EP X | Sunday

Waking up with a looooong ass yawn, you stretched your whole body before finally sitting straight and rubbed your eyes

"what time is it?" you mumbled to yourself as your hand reached back to get your phone from the night stand

"Oh, it's just ten-thirty... TEN-THIRTY!?" screaming, you kicked off the blanket from your body before jumping off the bed

"oh wait- what day is it today?" you asked yourself and checked the date on the calendar "oh god" you heaved out a heavy breathe and dropped your figure on the floor feeling exhausted after finding out that it was Sunday which means that office is off today

"It's a good thing tho.. I don't need to face him today" you sighed, feeling relieved for some reason as you thought you'd feel uneasy or awkward if you got to see him today

So, it was good that it was weekend which will prevent the event from being done so.. but who knows? Maybe something really unexpected could happen ¯⁠\⁠_⁠ʘ⁠‿⁠ʘ⁠_⁠/⁠¯

you got up and walked towards your washroom to freshen up to start the day

"Come in, Hao" you opened the door to see your best friend standing at your doorstep while carrying a brown paper bag

"So, Dohyun is back?" Minghao asked making you nod while taking another sip from your chocolate milk "and... do you still have any feelings for him?" your pupils grew big when that question left his mouth

you choked on your drink as minghao leaned in to pat your back "yah- what happened?" He looked at you with worried eyes while continuously patting your back "here, drink this" you drank the liquid that he had handled you "thanks.." you inhaled and exhaled heavily before your breathing finally got normal and cleaned after yourself

"did I ask such question to make you choke that bad?" you looked at him through the corner of your eyes before focusing on your drink again "y/n.." minghao called out for you, noticing that you ignored his question "mhm?" you sipped once more "why aren't you answering?" He asked which made you finally give up and bring your gaze up to look at him

"What did you ask?" "That do you still like Dohyun or no?" "I-I--" you felt your mind go blank for some reason while minghao looked at you with a 'done' look on his face already knowing that you're trying to come up with a lie or something

"what is there to lie about?" He glared at you making you whine "let's not talk about it, nah~" you pouted "don't do that with your lips, you duck" he passed you a disgusted look making you roll your eyes at him

"anyways, if you'll like to avoid this question of mine then I'll also like to take that you still like that man" he casually shrugged while you looked at him with wide eyes and a gasp escaping your mouth

"Seriously, what's the point of that?" pissed was clearly visible in your voice when you said that "I don't know but you just didn't want to answer that simple question" he sipped from his drink by the straw

"I don't know, alright? It's just these weird feelings I got when I again saw him after so many years and also these weird feelings when he talks to me whenever we meet up. I've had this huge ass liking on him when we were in highschool so, it is understandable to me why I'm feeling this way and I also expect it to go away sooner or later" you didn't even realize it when you had ranted all of these, that too aggressively

poor minghao on the hand was just listening to you with both of his ears trying his best to get what you tried say in such speed "So, you do still like him?" He asked making you shoot daggers at him through your eyes "aight, I won't say anything any further" he held his hands up in defeat

"cause I already got my answer" he mumbled under his breath trying to avoid your killer gaze that never left his figure

"Ehe.." he nervously chuckled seeing you eyeing him so dangerously as if you could just commit a murder right now, right here
