Seconds after I hung up the phone, I made my way down the abandoned building. Or what I thought to be abandoned anyway. As soon as I opened the stairwell to the first floor I was greeted by bustling noise and bright lights. People leaned forward in their small PC cubicles. Mostly groups of students who silently yelled at each other.

Computers were placed in tight rows with small plastic dividers for privacy. The trim of the walls were lined in bright purple and blue neon lights. I blocked my eyes from the sudden light only for a pair of footsteps to approach me. The man had a white uniform shirt on with a small badge that simply read, PC Cafe.

"What are you doing? That place is off limits and is currently under construction! Can't you read the damn sign?"

I turned around, and sure enough, there was a sign that said that the upper floors were currently under construction and that no one was allowed to pass. I'm guessing that not even staff. My eyes widened. Wait...if we weren't able to get through then...then maybe he saw whoever brought me here!

I grabbed the employee by the collar of the shirt maybe a bit too roughly, "Cameras! Do you have any cameras in here!"

He tried to push away from me, fear now covering his face, "W-what? Let me go or I'm calling the damn cops! You damn foreigners! Always causing trouble!"

Always causing trouble? What the fuck was that supposed to mean? I let him drop to the ground and catch his breath. While he was doubled over, rubbing at his neck and I leaned over him. My eyes had gone cold at his statement. A small group of students near us were looking at the commotion with both curiosity and fear.

"What do you mean by that?"

I'm past it being some sort of racist remark. The way he said it made it seem like someone had come by personally to mess with him. That's when I noticed a small camera in the corner of the room. Usually they would have some sort of red blinking lights to let you know that they were currently under use. I scanned the room to find that all the cameras were slouching on their stands, their heads busted.

The employee glared up at me, "Just a few days ago some crazy asshole came in here and made a mess of the place! Scared off a bunch of our customers! He said that we had scammed him or some shit just because he kept losing at a damn game!"

What kind of crazy psychopath goes on a rampage and only breaks the cameras of a place? No matter how I look at it, it seems both completely dumb and out of pocket. Though, it didn't really matter. As long as they weren't working. I took a step back from the guy as he stood up.

So that means that I don't have any footage to show them dragging me here. I looked around the full PC room. For some reason I feel that even if I asked everyone here none of them would know about them either. So how did they get me here? It would've been hard not to notice someone dragging a limp body behind them.

"You better get out of here before I call the cops! I'm not going to wait like last time and have my place wrecked even more!"

Tsk. He's getting on my damn nerves.

I ignored his "threats" and walked back into the stairwell. Once the door shut behind me I took out my phone and turned on the flashlight. The guy tried to open the door to come after me but I simply locked the door. It's not like he was strong enough to knock it down. That meant he'd probably have to go get the key.

That'll give me enough time to do some snooping around. Besides, he just said the cameras weren't working. So how would the cops even know who I was? Even though us foreigners were pretty easy to make out on the streets, the chances of the police actually doing something is low.
