Adrien put his last portion in his mouth while he checked his messages on his cell phone. All of a sudden, his father came in and sat down at the table with his son. The blond boy looked up in surprise. He couldn't believe it, his father was finally taking the time to have breakfast with him! Or maybe he was dreaming it too, but no, Adrien shook his head, his father was sitting at the table eating his fried egg.

"Good morning," Adrien said and finished his orange juice. "I wish you the same Adrien. I finally have time to eat with you," the tall man replied and smiled. "That makes me happy. I'm very pleased. But what about Nathalie and Ann?" Adrien wanted to know.

"Nathalie is still asleep and Ann... well, to be honest, I don't know what she's doing right now," said Gabriel, when he was interrupted by Ann rushing past. "No time," she said with a heavy accent, grabbed a piece of bread, stuffed it in her mouth, and disappeared again. Gabriel and Adrien looked after her in confusion.

"Well, I have to admit something else, Adrien. Nathalie, Ann and I are going on an expedition tomorrow, so you'll have to manage on your own. The bodyguard will protect you if anything should happen," Gabriel explained and stood up. "Sure. I'll be good," Adrien replied and grinned. Gabriel also grinned briefly before disappearing into the kitchen with his plate. "You'd better hurry or you'll be late," Plagg reminded him, so he got ready and went outside.

Marinette and Alya sat down on the bench inside the playground when they suddenly heard loud shouting and talking. "What's going on?" Alya wondered, her curiosity immediately sparked. Marinette followed her friend, who had already pulled out her cell phone. The two of them approached the group of students, in the middle of which stood Cloé with Lila.

"Hey, what are you doing, give me my phone back right now!" Cloé shouted angrily and snatched the phone out of Lila's hand, who was smiling and trying to take a photo. "How dare you touch my phone?" she grumbled at the girl. "I just wanted to take a selfie with you, Cloé," said Lila, raising her hands in reassurance. But Cloé didn't find that funny.

"What if you dropped my expensive cell phone? What if I took your cell phone?" the blonde asked a counter-question. Lila shrugged her shoulders. "Please. Take a photo of us, we're friends," said Lila and grinned. She held out her hand, but Cloé seemed to have had enough. She took the phone and dropped it. "Oops, the phone slipped out of my hand," she pretended to be innocent. Marinette couldn't help but smile.

Lila gave Cloé a strange look, then bent down to grab the cell phone when Cloé stepped on it. She bent down and whispered: "I'll buy you a new one. Don't try to force me to do anything just because you want or need it. You fucked up with Hawkmoth...and you've sunk even lower than I have." Lila growled softly, but immediately caught herself and dropped to the floor.

"Cloé! Why are you so mean to me!" she sobbed and started to cry. Everyone around the two of them began to mutter and grumble. "Cloé! Shame on you! Lila didn't do anything to you! Go away!" someone shouted. "You're so mean" "YOU ARE ONLY A RICH MEAN GIRL," someone else shouted. Cloé looked around uncertainly, fear rising in her face.

"But...but...she...she's lying," she whispered in a shaky voice. "The only one lying is you!" Alix shouted and crossed her arms. "That's right, you're not nice and friendly," Milen agreed. 'Yeah, Cloé, that really wasn't cool,' Kim grumbled. Only Zoés, Cloé's sister, seemed worried, but she didn't dare say anything. "Guys, let's...better go," she tried to distract the crowd. Cloé started to sob, looked down in shame and ran away.

"Cloé wait!" Zoé called after her. "You all hate me, don't you?" and with these words she disappeared behind the school entrance door. "Guys, you shouldn't have been so mean," said Marinette, looking worriedly after Cloé. But everyone ignored Marinette and looked after Lila. "Leave it alone, come on," said Alya and pulled her friend away.

Somehow Cloé felt sorry for Marinette. If only she could help her.

Lila had briefly moved to the toilet and looked at herself in the mirror, confident of victory. She traced her lips with lipstick and grinned. Her plan was going smoothly so far, soon Cloé would give up and then she could be used like a stupid, useless puppet to destroy Ladybug and Cat Noir. Suddenly her cell phone rang, causing her to lock herself in a cubicle, startled. It was none other than Gabriel Agrest. "

Gabriel Agrest...or should I say Ultimoth," she greeted him. "Lila Rossi. How's the plan going so far?" Gabriel Agrest wanted to know. "Everything is perfect. We can move on to the next step," replied Lila, wrapping a strand of hair around her finger. Her voice sounded confident and slightly amused.

"The next step will have to wait, I have something else to do tomorrow, keep me posted," and that was the end of the phone call.
