Tokisaki Kurumi was on the rooftop as she experiences a much colder breeze.
It is the Winter season as it is the first week of December where Winter starts in Japan.
Mostly, this would mean that there are only a few weeks left before Christmas.
Normally for someone like Kurumi. She would ready herself to buy presents for her friends and especially to her special man, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka.
But things are different.
She's usually happy during this time but her expression was more serious but also melancholic at the same time.
???: There you are, Kurumi!
Kurumi: Huh?!
She hears a voice as she looked behind her and saw three familiar figures.
Hayasaka, Asuna, and Miyuki (Shiba) showed up.
Asuna: We were looking for you.
Miyuki: Yeah, Ayanokouji-san told us to find you after immediately noticing that you disappeared.
Kurumi: Ohh...I see. I guess that's expected of him. He really is adorable when he's worried about me.
Hayasaka: You and me both, girl.
Kurumi: Anyway, I didn't mean to take off so suddenly. I just wanted a bit of alone time. You know, contemplate on some things.
Asuna: Understandable. Makes me wonder though. Are you nervous about the mission?
Kurumi: Hmmm...maybe a bit. I suppose it's because...this is the biggest mission we've been in. I am aware that there's gonna be a lot of work here.
Miyuki: We know. I am as nervous as you to be honest.
Hayasaka: Either way, you are right that we have a lot of work to do. Must be daunting even for you based on the tone of your voice.
Kurumi: I mean we still need to find where Apocalypse is. Kiyotaka-kun likely already planned things out by now before our other guests arrived.
Miyuki: Speaking of other guests. Who are they exactly?
Hayasaka: I'm told that they are other members of the CSD that have yet to be officially join the group personally.
Miyuki: As in...they are honorary members that will become official members?
Kurumi: You can perceive it as such.
Asuna: It's nice to have more people on our side. Apocalypse has always had the numbers advantage but this time... we'll be able to level the playing field.
Hayasaka: That I agree, but let's not forget that we're together. We're still a single unit capable of taking on anyone.
Kurumi: Ai's right. No matter how strong Apocalypse is. It won't stop us. They're not the only ones who can be a forced to be recon with. Do you guys agree?
The three girls nodded in agreement.
Kurumi: Remember, we're not just doing this for Kiyotaka-kun's sake. We're doing this for our sakes. Our freedom, so we can go back to our normal lives!
Hayasaka/Asuna/Miyuki: Yeaaaahhhh!!!
As the girls cheered on.
