Marinette got her bag after getting dressed. She still didn't understand what it all meant. She said goodbye to her mother and met Alya outside. "Well, did you sleep well? I saw yesterday that you had a mission," Alya greeted her. "A mission?" Marinette asked confused. Alya frowned. "You had to defeat Mr. Pigeon again, remember?" Alya explained.

But Marinette didn't understand that either. She couldn't remember having fought Mr. Pigeon recently. But she didn't say anything. "Is everything okay? You seem so tense," her best friend wanted to know. The two were walking through the streets when Marinette stopped. "I had a strange dream," she confessed. Alya raised an eyebrow. "I dreamed that I was fighting Hawkmoth with Cat Noir and we lost..." she said. Alya only frowned even more. "Aha, and then?" she wanted to know. "Everything was destroyed and all the heroes had fallen," Marinette finished her story. "Listen, Marinette, that was probably just a nightmare. Nothing like that has ever happened, right?" Alya reassured her. The two entered the school. The classroom was already full when Marinette and Alya sat down. Adrien stared at Marinette for a moment. She had only dreamed it all. Crazy. She and Adrien weren't together. Adrien wasn't Cat Noir at all. None of that had happened.

"You're just worrying too much, that's it," Alya replied. Marinette nodded. Probably. The class teacher entered the room and greeted the students as she always did. However, Marinette noticed something during the greeting. Madam Bustier wasn't pregnant anymore. Had she just dreamed it all? That couldn't be true, she wasn't that crazy... was she? "Tell me Alya...isn't Madam Bustier pregnant?" Marinette whispered. Alya looked at her confused. "Not that I know of," she replied. What was going on here? Marinette really had to talk to Tikki later. Had she had a vision? Was her dream a warning? Marinette looked around and wanted to know if anything else had changed. Yes, Cloe! She was wearing something completely different than usual. She was wearing a thick hoodie. "Since when has Cloé been wearing something like that?" Marinette wondered. "Well, that's Kim's hoodie. That's normal when you're together," Alya grumbled. Wait, what? Cloé and Kim were together? Since when? Marinette shook her head. A glance behind her revealed that Lila was still sitting in the back.

She looked grimly at the girl. "Don't you like the new one? She hasn't said a word yet," Alya remarked. "Lila...hasn't shown off yet?" Marinette frowned. "Er, no? She's not French, she has trouble speaking, remember? Madam Bustier suggested yesterday that we all learn a little Italian. Well, no one has tried yet. I kind of feel sorry for her," murmured Alya. Marinette looked ahead. Had she gone crazy? Why couldn't she remember anything Alya told her? Why did she have this dream? The bell ended the lesson, and Marinette finally stormed out. She needed some fresh air. Suddenly someone grabbed her wrist. "Marinette? Can we talk for a minute?" Adrien wanted to know. The girl stared at the blond boy in astonishment. "Um... yes," she mumbled. The two stood under a staircase and were silent for a moment.

"Let's go to the library instead... there... no one is listening to us," Adrien replied and pulled her into the room. What did he want to tell her? The two stood behind a shelf. "Please don't laugh at me or think I'm crazy...but I have to ask you something," Adrien confessed. Marinette's cheeks turned red. "Of course not," she assured him. Then Adrien took another deep breath.

"I had a dream. About the two of us...as Ladybug and Cat Noir."
