Chapter 51

The next morning Hallie came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel. She went into the bedroom to get some clothes. Sam followed a few seconds later with a towel wrapped around his waist. Her back was to him. She was looking through her bag for clothes. She smiled as she felt his arms wrap around her waist. He kissed her shoulder.

"Stop that." She said.

"Why?"

"We both have to go."

"Let's go back to bed."

"Twice this morning wasn't enough for you?"

"No"

She turned around. "You're so bad."

They kissed. "I'll be quick, I promise."

Ten minutes later Hallie walked Sam to the door.

"That was a lot of fun." Sam said.

"Sex with us always is."

"Tell Penelope daddy loves her when you see her."

"I will." They kissed.

"Bye."

"Bye." He left. Hallie had butterflies in her stomach. That hadn't happened since she and Sam had first started dating. Sam was also very happy and pushed out of his mind that it probably wouldn't last.

Twenty minutes later Hallie walked through the Andrea's front door.

"Hi mommy." Penelope said sitting on the floor.

"Hi." "Daddy says he loves you."

"See him."

"He went back on the road." "Stay there and watch TV." "I have to talk to aunt Andrea for a minute."

Hallie and Andrea went into the bedroom and shut the door.

"What?" Andrea asked.

"I slept with Sam." "I'm so stupid."

"Why was that stupid?"

"Come on Andrea." "You know Sam and I don't work." "The sex works, god, it was working last night and this morning." "I don't want to hurt him."

"Then don't Hallie." "Tell him you love him, tell him you want him back."

"I can't." "It's not just us anymore." "If it doesn't work out I can't put the kids through that.""They all love him."

"I know."

"I don't know what to do." She started crying. Andrea hugged her.

"Aw, it's ok."
