3rd person POV
Her shock was clear on her face.
This was the first time she's ever felt like this.
Kyoko couldn't believe her eyes as she saw what's going on.
On the other side of the window that separated Kurumi and Hayasaka. There was another room which has a man tied up, battered and bleeding.
No...it wasn't just any man as Kyoko begins to mutter a word.
Kyoko: Father?
Kokichi: That's right!
Kyoko: Huh?
Kokichi: The second favor I asked Togami-kun, is to have him capture your father, Kirigiri Jin.
Kyoko: What is this!?
Byakuya: I wasn't a fan of doing what he says, especially that second favor. But I had no choice. In fact, he forced me to.
Kyoko: Forced you to?
Byakuya: While I do still hold a grudge, I won't take such drastic methods to get what I want. Unfortunately, that scumbag, Ouma made sure I do follow that second favor. The favor he made me do first.
Kokichi: I'm well aware that he's not the type to commit a crime. After all, what would be the point if you're running a global business? That's why I made a drastic bombshell to ensure that Togami-kun does follow. A condition of sorts that will make him play this game and kidnap Jin.
Kyoko: What conditions.
Kokichi: You forget, I'm a member of Apocalypse. We can simply wipe any business off the face of this Earth just like that. We have the means to do so.
Byakuya: He told me he can ruin the entire family business within a few days. Obviously, I didn't believe him at least until he told me about this Fyodor Dostoevsky. I've heard about that criminal from the Russian branch of my company before he made his moves here in Japan. Tch! After what Ouma told me about Fyodor's capabilities. It's hard to ignore the facts. I had no choice. There's no way even I had the means to go against Fyodor or Apocalypse.
Kyoko: I see now. You were forced to be in this game...but why would you and Ouma capture my father? I know you're better than that despite working for Daigo Haru before.
Byakuya: True but...Daigo never threatened to end my business. I didn't believe he could. Compared to Apocalypse. They have the means to destroy everything that I've built.
Kyoko: So, you made a deal with Ouma. I understand the other layer to the situation...but it doesn't excuse the fact that this was all because you want to battle Ayanokouji-kun.
Byakuya: I was caught in a complicated dilemma. While I do not give credits to scumbags often. Ouma was clever enough to force my mental into a corner. He made me want to battle Ayanokouji and when I took the bait, he used Apocalypse's capabilities to ensure that I don't back out of the deal. It doesn't matter if what I did was selfish or if the situation with my company will give you sympathy. And like I said before...how could I pass up an opportunity to battle Ayanokouji?
Meanwhile
Control Room
Ayanokouji was watching the room where Kyoko and Togami in silence as his thoughts raced around.
Ayanokouji POV
I knew Togami was a traitor among the group. It didn't make sense for him to be there in the first place and there is a reason for that.
