Okay, this is starting to get annoying. It's been thirty minutes already since we've been trying to get Vasco to leave. I've been polite. I've been clear and now I want him out of my damn house. Don't get me wrong, it was nice having him here but he was acting all weird for some reason. For a while now he's been acting more awkward than usual.
Even Jace seems concerned. If Jace doesn't know what's going on then how would the rest of us? It's also a bit worrying, though when I asked him why he didn't want to leave he would simply start sweating bullets and shut his trap. Obviously not wanting to lie but refusing us the truth. So, he's being banished for the rest of the day.
"Vasco, I need to have a private talk with Viola and my Uncle so can you please leave?"
He shook his head, "No, it's not time."
I turned around and slammed my head against the wall.
Time for what? He's been repeating that for the last half hour.
'Kill him.'
No, I'm not going to kill him. Stop being unreasonable.
'He's making you angry. Kill him.'
He's not getting me angry (okay, maybe a little bit), I'm frustrated. There's a difference.
'Don't you want to show everyone how strong you are?'
Okay, now the voice in my head just sounded desperate. This isn't remotely the time to start a fight. Especially since I honestly didn't feel like it. Had it been earlier before I got kidnapped then maybe the crazy voice in my head would've won. But no...you just had to be rational then, didn't you?
Though, if he wasn't going to leave willingly then I could just carry him out of here. How much do you think he weighs? 200 pounds of pure muscle? I could feel my cheeks growing warm. For the sake of my sanity, let's not think about the muscle part.
Jace grabbed him by the wrist, "Vasco, we've overdone our stay. We need to go. What's gotten into you?"
Vasco looked away from him, "We can't, not yet."
"Why not?"
"Because it's not time."
"Not time for what?"
"To leave."
Okay! I've had enough! I can't listen to this for another thirty seconds, much less thirty minutes! I'm draggin this overgrown puppy out of here whether he likes it or not! I rolled up my sleeves and marched straight towards Vasco. His body had been in front of the door, almost protecting it. What is actually wrong with him? He's not usually like this.
I grabbed him firmly by the collar of his shirt. His eyes went wide as they looked down at me. I glared at him, gently though. I didn't want him to think I hated him or something. I'm just tired and do need to talk to Viola and my Uncle. There are a lot of things they need to know about.
"Look here you overgrown, hunk. I need you out of here. So either you get out or I'm making you."
His eyes trembled a bit, "B-but I-I can't. It's not time."
Okay, yeah. I'm not doing this right now. I grabbed him by the waist and immediately regretted the decision. As my arms wrapped around him I could feel my body sink into his warm, soft frame. He felt so nice. From this close I could also smell all of him. I was practically drawing in leather and wood.
'I-'
No. Shut up. I'm not having you put any more dirty thoughts in my head.
Surprisingly enough the other me did quiet themselves.
