It was Monday. Everyone was at the arena taping Dynamite because of Thanksgiving. Sam got a text from Hallie asking him to meet her in the south hall, where they would be alone. Sam showed up first. Hallie showed up two minutes later.

"I just wanted to let you know, I've decided to keep the baby." Hallie said.

He smiled. "That's great."

"After Thanksgiving is when we're doing the DNA test."

"You haven't told him yet have you?"

"I'm going to after Thanksgiving."

"You still know the test is a waste of time." She walked away.

Wednesday night Hallie and Max were at her house watching the Dynamite. It got to the first AEW backstage segment with Hallie.

"The baby just made it's AEW debut." Max said.

"Well technically it already has honey."

"I know but now I get to talk about it."

"Are we telling your family tomorrow?"

"Not yet." "I want to wait until I'm not of the danger of having a miscarriage."

"Everything will be fine baby." "It's gonna be a happy, healthy baby."

"I hope to god you're right."

The next day Hallie and Max had just gotten to Sophia's house. Andrea was already there.

"Max, this is my mom Sophia and my sister Andrea."

"It's so nice to meet you both." Max said.

"It's nice to meet you." Sophia said. "I've heard a lot about you."

A half hour later they were sitting down to eat.

"Do you want red or white wine Hallie?" Andrea asked.

"I don't feel like drinking today." Sophia smiled. "What?"

"Are you pregnant?" Sophia asked happily.

"I wasn't gonna say anything yet, but yes."

"That's so great, I'm gonna be a grandma."

After dinner Hallie went to the bathroom. After she was finished Andrea was waiting for her in the upstairs hall.

"Max doesn't know there's a question of paternity does he?"

"Not yet." "I'm telling him tomorrow." "I didn't want to spoil the holiday."

Hallie and Max had just gotten back to the house.

"I had a good time day." Max said.

"I'm glad."

"I know you have your worries about the baby, but you don't have to worry about me." "I'm ready to commit to you." He took a little red box.

"Oh god." She said shocked. He got down on one knee and opened the box.

"We don't have to get married right away." "We can stay engaged as long as you want." "I love you." "Will you marry me?"

She knew she had to tell him before she answered. "We have to talk Max, right now."
