Everyone was at the arena in Kansas City, Missouri for Dynamite that night. Sam went to Steve Borden's (Sting) locker room. The door was open so he went in.

"Hey man." Steve said. "How's it going?"

"Bad."

"Still having trouble remembering things?"

"Yeah but it's not just that." Sam shut the door. "Have I told you anything about what's wrong with Hal?" "I know something is wrong, she won't tell me."

"You are kidding me." "She hasn't told you?"

"I knew there was something." "What is it?"

"Sit down." Sam sat down. "Sam, you and Hallie are getting a divorce."

"We're what?" He said shocked. "No." "I love her." "Why?" "What happened?"

"I know, but I shouldn't be the one to tell you." "You should ask Hallie."

Hallie was standing by the interview area by herself preparing for the show. She spotted Max. He made a motion with his eyes for to follow him and walked away. She waited about thirty seconds and followed him. He pulled her into a empty hall. They started kissing. She broke it after about ten seconds.

"We can't do this here." She said.

"I know." "I just missed you."

"I missed you to."

"Are you still going house hunting in Portland tomorrow and Friday?"

"Yeah."

"What are you gonna tell Sam?"

"The truth." "It's going to be a hard conversation."

"I know." "You can come stay with me tonight if you need to."

"I might."

He kissed her quickly. "Bye."

"Bye."

Hallie noticed Sam was being quiet driving back to hotel. They'd just gotten back to the hotel. They sat down on the couch.

"I have to tell you something Sam." She said.

He looked at her like he was going to cry. "Why didn't you tell me we're getting divorced?"

She was surprised he said that. "The reason is very hard for me to talk about, and I was hoping you'd remember on your own."

"That's why you've been acting like you have."

"Yeah."

"Why do we still live together if we're divorcing?"

"It was the recommendation of our lawyers." "I was going to tell you about our divorce tonight." "I'm going to Portland to look at houses tomorrow and Friday." "Our divorce is going to be finalized very soon."

"Why?" "What happened to us?" "Why are you leaving me?"

"I'm not leaving you Sam, you're leaving me." "You're the one who filed for divorce."

"Tell me what happened."

"Ok." "I will, but I don't want to." She said with tears in her eyes. "It was unexpected but I got pregnant." "You were so happy when I told you." "We decided to tell only family and close friends at first." "One night, three months into the pregnancy." Tears went down her cheeks. "I started to bleed." "We rushed to the hospital." "I... She started crying.

"You had a miscarriage?" She nodded her head yes.

She wiped her eyes. "After that you became distant and cold towards me." "If I tried to talk to you about the baby you refused." "We stopped having sex, stopped talking to each other." "Eventually we resented each other."

"I'm sorry." He hugged her. "I'm so sorry." He looked at her. "I love you."

"No you don't Sam, not anymore."

"Yes I do." He kissed her. She kissed him back. For the first time since the accident, to Sam, this felt like a kiss from his wife. He knew she was still in there somewhere. To Hallie it was like she stepped into a time portal and her husband was back. Then she reminded herself this wasn't real. This wasn't really Sam. She reminded herself that the second Sam's memory came back, this side of him would be gone. Most important of all she thought of Max. She broke the kiss.

"I can't Sam, I can't."

"Hallie."

"No." "This isn't really you." She went into the bedroom, shut the door and cried.
