Nathalie headed for Gabriel's room, where Ann was already telling them the plan. "And so... we will be able to get Cloé back on our side," she finished her story and grinned excitedly. Gabriel Agrest looked at her seriously, then looked at the bee Miraculous that was in his open hand. "And you're sure this plan will work? We don't want to lose another Miraculous," Gabriel questioned the idea. He looked at the picture of the battered Cloé, the sad-looking Sabrina and the grinning Cloé on his display.

This picture had been taken by the little butterfly that Ann had built. "Well... I'm 99.9% sure that we will win this fight. Especially with Lila's abilities, this shouldn't be a problem," Ann replied thoughtfully and adjusted her glasses. Then she turned to Nathalie and greeted her. "Hey Nathalie, are you ready?" she wanted to know. The assistant nodded and smiled. "Ladybug won't see something like this coming," added Nathalie, before exchanging a mysterious look with Ann.

Gabriel greeted Nathalie too. He stared at her involuntarily and couldn't help but smile. Her dark hair...he could smell the scent of her perfume. "Let's go then. Show me with your robot where Cloé is right now," called Gabriel, before turning back into Ultimoth. Ann nodded and turned on the computer.

Marinette, Alya, Adrien and Nino had gathered in the main hall to look at the other rooms in pairs. "Don't forget, always stay in pairs!" called Madam Mandeleva and followed a few students into another hall. "It's crazy, everything here is made of real gold," called Nino and looked at himself in a large wall mirror. Alya stood behind him and made bunny ears. "It's amazing what was built back then," remarked Marinette and took a few photos. "Can I be in the picture?" Adrien asked and grinned. Marinette blushed slightly but nodded. "S-o-r-e-n," she stuttered. Adrien posed in front of the paintings for fun until Alya and Nino came over and made funny faces.

"You'll send them to me later, right?" Alya asked, laughing. "First I'll put them on the internet," Marinette joked and grinned. "Look, Cloé, that looks nice," Sabrina could be heard saying. Marinette turned around and saw Sabrina walking through the hall with Cloé at her side. "Even I have to admit, Luwdig had a hell of a lot of money," Cloé said and fixed her hair. As she passed Marinette, she smiled weakly and nodded at Marinette. Had Cloé, Cloé Bourgies just thanked her? Marinette had to smile inwardly. Maybe Adrien was right, Cloé still had her good side.

"Thank you," Adrien said suddenly and nudged his friend. "What?" she was a little startled. Now she looked like a tomato, embarrassed, and looked into Adrien's eyes. "I mean that you talked to Cloé," Adrien added and smiled. "Oh, that? No problem... we're... friends," laughed Marinette and Adrien agreed.

(Change of perspective)

Cloé and Sabrina entered a smaller room, about the size of the classroom. It looked like an office, well, at least that's what Cloé thought, because a large desk made of solid wood decorated the room and there wasn't much else besides bookshelves and a world map. There was a large red carpet on the floor that fit in well with the atmosphere. Cloé looked at the map while Sabrina looked at the bookshelves.

"They're all just travel books and atlases. What a pity," Sabrina muttered when suddenly the glass shattered loudly. Sabrina fell to the floor screaming as something shot through the window. Cloé stumbled and fell to her knees as something slammed into the cupboard. "Cloé," Sabrina screamed and crouched down, her hands in front of her face to protect herself from the shards. "Sabrina," Cloé gasped in shock and tried to stand up. She looked over at the dark thing, but she couldn't make out who or what it was. "Cloé Bourgies," the being said in a distorted voice.

"You will pay for your bad deeds," the being shouted. Cloé stood up with shaking knees. "Who...who are you?" she wanted to know. She looked worriedly over at the being, who laughed. The dark, purple shimmering smoke wrapped around the body so that nothing could be seen. Was this an akumatized villain from Hawkmoth? But who had made her so angry? Lila? "Cloé," Sabrina whispered again, tears running down her cheeks.

"Leave him alone," Cloé warned the person. "Or else what?" the being wanted to know. With its smoke, it came a step closer. "You don't even know who I am," the person laughed. "Then show yourself! Or are you afraid?" Cloé shouted and looked around for what she could throw. "You know... I'm your worst nightmare," the creature said slowly, in a cold, threatening voice. The smoke cleared and the next moment Cloé could see who the person in front of her was. Startled, she gasped for air and stepped back, trembling.

"No... that's... impossible," she gasped. "Hahaha!" laughed the person, who was none other than Ladybug herself. But not as a normal Ladybug, no. She was akumatized... she was now evil and under Hawkmoth's control...

"Yes, exactly... it's me... Ladybug... or should I say... Miss Fortune?"
