Tatsuya: You guys wanted to talk about something?
Sora: Yep.
Prior to the mission where the group would be heading to the Ibaraki prefecture where Apocalypse's secret base is.
Blank (Sora and Shiro) decided to meet up with Shiba Tatsuya in his room to discuss a few certain things.
Sora: So ughh...you know all that stuff about using your tech and stuff.
Tatsuya: What? Do you two want another lesson or something? Don't you two have a mission to focus right now?
Sora: Well...we do but don't worry, it's not about another lesson from you or from Kazuto.
Tatsuya: So, what is it then?
Shiro: You should just get to the point.
Sora: Alright, alright. Listen, Tatsuya...I don't even know why I'm telling you this now but...thank you.
Tatsuya: Hmm?
His face was filled with confusion but composed himself quickly as he asked Sora.
Tatsuya: Thank me...for what?
Sora: For teaching me a bit on tech. I mean, despite my own grand intellect. I'm not actually good at everything. No...the two of us, Blank aren't good at everything.
Shiro: Huh?
Sora: Heh! You know. While we both dominated the gaming world and all. Real life is a different kind of game. Not one where you can win with just wits alone. Shiro and I experienced that first-hand when the 6th generation came. It made realize that no matter how much I can use my brain...it doesn't stop a fist coming for my face. That's just a fact.
Tatsuya: Sora...
Sora: Hey, I know it sounds like I'm beating myself up but...I really needed to get this out of my system.
Tatsuya: But why with me? Why not just speak to Kiyotaka instead?
Sora: Nahh, that'd be a little embarrassing for us. After all, he expects a lot from me given my intellect being supposedly greater than his...but in reality...I...we were more inferior than we thought.
Shiro: What are you even saying?
Sora: You should know by now that I'm just the many shut-ins in this society. Actually, I do despise society because of the many flaws that humanity presents. Obviously, while do hate society, I don't have any form of violent plans on dealing with it. I just want life to be simple where I don't have to face such responsibilities. Where Shiro and I can just live free with nothing to worry about than just proving that we're the best.
Tatsuya: Hmm...I do get what you're saying. Though I have been wondering for the longest period of time ever since I met the both of you.
Sora: And what would that be?
Tatsuya: Your intellects. For a couple of shut-ins, you two seems to have a level of thinking that even surpasses that of a normal prodigy or more than that. I've been wondering how you two even became this smart in the first place. It shouldn't be humanly possible unless you've been studying nonstop since your childhoods or unless you're from the White Room which is unlikely.
Sora: You know...for some reason. I can't remember how we even got to where we are now.
Tatsuya: Hmm?
