In the rabbit hole, Alix, or rather Anubia, looked at all the other openings into the different eras and moments. But as her gaze wandered, she noticed the adult Alix, frozen into ice. "What... what happened to me?" Alix wanted to know. Ladybug hesitated. "Ultimoth had frozen you into ice and wanted to steal the Miraculous of Time from the future," Ladybug said, looking sadly at the ground. Hopefully they could save the future Bunnix. "Don't worry, my Miraculous Ladybugs will fix everything," she murmured. She walked through the cave with Anubia. In the meantime, Rabbit Noir looked at the moment when Ultimoth was lying on the ground, panting, and the rabbit Miraculous would soon be in Ladybug's hand.

"Come on, first you have to touch the rabbit Miraculous with the ball that he stole," Ladybug pointed to her own hand. "And so we have an ace up our sleeve, right?" Alix replied, playing with the ball. Just as Ladybug picked up the Miraculous of Time, Rabbit opened a portal and Anubia touched the Miraculous with the ball. "Mission completed," she said happily. "Now we just need a perfect place for a perfect trap," Rabbit Noir said, opening a portal to the moment of the Day of Heroes. "To make sure he falls for it, I'll leave one more thing," Ladybug said. She placed the red box with black dots in the middle of the rabbit hole. "Hopefully he likes the gift," she joked.

"Ready," she murmured, and the three entered the timeline, where Scarletmoth sat in his cover, waiting for Ladybug and Cat Noir to fall into his trap. Ladybug and Anubia exchanged a look, then split up and hid behind a post. Now they just had to wait for Ultimoth.

Nathalie had made a sandwich, which she now fed to the Kwamis piece by piece. The poor creatures looked so terribly weak! Nathalie felt sorry for them, she didn't want that. Gabriel had clearly gone too far. Ann, still dejected, had fetched a glass of warm cocoa, from which the Kwamis sipped greedily. "I can't defeat Ladybug... there's always something in the way..." he growled angrily.

"But I'm stronger than her! I have to be able to defeat her! I know I can! I just have to wait for the perfect moment," he said, clenching his hand convulsively. Nathalie looked at her boss worriedly. "Can't you feed these annoying creatures faster?" he snapped at his assistant. Nathalie shook her head. "There is another way, Gabriel. You can use the rabbit's Miraculous in a different way," she suggested. "You can travel back in time before Emilie got sick, you can stop her from using the peacock's broken Miraculous. Here," said Nathalie, putting a USB stick in her hand. "Give this USB stick to yourself so that your past self can repair the Miraculous and this future doesn't happen," said Nathalie, suppressing a cough. She took a sip of water, but her lungs still felt raw.

"That way you can save her. You can save Emelie, Gabriel," she added warmly. Gabriel turned around immediately. He sighed with relief. "Please make the right decision," she begged him. But Gabriel was no longer listening to her, he looked at the USB stick with wide eyes. "How did I not think of that? How stupid of me," he grumbled and grinned. The kwamis huddled together in fear. "Nooroo, Fluff, Baark! Unite!" he called, and he was standing there again as Ultimoth. He touched the rabbit Miraculous with the ball and grinned devilishly. Then he opened a portal and disappeared into the rabbit hole.

Ultimoth walked through the rabbit hole and grinned to himself. He would have won soon. He touched his memory, where he was sitting at the table with Adrien and enjoying the meal. He rewound a little, passed the Christmas dinner and stopped at a picnic scene. Ultimoth stood there sadly and looked at himself and his beloved Emelie on a red picnic blanket. He could still remember that day well. He looked at himself, with his brown hair, and Emelie, with her old, pinned-up hairstyle. Her blonde hair shimmered in the candlelight. He heard her gentle giggle, her voice echoed in his ears.

"Emelie..." gasped Ultimoth and a tear gathered at the edge of his eye. He continued to look at the scene. His old self knelt down and took something out of his jacket pocket. It was the damaged peacock Miraculous... "Are you sure... that you are ready for this... Emelie?" he asked his wife and smiled. Emelie looked into his blue eyes. "Yes... I am quite sure... Gabriel. I have been waiting for this for a long time," she replied and smiled. He put the peacock Miraculous in her hand. "I will always stay by your side," he added.

"And by the side... of our... future son..." he murmured. Then he took her in his arms and carried her into the house. "You have to rest first... tomorrow is your big day," said Gabriel, making Emelie smile.

Ultimoth looked at the scene and felt his heart clench. No...not this day...not this one..."Why Emilie...why did you choose that," he murmured. Ultimoth opened a time portal and wanted to put the USB stick on the picnic blanket, but suddenly he stopped. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed the red box in the center of the rabbit hole.

"Ladybug is trying to trick me again, but...she won't succeed this time," he growled. He looked over at the picnic blanket. His hand touched the soft fabric, the USB stick between his fingers. But he hesitated. He couldn't let go of the USB stick. His thoughts were screaming.

LADYBUG! LADYBUG! LADYBUG! THE MIRACULOUS!

He had to look at the box again. No, no and no again! He couldn't let himself be tricked! But...Emelie...he had to take the stick...Ultimoth shook his head. He could leave the USB stick lying there, but... Ladybug might just win. "I've seen this box before, I remember... it was Heroes' Day," Ultimoth looked around angrily. What should he do now? He bit his lip. He fast-forwarded to another opening and saw that Ladybug and Cat Noir were already hiding behind the corner.

"NO," he whispered angrily. "I won't let you destroy my future, Ladybug!" he shouted angrily. Gabriel looked at Emelie again and sighed. He took the USB stick out again and closed the portal. "I'll be right back, my love, I just have to defeat Ladybug for a moment and then I'll be there. I promise you that," he whispered and touched the memory one last time until he disappeared into the other time.

He would be back soon, but part of him also knew that he had made a mistake and that he would never see Emelie again.
