I took a step back to admire our work. You know, this isn't half bad. We borrowed some chairs and tables from the school then bought cheap blue table cloths to drape over the tables. In the center of each table you could find two numbers. Those two numbers signified who you were spending time with.
The girls really got busy a few days ago when I fell asleep during class. We dedicated the last few hours to go over everything before we finished up decorating the final props. By the time I woke up, these girls decided to not only add in the pictures but also a "Rent-A-Maid". I'm not really sure how that will go but I feel like it would be popular with the guys.
Since I'm here I'm not really worried that they'll step out of line. I'm pretty sure almost everyone knows what happened during freshman lunch last week anyway. Most of my embarrassment as gone away since then too. A lot of the girls actually thought it was pretty cool that I stood up for myself after Vin Jin called me a whore.
I'm hoping that everyone that complimented my fake bravery will come today. I'm not letting those other departments win! Not while I'm in the Bakery Department!
Towards the back of the tables we had a photo wall made by yours truly. Uncle had some leftover plywood laying around so I just painted the background a soft blue then hot glued a bunch of large assortment of different sized flowers to it. So it kind of looks like your taking a picture at a flower garden.
To the left we had our actual stand where small pastries were neatly displayed next to each other. I have a really good feeling about this.
Was it because we had a really good turn out in club members even though they said they were dropping out? Nope. Could it be that our pastries have never turned our fluffier and they were even ogled by some of the other departments while we were setting up? Wrong! The reason I'm feeling so great...hehe...is because we're doing a Maid themed Café.
"Wow, this actually looks really nice and it didn't even cost that much to set up!" Jeon's voice suddenly got really gloomy and dark, "But hey...Ila...I thought you said we were all wearing maid outfits! So were is yours!"
Why did I not look good in a suit?
"Well...I already had a suit so I thought I be a butler."
He fumed, "That's not the point! And what are you doing here! Aren't only freshman supposed to be selling?!"
Hwan and Jeon started going at each other.
Ah...the sweet sound of chaos. Haha!
"Wow, Ila, you look really nice. I don't think even the guys in our department could pull off a suit like that."
Really? Haha, what can I say?
To be honest this wasn't planned at all. One of the regulars at my Uncle's shop has a wife that does sewing. The thing was though...that when I gave her everyone's measurements like she asked...I kind of forgot to give her mind. Uncle said that it was too late to do anything about it since it was the day before and I had already passed our everyone else's outfits so I had to resort to what I had.
Actually, I wasn't sure if I wanted to put this on. It was what I wore to my parents funeral but knowing them they'd get mad if I spent this much money on a suit and didn't wear it. My outfit consisted of a fitting white button down shirt, black slacks, and a black vest that complimented my figure perfectly.
To add a little spice to the persona I will be playing today, I kept the top two buttons undone. I even had my hair down despite it being a bit warm outside. Though the weather had gotten significantly better from the start of the semester. It should be bearable by night fall.
