Adora held the car door open. Scorpia, all dressed up in dark dress pants, emerged. Adora couldn't help but find it funny, because she was Scorpia, after all. Dating her felt like she was dating Glimmer.

But it wasn't really a date, right? So she was fine. She'll be fine.

They were both in the backseat as Glimmer drove. Music played in the background, so they didn't have to speak. But she could feel Scorpia's eyes burn through her. She cleared her throat. "So, uh...how are you?"

"Good, good." She smiled. "You?"

"Good."

Oh, god, where was Glimmer's singing when she needed it?

Bow turned his head, looking between the both of them. "So," he said, "have you been to my dad's library before?"

"Yeah." Scorpia nodded. "Catra forgot her lunch a few times, so I came by..."

"You guys are really close."

"We are." She shrugged. "What can I say? We're the super-pal trio."

"The super pal what?" Adora raised an eyebrow.

"Shh, it's a secret." She pressed a finger to her lips, and at Bow and Adora's expression, chuckled. "Nah. I'm joking. Do you talk about your best friend squad all the time?"

"Fair," Adora said, but at the time Bow said, "of course!"

Adora gave him a weird look. "Yeah...but it's a title-oh, I get it. So it's you, and Catra, and..."

"Entrapta."

"Right," she said. "I should really meet her."

"She should be off from her uni class soon." Scorpia shrugged. "Maybe when we get back."

They arrived five minutes early, but nevertheless, Lance and George's car was in the driveway. Inside, the room was warm, and the video games and computer section seemed so inviting. Everything seemed cleaner, too, and music played in the background.

Lance and George were at the front desk, books stacked on the counter. When they saw them, Lance waved with a free hand, his other arm consumed by a pile of books. "Hey! We were just sorting. Everything's in the teen corner. We set up a table."

And sure enough, they did. It was a small, foldable table, with the food overtop. Pizza! It was pizza, in four different boxes.

"We thought it would be cute to do a Pizza party," George said, and they all startled as he appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. "This should be an event! Bow's got his first girlfriend."

Bow's cheeks turned red. "Dad..."

"What? We're so proud of you." He smiled. "He's been mooning after you for so long, I thought he'd never go and ask you out."

"Oh, really?" Glimmer chuckled. "Cute."

Lance joined them a minute later, and soon they were all biting into pizza. Adora had to say, it felt weird eating on clean library floors. Bow seemed to notice, too, because he ate slowly, with care. The conversation kept on, with Lance and George aptly asking about school and work.

"And Bow's been working hard," George said. "We've seen him studying so hard for his English degree program."

Scorpia raised an eyebrow. "English?-ow! Oh, right. English. Yep. Bow's such an English nerd."

Bow's eyes shot lasers at Adora. "Y-yep. I am. Adora and I are always studying for it. Cause uh, English is so fun. Books, am I right?"

"I just read fanfiction," Glimmer said, between pizza bites. Adora couldn't help but laugh. At that. she turned red. "On top of classics, I mean. Classics are your guy's favorites, right? They're so...classical. It's cool."
