She stared Adora in confusion for a moment, then her smile widened. "Adora, is that you? You look just like her." She embraced Adora in a warm hug. When she squeezed Adora's waist, Adora couldn't prevent the tears from trickling down her cheeks.

"It's okay." Razz stroked her hair, and angled her body towards the health care aid. "Why didn't you say she was coming today? I would have made more pies for her."

"I told you this morning," she said, running a hand through her auburn hair. "I think we have enough, anyway. We don't want the food to go bad."

Razz leaned towards Adora, shaking her head. "She likes to pretend she doesn't make mistakes;" she whispered. At a louder tone, she said, "ah, right. My bad, dearie."

She shook her head, and extended a hand towards Angela. "You're the...guardian, right?"

"...Right." She shook it carefully. "It's so nice to meet you. As soon as we found out, we had to visit."

"Yeah...But she's not my guardian." Adora pulled away, wiping her cheeks. With her spare hand, she led Razz towards her family. "She's my mom, too. She's been really good to me."

"Oh...." Angella smiled. "I tried. I love her so much."

"That's sweet." Razz pointed towards Glimmer and Bow, her opposite arm resting on her cane. "And you must be friends! Come on in, where it's warm."

Adora looped her arms through Glimmers. "This is so...surreal."

"I bet," she said. Bow held the door open for them. "I would be feeling weird, too." There was a look in her eyes that seemed faraway. She blinked it away, but there was something different in the way she walked. She just felt...off

Wait a minute...

"You're dad," Adora said. "Are you jealous that I get to see-"

"It's fine." Glimmer swallowed. "I'm okay. Really."

"You sure?" Bow asked, and she nodded. They rounded the corner, and the smell of flour was suddenly as pungent as permanent marker. Adora breathed it in. Was that...cinnamon?

Razz gestured for the health care aid to come over. "Aria! Come help me..." when Adora came forward she extended her arm out, stopping her from reaching them. "Not you, not yet. You're, my guest, She-Ra."

"She-oh, my God." Adora facepalmed. "I am never going to live it down, am I?"

"Why would you?" She asked. "She-Ra is a part of you, with or without that sword."

"The..." Adora frowned before she fully registered what that meant. "You mean the sword of protection, right? From our games?" Maybe she could get behind a little make believe, if Razz had such fond memories of them. "Yeah, right, right. The sword of Protection. I would go all whoosh, whoosh-" She made the motion with her hand. "And it was pretty cool, actually."

Razz had the table set. She was cutting pie slices for them. Angela was ready to help, and the conversation swayed. Adora turned to Aria, extending a hand to her. "Hey. I never got to say hi. This is my first visit and I'm so excited-I was so nervous before I came here, but now everything feels right, like I should have been here before. I don't know why it was a closed adoption when she's been here all along, five hours away and all I had to do was call and so I did and here I am."

Aria stared for a moment before shaking back. "I'm glad you did too. She's always talking about you."

Adora swallowed. "She...is?"

"You and your mom. I think she confuses you guys. And, well, She-Ra... it's as I said on the phone."

"I think it's all a game."
