They destroyed the city, the skyscrapers, the houses. The Eiffel Tower collapsed, the bridges collapsed, the water overflowed. People ran away in panic, their screams made Ladybug jump. The train station was also smashed to pieces, and the building on which Ladybug and Cat Noir were standing was also destroyed. Dust swirled through the air, the ground shook and was now covered with stones and pieces of wall. Ladybug and Cat Noir landed between the villains running around. 

"Ultimoth gave Ikari Gozen the Miraculous of the Mouse?" Ladybug wondered and dodged a sword blow. Cat Noir slipped under several of them and tried not to touch anything with his left hand. "Great, this will be the next Miraculous we get back," said Cat Noir, out of breath. "I'm the one who claims your Miraculous!" Ikari Gozen shouted and tried to hit Ladybug away, but she ducked away. 

"So you are interested in old jewels after all?" Ladybug joked and rolled off. "I thought you only liked new and modern things," she added sharply. Ladybug jumped back to the pile of stones where Cat Noir was standing and panting. "Good job. You should give us your old thing, Ikari Dozen," Cat Noir said and grinned. "Old things can be useful if you modernize them," Ikari Gozen replied with a grim face. Then she stepped on the two heroes, who disappeared into the pile of rubble at the same moment. The two crouched down and took a deep breath. "Do we have to destroy all the swords?" Cat Noir wanted to know. 

"One should be enough, it's only increased twelvefold. I counted them all. "Why don't you use your 'old' powers," Cat Noir teased her. "Good idea, kitty," she said and coughed under the dust. "Lucky charm," she hissed, and the next moment a red fishing rod with black spots appeared in her hand. Ladybug and Cat Noir looked at the fishing rod in confusion. "What do we want with a fishing rod? Should it take the bait?" wondered Cat Noir. "We just need a good fishing spot," replied Ladybug and grinned. She closed her eyes and tried to picture Paris. The fishing rod flashed in her mind, then the destroyed school, Ikari Gozen's sword, a heavy beam and finally Cat Noir. "I got it, I know what I have to do," said Ladybug and put a headset in her ear. "Take this and then..." she whispered so that Ikari Gozen didn't hear the plan. She quickly pulled out another orange macaroon, while Cat Noir took out his Camembert. 

"Tikki! Plagg! Transform me!" the two shouted and used the power of speed. "See you, Speedbug," purred Cat Noir. "See you soon, Flash Noir," giggled Ladybug, and in a matter of seconds she was out of the crowd. She pulled herself up using Ikari Gozen's leg and spun in the air, while all the villains stared at her in amazement. She let herself fall, but just in front of their noses, she swung her yo-yo and pulled herself towards the school. The herd of Ikari Gozens followed her angrily, striking her with their swords, but she was just too fast. "Look at you, there are 12 of you and you still can't take my Miraculous from me," shouted Ladybug, whizzing through the street like a red flash. "You're pretty slow for a 'car villain', Ikari Dozen," Ladybug annoyed them. Ikari Gozen roared loudly and tried to ram her sword into her face, but she missed and hit Notre Dam. Ladybug swung into the broken room, where the heavy beam was hanging halfway in the middle, and got ready. "Are you ready?" she whispered. "Catfisher is ready," meowed Cat Noir. 

"I'M OPEN THE GATE TO THE NEW WORLD!" Ikari Gozem shouted and swung her huge sword and stabbed. But Ladybug had gotten faster, ducked away and the sword hit the hole between the building and the beam. Flash Noir let the beam sink immediately using the fishing rod and the next moment it crashed onto the sword. Ikari Gozen could no longer move. At least her sword could. She tried to pull it out, but Flash Noir was faster. He touched the sword with his hand. "Got you," he grinned and in the next second the large sword crumbled to dust. A small, black butterfly appeared and fluttered around. "Your dark times are over, Mega Akuma," said Ladybug and swung her yo-yo up. 

"Now you don't have to be evil anymore!", and a blink of an eye later the Akuma was caught. "Ciao little butterfly," said Ladybug and took the fishing rod from Cat Noir. In the city, all 12 Ikari Gozen turned back into one until she turned back into Madam Tsurugi under black smoke. "We've still got it, my lady," he replied and grinned. "Well done!", the two clapped. From the red car in front of them, Kagami's mother got out. She looked quite confused. "Oh... what... happened?" she asked and tried to locate Ladybug and Cat Noir. Ladybug and Cat Noir came closer. 

"They were akumatized, madam," Cat Noir explained. "Oh... yes, that's right, I remember. They turned down my plan to build a technology campus on a park, I got angry because it had been planned for a long time. How stupid of me," the lady admitted. She adjusted her black glasses. "I'm sure they can have it built somewhere else," Ladybug said and smiled. "But... I have one more question... Madam Tsurugi, can you check if they are wearing a Miraculous? It should be a necklace," Ladybug wanted to know. "Ultimate may have existed after the akumatization," Cat Noir added seriously. "What do you say it looks like again?" Madam Tsurugi wondered. She searched her pockets, then her top and then her handbag, but there was nothing to be found. "It's a stone with a hole in the middle, attached to a necklace," explained Ladybug. "No... I don't have anything like that," she muttered dejectedly. The two heroes stared at her for a moment. "Then how could Ultimoth give her the Miraculous?" Ladybug wondered. Cat Noir scratched his chin. "That must be the surprise that made him not attack us for so long," Chat thought out loud. The beeping of the Miraculous reminded the two of them to transform back. "We'll sort it out later," she grumbled. 

"MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!", then she threw up the fishing rod and her ladybugs repaired the damage done in Paris. To be on the safe side, Ladybug took a magical pendant out of her yo-yo. She took the lady's hand and placed it on hers. She noticed a beautiful gray ring that reminded her of Adrien's. "This lucky charm will protect you from bad feelings. I can't guarantee that Ultimoth could attack you, but always carry it with you," noted Ladybug. "And the old buildings and monuments in Paris are what make the city so lovely. And with the help of their technology, we can keep them safe," Cat Noir encouraged her. After all, the Tsurugi owned the car industry and many other technical departments. Madam Tsurugi thought for a moment. "You're right... thank you both," she thanked them and shook their hands. "See you," and the two disappeared in other directions. Madam Tsurugi watched them for a while, then got into her red car. "Tatsu... take me to the office immediately!" she told the car. 

"Yes, Madam Tsurugi," the car obeyed. Then the next moment she raised her hand and touched her ring. A hologram appeared, whereupon she recognized Gabriel. "Tsurugi-san, I see the ring works," he greeted her. "The rings really did work, Gabriel," she agreed. Gabriel grinned wickedly. "Very good. Let's take the next step, the prototype is still missing," he said mysteriously. 

"Ladybug and Cat Noir won't see this coming."
