko, Nuuroo, combine yourselves!" he shouted and he was already standing there with orange stains on his collar and coat. "Light," he said, pointing his finger at the two pillars. It immediately became brighter and Nathalie gasped.
"Impossible..." Ultimoth growled. The two pillars had Ladybug and Cat Noir depicted on them! Not the ones we have today, but clearly the wearers from another era. "What does that mean?" Nathalie wanted to know and looked at Ann. "I think...these symbols are supposed to represent the kwamis and their wielders with the powers. And this hell...it was a special place for the Miraculous...but I'm not sure," the researcher replied, looking at them Drawings. "It appears that the material for the Miraculous was taken from this very cave. The rock here seems to bond with the Kwamis. It makes them stronger. This cave acts like a catalyst for the Miraculous wielders," Ann explained. Nathalie understood. "No wonder the Guardians built the temple here. Now everything makes sense, almost," said Nathalie and turned to the two pillars. "I feel it," Ultimoth growled.
"The power of this place". He stepped closer to the pillars and grinned. It felt good, so much power! "And as for the two pillars..." Ann said, touching the two drawings of Ladybug and Cat Noir, "I can only assume one thing. This place was far too important for these two powerful Miraculous. But what can I not say". Just as Ultimoth was about to say something, the three heard a distant voice in the hallway. "Damn, there's someone!" Ann said worriedly. "Let me guess...Ladybug and Cat Noir," Ultimoth laughed. Nathalie wanted to hide in the shadows, but it was too late. Ladybug and Cat Noir entered the cave with a Guardian behind them.
Ladybug froze as she looked at Ultimoth's face. Behind him were two other people who she couldn't quite recognize. "Hawkmoth..." she cursed. "Ultimoth, Beetle," he corrected her. Cat Noir stopped next to his lady and hissed. "You bastard," he shouted, to which Ultimoth just laughed scornfully. "He's not alone," remarked Su Han, who had appeared unimpressed behind the two. A young, slim woman in a spider costume stepped forward. "Arachide," Ultimoth introduced, the woman smiling charmingly and playfully swinging her blade on the rope. But when the third person stepped out of the shadows, Adrien's heart stopped. This blue suit, these glasses and this red streak... standing in front of her was..."Nathalie...Sanceur?" he looked at his father's assistant in shock. She smiled sadly and stepped next to Ultimoth.
"Hello Ladybug. Hello Cat Noir, I'm happy to see you again"
